We have just returned from a fantastically relaxing holiday in Dubai and the Maldives, arranged through Guru Travel. From the initial booking, to the support given when we were away, I cannot fault their professionalism and attention to detail highly enough. Emily Salisbury was on hand to answer any questions we had and Hummingbird Travel meeting us in the Maldives to see us thorough the arrival and departure process was a great touch. I have recently returned from travelling to Cape Town/ Shamwari Game Reserve and Mauritius this was booked through GURU TRAVEL my agent was Emily Salisbury all I can say is a big thank you to you and your team from starting the booking procedure to arriving back home it was all amazing.
I follow Guru Travel on Facebook and noted Emily had been on safari so I followed her stories and upon her return messaged to ask regards hotels/game reserve etc.
Emily recommended the hotels and the game reserve I am so glad I listened to her advice all where beautiful.
All the international flights/internal flights/car travel was booked by Guru the whole thing was very smooth everything went to plan whilst out there.
There was a lovely greeting card in every place we visited from Guru travel to welcome us to the hotels.
I cannot recommend this company enough it takes the stress and hassle away so you can enjoy your holiday without any hassle.
I will be booking with them again in the near future.

We used Guru Travel this year for our trip to the Maldives and Abu Dhabi and I have to say the service was excellent. I definitely recommend them and would certainly use them again.

We booked our honeymoon to the Maldives through Guru, we have to say we can’t fault it one little bit. Everything was absolutely perfect. Communication before our trip was fab, tickets arrived in good time with link to the visa form we had to fill in.

Our review of Sandals, St Vincent, booked via Guru Travel

We have just arrived home from a week at the beautiful, secluded Sandals St Vincent and have enjoyed every second

From the moment we arrived we felt very taken care of by the attentive team on resort. Welcome drinks certainly hit the spot after a very warm arrival from the cold U.K. climate! After a swift check in, we were taken straight to our room where our cases had already been placed, and after a brief tour we were left to settle in. The room was larger, light, beautifully styled and had an enormous amount of storage - even a walk in dressing room!
We had a reservation at one of their 11 restaurants as I was celebrating my 50th Birthday on the day we travelled/arrived. The restaurant team had made a special effort and decorated the table for me and after a beautiful meal, the whole team sang happy birthday. On returning to our room we found rose petals and birthday cake which was a lovely touch.

The resort itself is so beautiful. Set in a lush green valley with no other hotels in sight, it felt very exclusive. Meandering pathways through tropical gardens give way to pristine pool areas and the private cove beaches (2). It really is a stunning place. It was immaculately clean at all times.

There’s a good selection of restaurants to choose from and all of them served lovely food.

We loved that their onsite photo team wander around during the day and evening to capture memories of your stay which you can view and purchase at the end of your stay. We hardly ever get photos of us both together so it was great to have this as an option.

Our only complaint was that we had to come home!

We are now looking for our next holiday! Possibly another Sandals resort

We found guru travel on Facebook and contacted them to arrange our honeymoon in NYC and Secrets Montego Bay. The service was excellent, and the holiday itself was fantastic. The agents had messaged ahead to let both hotels know what we were celebrating and we received very warm welcomes and lots of extra goodies that made us both feel so special. We would recommend them to anyone who wanted to arrange a brilliant holiday.

After seeing Guru Travel on Facebook and reading their reviews we made contact with them to help us find our perfect honeymoon break. The service Paul and Emily provided throughout was exceptional. They went through the various holiday options in great detail and nothing was ever too much to ask. Keeping us regularly updated from initial booking to any changes or options up until arrival. Our decision was to honeymoon at Sandals Resort Royal Barbados. The whole experience was amazing, from landing at the airport where a taxi awaited to take us on the short journey to our resort. The Resort itself was everything we could dream of. A ground floor apartment, beautifully decorated, fully stocked bar and with a swim up suite with soaking tub, and a to welcome us we were met with an ice bucket of champagne, petals and card, congratulating us on our marriage and wishing us the best honeymoon stay. Throughout our time on the resort, everything was perfect. The gardens were lovely, food and drink exceptional and pools and beach paradise. We only have positive words to express our experience with Guru Travel and will 100% recommend them to friends and family and look forward to booking our next holiday with them next year.

I found Alex, their representative very pushy.....wanted me to write a positive review as soon as the booking was made! Fortunately I held back....because when we got to the airport we found that we did not get the extra legroom we have paid for. This was also the case on our return leg.
Upon my return I asked for the additional money to be refunded and they have not even the courtesy to contact me.

Just returned from a week at the Rhixos marina Abu Dhabi. The holiday came as a package deal supplied by The guru team and everything was organised spot on from start to finish. Would highly recommend.

Booked our holiday to Abu Dhabi and The Maldives through Guru Travel, I had followed them on Facebook for a while, and saw a deal I couldn’t resist. The booking process was so easy, I requested certain dates, and they got back to me quickly with an itinerary and prices, I decided to book, and they arranged to ring me and confirm and take a deposit, they emailed me when the deposit was due, and I paid this over the phone, they were helpful when I wanted to book the seats on the plane, and sent me all the information I needed for my holiday, it was nice having a personal service, and everyone I spoke to was professional. We had a fantastic holiday in Abu Dhabi and The Maldives, all the transfers were arranged by Guru Travel, and again the companies they chose were both helpful and professional, and at both our hotels there was a note in our room from Guru Travel, wishing us a fantastic holiday. We would definitely book with Guru Travel again.

We booked our honeymoon through Guru Travel. We went to Dubai and Bali and Guru Travel arranged everything, through to flights, hotels and all hotel / airport transfers. Everything ran smoothly and we had an amazing holiday with no issues at all. Guru travel have been great throughout the whole process and I couldn’t recommend them enough!

Guru travel really went the extra mile for us, with Emily working until 12am to secure us tickets whilst we were stranded in Dubai as a result of flooding. Paul came across very genuine and helped us select the perfect honeymoon destination based on his vast experience.
