Lowered my total debt by 30% I couldn't be more grateful!

Well so far this is THE easiest and most appealing way to deal with a debt collector I’ve ever experienced. I responded to a text offer to agree to a payment plan in exchange for my debt being removed from my credit reports when paid off at a discounted rate. Their website was extremely user friendly and easy to navigate. I wish all debt collectors used these guys.

I will update this review when paid in full and the item is removed from my reports.

Note: I guess a debt collector sold this debt to another debt collector, so the entity agreeing to remove my debt from my reports is the first debt collector. I’m not sure if the original creditor will still keep their report up or not…It’s not clear to me whether the original creditor is part of the removal agreement or not.

You can choose your payment schedule, up to 24 payments, and they list out your chosen schedule before you click pay, so you can screenshot easily for your records. I didn’t have to talk to anyone on the phone, though you can if you wish. Screenshot the removal offer too! They also offer to discount the first payment by 25 percent…and that 25 percent amount becomes your last payment.

Whoever designed their user interface is very smart and talented.

They offered me some flexible payment options and gave me time to pay off my account.

Easy online options to settle my account, as well as a much lower amount to pay than the original balance, with affordable payments.

Honestly, this has been the best creditor to work with. Yeah I have had an issue where I submitted an extra payment before. However, they have gave me not only one, but two amazing offers on my accounts with them.

They made my payment super easy to set up and complete and actually gave me a big discount on what I owed. Not only that but I was given the option to pay in really small amounts if I wanted. I have dealt with many debt collectors over the years and the harassment has been intolerable. Halsted Financial has been professional , courteous and non threatening making it easier to work with them. I have very high anxiety and constant harassment causes nervous breakdowns so this change is refreshing and makes paying my debts easier.
