Disappointed
Ordered a VEGAN Christmas hamper for my daughter who has just moved to Australia. Initially impressed with the service although the hamper was quite pricey for the items that were going to be included, but purchased anyway as quick delivery was promised. Delivery was super quick and easy to track from the UK. Sadly though you can imagine how disappointed I was to discover that some items had been substituted which I understand can happen, but they were substituted with items that were not VEGAN. Completely ruined the gift! Contacted the company via their contact us form to ask for an explanation but have not received a response.
Have now received a very unsatisfactory response from Hampers Galore just saying âit appears we have substituted some itemsâ and offering a $10 credit off my next order. This is a pointless gesture as I would not order from them again as would not be confident of suitable products being delivered. This could have been a very serious issue if the recipient had food allergies! As it was it completely spoiled the gift and the âhamperâ which is just a cardboard box, is not value for money.
