We are passionate about biodynamic Tea as it ensures the garden is self sustaining, kind to animal and bird life and nurtures the soil. Our teas are packaged in compostable materials . The majority of our Teas come from well established tea gardens in Darjeeling, India which follow sustainable practices and produce high quality teas often unavailable in most tea growing areas. Darjeeling is a region in north east India from where the champagne of teas originate. Tea growing here is an art form and teas are hand picked and cared for from tree to pack. It is a privilege to be a part of this great eco system

Love this tea
I needed a stock up of tea and had tried Hampstead from a local shop. Upon visiting the website I found a great variety of teas to choose from! I placed my order and it was dispatched within 24 hours and delivered within 72 hours which I did not expect. Other orders from different companies recently have taken over a week to arrive with me so I was pleasantly surprised! Great range, beautiful packaging and fast delivery. What more can you ask for?

Great service, mediocre Darjeeling tea quality.
5 stars for delivery and freshness of the tea. As soon as I opened package I was hit by the wonderful fresh tea smell. I really appreciate that there is a batch number too. However, I was rather disappointed when I tasted the tea. Makabari tea garden was never known by their high quality teas. And was always amongst the cheapest teas as I remember. Unfortunately, this tea is missing that unique Darjeeling flavour that I am after. I wouldn't mind paying more for a better quality Darjeeling tea. I hope Hampstead Tea will offer a wider selection of Darjeeling teas in the near future.

Excellent tea.
Being an ethical vegan, this tea ticks all the boxes. It is fairtrade and organic. There is a wide choice of flavours.The order came promptly after I had ordered.
