It took me over 6 months to get them toâŠ
It took me over 6 months to get them to send me a "new" credit card reader - the one they finally sent me won't read chips and never asks for CID code. I believe it is intentional because they charge you more money if you type the numbers iin and also when there is not a CID entered - so we are forced to use the machine in the most expensive (profitable for them) way!!!

This has been the worst experience ever. To date 1/9/23 we have yet to receive the information needed off our old brain that crashed.. after finding out our system was not backed up for over a year. It is now the beginning of a new year and don't have the information off the other computer

This is the worst company you could ever do business with. Honestly. I switched because they promise me a $500 promotional bonus. I did everything I was supposed to and I never got it. Upon trying to retrieve it they told me that they didn't have to give it to me if they didn't want to and did not. I've never seen anything like this happen before period they said if I didn't like it to silhouette. No kidding. These people are monsters and I'm very shocked that the government allows them to do business . Do not trust this business. Also every card that has ever been swiped with them always gets their Info stolen

Horrible customer service. After being bounced from one rep to another five times to try and solve a problem, I get told it will need to be "escalated" to a higher tech level. That is harbertouch speak for, " we don't know what the hell we're doing. I get an official ticket number and told someone will call me back. That is a joke !!, Over the past several months I have been given at least a dozen " escalation ticket numbers" and never, and I mean never, has anyone called me back. I am having to start over with a new company.
Unsatisfactory
I needed a new cc terminal for my store - It took weeks to get and once we hooked it up it still doesn't really work. Can't read chip cards - we have to swipe or type the numbers in. Ironically Harbortouch makes more money off us that way. Hmmmm.

Horrible system problems my rep said to call him if any more problems arise. He stop taking my calls and told me to text only. Customer service rude shift 4 payments keeps billing you at a higher rate if you are not using there system they are fraudulent. I would give them a 0 run as fast as you can.
Another update
Another update! The owner of the bar I work at disconnected the POS system and is now using a regular cash register! Our contract is not up until October, but after the system crashed 4 times Friday night, with over an hour on the phone with CS each time he said to hell with it. The staff is celebrating.

Do Not Get This System!
My restaurant was solicited by Cassey Cisco an employee of Harbortouch in October 2021 to sign up for their system using a $500 promotional fee as an incentive. After 90 days of service, you get $500 no questions asked. We opened in January of 2022. I have been calling and emailing this company since April to release the $500 promo fee. Cassey is no where to be found and the reps insisted that Cassey is the ONLY ONE in the entire company that can release our funds. We were given her supervisors info C. Langer. I sent my 8th and 9th email to Langer and received a form approving the $500 pay out in June of 2022. It is August and I still haven't received the promised promotional funds. Now I was told to reach out to Nikole Torres and still nothing. I feel scammed and not valued as a customer. I would not have signed up without the promo deal as I was already with Clover. To make a false promise then give a full run around with very little to no communication back is disgusting. No one will return a call or personal email. I've sent 12!! I will be canceling them.

Don't ignore the bad reviews! While some people love this system, we had a nightmare starting on day one. We recently ordered their HBR (Harbortouch Bar & Restaurant) which they sell as their latest system. It was a nightmare from the day of installation. Countless hours on the phone with support and still can't get basic functions like sales tax to work correctly. Response from sales and management was barely existent and we returned the system. One star for the nice big screens - everything else was a mess.

We have been using Harbor touch in our pub for the last 4 years. We have had only a couple issues in that time ( all minor) Any issues have been resolved quickly and efficiently every time. We switched to HarborTouch for our other operation as well any have had the same experiance.
