Good quality engineered wood which I purchased for the whole house and a great price. Some issues with the delivery - just called up customer service (Robert) who kept in contact with updates. Really good experience and would definitely recommend.

Floor quality is ok, but we had an issue with the edging. They don’t offer a fitting service for their floors and our fitter was unfamiliar with the recommended edging. When trying to return hundreds of pounds worth of it, they flatly refused, even when escalated to their manager. We now have enough edging for a lounge and hallway, new condition, unopened and unable to be returned. We are also out of pocket even further, having had to source an alternative. Absolutely would not use them again due to poor, unaccommodating customer service.

great experience purchasing my floor. Rob helped me throughout the process amazingly. I even ordered the wrong floor and he helped me correct the situation without any issue, I would recommend dealing with Rob. The floors arrived today and look great

I have ordered Engineered Wood flooring and parquet flooring from the HFS. On the first occasion I dealt with Robyn and found her knowledgeable, helpful and very pleasant. I specifically asked for her on the second occasion - she is an absolute star!

Rob was fantastic from start to finish. I was unsure on buying flooring from online but Rob immediately sent me out samples-delivered the very next day. I decided I loved the quality of the samples and ordered the flooring.I would also like to comment on how competitively priced the flooring was! This was delivered next day and we cannot get over how fantastic the quality is after having karndean the top spec range for years I only wish I had of known of Hardwoodflooring online before. I will most definitely be back for more when we renovate the next house. Thank-you !

We have had a terrible experience with both the wood supplied by Hardwood Floor Store and the customer service received by them. I would strongly advise against buying with them.

We chose Parky wood for most of our new house. After already laying the majority of the floor, our fitter noticed that when natural light shines on the wood, many shiny patches became visible on what was a matt-effect flooring. After a plethora of phone calls and emails to the company it was admitted that we had been given a faulty batch and our wood had patches of shiny varnish throughout it, which should not have been present. Since it had already been laid, hardwood floor store were unable to do anything to help us at all with this. Eventually they said the manufacturer of the wood had offered to replace the individual affected planks, but this was not much help to us - after just flooring a whole house, it was not as simple as replacing individual planks, and the whole floor would need removed (probably leading to breakage of many planks) and refitted.

We accepted that nothing else could be done as the shiny patches should have been noticed before the floor was laid. However, after only two weeks of light wear on the floor without shoes, the floor was chipping and marking in many places including in the middle of planks. We also noticed it was incredibly difficult to clean and maintain, as even wiping the floor with a damp cloth and drying it leads to the floor looking like it has shiny patches. The floor marks so easily even slippers cannot be worn on it. Any drip of water on the floor leads to staining.

We had already reached out to Hardwood Floor Store on several occasions for advice on this, with very little response. At this point we decided to write a formal complaint. There was no response for several weeks, at which point we had to follow up again. We were told a pencil test had been performed on our batch of wood and it was fine. Eventually a phone call was received by Steven. We were told by him that we were unable to be given any form of refund because the floor had already been laid and "it wouldn't be good for the company". Obviously customer service is not in this company's best interests. He said he would contact Parky directly to try to reach a resolution, but nothing has been done.

It is understandable that the defects, i.e. the shiny patches, should have been detected before fitting, so not a lot could be done by Hardwood Floor Store. However, after using the floor for only a couple of weeks it became very obvious that the issues were not only cosmetic, but the flooring actually was not fit for purpose. It should not be expected that we would be able to detect that the flooring was going to damage so easily upon use on the initial inspection before laying.

This poor quality should not be the case with a supposedly "engineered wood flooring", which it obviously is not due to being composed of only one very flimsy layer of plywood rather than multiple layers under the thin hardwood layer. I am very disappointed with the lack of customer service to help with the issues we have had with this wood.

We had a very positive experience with this company. We ordered 15sqm of engineered oak flooring to go into a newly built room, which came at a very good price and arrived not long after being ordered. It was very easily installed by our joiner, however the rather poor architectural drawings for the room came up about 2 sqm short on the total floor area (which we shall be having words with the architects about...). We put in an order for additional packs of flooring, on an urgent basis and they arrived the very next day before noon. Excellent service, and a very good product!

Ashleigh was extremely helpful - I received a quick courtesy call after placing a sample order. At the time I wasn't ready to order but a few weeks later the builder had provided the m2 and Ashleigh helped with the quotation and full order process. Thanks for making the purchase process extremely easy.

Searched for Kahrs Maple engineered wood flooring sales availability. Called up Hardwood floor store. The response was very clear and informative. Readiness to make deal and very helpful in finding solutions. Great service.

We used the Plusfloor Maverick Vinyl with integrated underlay. The product, according to my contractor was a "delight to lay". It looks superb. Many thanks to the Plusfloor team for their invaluable help, support and advice.

Only gave 4* as I haven’t actually bought or received a flooring from this company yet. However my experience with them have been great. Robyn was really helpful and communicated with me well. Not too much like some other companies and was reactive with samples. Thank you.

Exceptional customer service. Very impressed with HFS - competitive prices, great products and outstanding customer service. I was lucky enough to deal with Ashleigh, who was amazing from start to finish. I'm not a DIY expert, but she patiently talked me though my options, kindly honoured an earlier quote after the price had risen, and was on-hand to help when I needed to rearrange delivery. I wouldn’t have had the confidence to purchase without Ashleigh's support, and having now seen the end product, I couldn’t be happier.

The sales rep Robert Madden was knowledgable and very helpful in discussing the best solution for our large order of wooden floors. The Parky walnut floor that we bought is made in sustainable way, easy to install and turned out very nice in combination with our grey kitchen and white walls.

Robyn has been absolutely excellent from the helpful advice given, samples sent, and allowing us to reserve stock for a small deposit. At a time when many companies are putting prices up or not able to supply due to stock shortages, this has been very reassuring. We wont have the stock for a few weeks but I will update my comments after that. I can't fault the service from Robyn - she has been a delight to deal with !

From start to finish the service we received was faultless. Robyn said she would send us some samples and the next day 4 arrived. We couldn’t believe how efficient they were.
We chose our flooring accordingly and within days the flooring was ready to collect. The flooring itself is great quality and our fitters laid it without a problem. The finished product is exactly what we wanted and we couldn’t be happier with the finish.
I would 100% recommend again.
