Amazing results but tough recovery…

Amazing results but tough recovery period.
I had chin and abdomen flanks and lower back Vaser lipo by Dr Fasano and was very pleased with the results after 6 weeks.

The clinic was caring and I always managed to get hold of someone when I need to and they called me back regularly after the operation to ensure I was doing well.

The downside is that the two weeks after the operation are hard. The pain is tolerable but all the symptoms happening together are difficult to manage. Having another supportive adult with you on the first week is an absolute must in my opinion. I also had an infection during that time for which I had to go to A&E but it was solved the same day after I was given antibiotics injection.

The full recovery is a long process and needs patience and commitment; as those lymphatic massages are an absolute must! Find someone close to your address and who is flexible and gentle. Manual massage is the best (leave the machines for when you’re feeling well). Keeping clean on the first few days is the hardest thing, but do your best. It’s not for the faint hearted.

I had a 360 vaser-lipo procedure with Dr Leo in November and my GOD! I look amazing, first of all, but honestly, the whole process from start to finish was amazing.

Even before I met the Dr. Inga, who was my patient consultant was so friendly and accommodating. When I finally met the Dr., I knew within the first 5 minutes I wanted to have my procedure with him. He explained everything to me in detail, made me feel at ease and on the day of the surgery, did his best to put me at ease. Everyone at Kat and Co in Birmingham was also friendly and welcoming and did I mention the results?? This was the best decision I ever made and Dr Leo is one of the best in the game! Thank you x

My experience of breast augmentation

After many years of having no self confidence I finally made the decision to have breast augmentation. I was really quite nervous and started some research. The turning point for me was having the initial telephone consultation with Laila. She explained everything so thoroughly and put me so much at ease I knew I had made the right decision.
There were a few changes to the appointments times and dates before the surgery but the team were aware I lived a few hours away from the London Clinic and I felt well informed and involved in rearranging or altering these so that I didn’t face any unnecessary travel. The appointments were carried out very efficiently and I had full confidence in the team.

Despite a relatively short consultation with Dr George Samouris, I felt that he instantly knew what was right for me and the size was absolutely perfect to what I had hoped for. I had AA cups and I wanted to go bigger but not to the point where it impacted me running and going to the gym. He explained exactly what would work best for me and I went for 275cc implants.

Being quite a worrier I had a few questions in the weeks leading up to the surgery and Laila always answered me swiftly and reassuringly. I felt very well prepared with the information I was given and her advice.

On the day of the surgery I felt very looked after. I was extremely nervous as I’d never had any surgery before and so I regret not remembering the names of everyone in the team, but everyone I met at the clinic that day were caring, reassuring and very professional. Dr Samouris also put me at ease with his confidence and politeness.

I felt so well looked after and when I was about to leave had a little bit of a issue with a near fainting in the reception, but they whisked me back to the room and checked me over thoroughly. I felt a bit embarrassed as I think it was more in my head but they didn’t make me feel I was any trouble and checked I was feeling a lot more comfortable before letting me leave.

I stayed locally in a hotel that evening and received calls to check how things were.

A week later I travelled back for the post op check and again felt very reassured by the nurse and I didn’t need any further appointment. She took the time to answer all of my questions and was absolutely lovely.

My recovery has gone very well in the last 6 months and I am incredibly happy with the results.

I found there was a lot of information online when I was researching, some of it confusing and conflicting, but HMG provided clear information and a wonderful team to talk to when I was feeling worried or unsure.

My only regret was not making the decision to do this years ago.

I would strongly recommend HMG to anyone who is considering breast augmentation.

Ioana the best nurse and aftercare!

I had a tummy tuck surgery at Harley, the procedure was worth every penny for my peace and mental health. However, the patient coordinator did not follow up with me after the surgery, no communication what so ever even right now, it's been 2 months. I have not seen my surgeon for a follow up nor have I been contacted. I am very disappointed at this point from the service, surgery is expensive and you expect a certain level of service.

Ioana the nurse at Harley Medical in Maidenhead, she is FANTASTIC! she shows a great amount of empathy, very considerate, knowledgeable and experienced was made to feel comfortable and relaxed, she is the best nurse I have ever met in my entire life. She is very professional and knows what she is doing. If it wasn't for her, I would have been very upset from the service but she exceeded expectations, absolute star!

Just avoid this company and pay extra to go somewhere else

Honestly, it was crap from start to finish. The customer service is all over the place no one communicates with each other properly and if you tried to ring the Maidenhead clinic it says the phone number isn't in service. On the day of my surgery my partner wasn't allowed in due to COVID rules (this was in August 2023) but the theatre staff are allowed to leave the building in there scrubs and go to the shop!? I should have trusted my gut paid abit more and gone with someone else my surgery should have been straight forward, I also got phlebitis from the cannula which I've never experienced before and was very painful. The surgeon missed judge the size and the implants he put in alot smaller than I wanted. The first time I looked in the mirror I just cried I've lost all self- confidence the surgeon saw me a few weeks later and I told him how unhappy I was. He told me to wait till my next appointment to see how I felt. I was then booked in to have this reviewed in December they cancelled my appointment and then sent me a reminder saying it was still on. I called but of course couldn't get through because I never can. I have now not been able to get an appointment till end of February but have to go to the London clinic as he no longer does maidenhead which will take me 2.5 hours on a train and I will have to take a day off work. Avoid this company! This has been such a traumatic experience and has had an effect on my mental health.

Dishonest and poor results

After years of issues with Harley medical due to negligence I registered a further complaint.

To summarise, I paid for gynecomastia and following the surgery I was concerned with the results. They then offered me revision surgery which I accepted however the results were still poor.

After years of arguing, I ended up paying for the surgery again with another surgeon in Birmingham. This surgery revealed that Harley medical had never removed the glands! Despite two operations.

I have provided Harley medical with evidence of this and they refuse to take accountability.

Following years of complaints and back and forth with this joke of a company I have now received a final response advising that they actually went into liquidation and were bought out by another company.

Despite this, they continue to trade under the name Harley Medical Group however the liquidation means that they can worm out of any legal proceedings/complaints/compensation.

Please do not put your health in the hands of this company. I can provide evidence for the above statement and I have reported them to the governing body along with the quality care commission.

Avoid this company at all costs.

I had a breast enlargement with Harley medical 10 year ago, they was so great. Never had an issues, my boobs are so natural I had no regrets. Recommended them to two of my friends which also had them do with Harley medical and again look natural and no issues.

I went back in 2022 wanting a tummy tuck after having 2 children, my skin was hanging “apron” I felt I was loosing weight but not on my belly. I knew I needed surgery. Looked at Turkey but felt anxious with horror stories and big operations abroad so I paid the extra money and said, I want to go back to Harley med.

THANK GOD I DID! :-)

I felt comfortable straight away with my surgeon, so down to earth and friendly. He explained everything in detail, he offered for me to go back again if I wanted to. It was just smooth sailing, Adele the nurse is fantastic feel like a friend towards to end. She was just so understanding, helpful and really knowledgeable. I had my tummy tuck and 2 areas of liposuction at Birmingham private hospital. It’s beautiful like a big house, the staff was again excellent, so relaxed so friendly, so professional. the morning of my operation I was just excited to get it done and had all the confidence in Sandip Hindocha.

My recovery was so smooth, I never felt in agony I just felt tight like a c section. I had help at home and took it steady but feel ok on just paracetamol after 10 days.

My scar is like a pencil and it’s changed my life.

Because of Sandip Hindocha work, I feel on top of the world, my confidence is back, I am back wearing clothes I find fashionable, I don’t feel groovy or in over sized jumpers. I just feel 28 again!
I was a size 12/14 in clothes 10 weeks ago, I am now a 10.

I LOVE my body and it’s so worth every penny.

Will be going elsewhere for my procedure

Went for an initial consultation. Katie could not have made me feel more unwelcome. She was incredibly condescending (her colleague on the other hand was kind and helpful). It’s not professional to laugh at a patients questions or stare at them while they fill out forms. I’ve never had such a bad experience on Harley Street. They should know better than to hire people like Katie who clearly needs more training in how to speak to people respectfully.

Had a great experience with Harley…

Had a great experience with Harley Medical from beginning to end, including the initial consultations. Everything was made very clear about the surgery I had, the cost, who my surgeon was, and answered my many many questions very quickly and professional. A special shout-out to Jazzmeen who was my nurse after the surgery for all my appointments who is very professional, attentive and addressed all my concerns and certainly went above and beyond to demonstrate empathy and reassure me. Enlargement

"Well, now that we are done with the kids, I want my boobs back" is what my wife said. I was a bit taken back as I thought her breasts were amazing but she made a few valid points. We did some research and 4 weeks later Dr Alamouti waved us out of his surgery. After a short healing time the visial difference was phenomenal but what it did for Marisa's state of mind I will never be able to thank the Doctor enough for. Her confidence was instantly up and she has been glowing ever since . An improvement I would never have believed unless I had seen it myself. Fantastic doctors and great care, would recommend Harley Medical group over and over.

Jan 2023 I had my Tummy Tuck

Jan 2023 I had my Tummy Tuck, lipo & vasor from George from HMG, at Harley Street, everything went as planned, George answered all my questions, I was taken care off the lovely nurses.
All my post - ops was with Ioanna at the maidenhead clinic she was abousltey amazing, and professional, she changed all my dressing, gave me lots of tips how to keep clean etc... in general a lovely person. Iam now 9 months post op and I can't stress how happy iam with my tummy, I would like to thank everyone at London Harley Street.

Breast augmentation, my overall experience

I’ve recently had breast augmentation with the Harley Medical group and I am not dissatisfied. I was very skeptical due to the reviews I’d read but my personal experience went very smoothly. I had my surgery with Dr George Samouris which so far my results have been amazing (I’m over 3 months post op). The Harley Medical kept all of my appointments safe and there was not a long wait time at all. I was guided through the process very well and was always given details of every appointment I’d have just to allow myself to recap anything I misunderstood.

I want to specifically mention Inga the patient advisor and Jazzmeen the clinical lead nurse. My first appointment was with Inga and she helped me reached an understanding of everything about breast augmentation and was so lovely - together we agreed on the best Surgeon for myself. She listened to me, didn’t rush me, and made me feel comfortable with no obligations. Jazzmeen has been the nurse I have been dealing with regarding the medical side, the pre-op and post-op appointments etc. She is honestly amazing and made me feel so comfortable with my concerns before and after surgery. I used the out of hours line after my surgery a couple of times (I was in a lot of pain and was worried at the time) and Jazzmeen was there to speak to even in the early AM throughout the night.

Overall my experience with the Harley medical group has been incredibly reassuring and smooth. I’m really glad I trusted this place with my gut instinct. (Even more glad I’ve now got boobies after waiting 21 years)

Where do I start

Where do I start, 13 years of a lumpy, bumpy nose bridge, hanging columella, bulbous tip, collapsing on one side. Now I cannot breathe through, have to sleep in other room to my husband due to my snoring, nosebleeds most days, anxiety meds from this process, emails sent to HMG with my dissatisfaction ignored through the years. I had my rhinoplasty in 2010 through HMG in London initially going to the Bristol office to have consultations.
Surgeon was completely disinterested.
On the day I was rushed into theatre, no bedside manner. When wheeled into my room there were screams most of the night from people in pain.
As my nose length and tip was causing me upset, I was told my tip would reduce in size automatically once swelling went down, so no need to get tip done, my tip is long and disproportionate to my calved out bridge now.
I am looking into getting nose corrected by have been quoted £10+ to revise, why should I have to do this!
Please respond as this is getting worse.
