GO ELSEWHERE

I thought I was going to the best clinic when I chose The Harley Medical Group. How wrong I was- Don't let their prestigious name fool you. They are all over you as a new client, but as soon as there is a problem they are terrible. Email replies take days, you have to chase, and even then they don't seem to care. I have 2 ruptured implants and am in pain and can't even get them to call me back. Do yourself a favour and look somewhere else.

Unorganised, unresponsive and unprofessional

I had a breast augmentation with Harley Medical and Dr George Samouris on 7th May 2025, and regret my choice in the clinic.

I had my initial consultations with the Patient Coordinator (PC) in March 2025 after having consultations elsewhere and feeling unnerved. My concerns were answered and I felt confident in Harley Medical and the level of service they spoke of. I asked about the company liquidation and she explained that they had been bought out with funding going into a new hospital (whether any of it is actually true??). I was under the impression that they had been up and running for a while, so I paid £250 to have a surgeon consult. Payment was taken by a bank transfer which felt slightly off but tried to trust the process.

2nd consult happened and Dr George was really insightful and I decided to book in and pay an additional £525 deposit. My surgery date was booked in for 07/05.

All of a week later I had calls from Harley medical asking me to confirm the date I had booked in - a little unnerving as you think that the practice you've paid just short of 1k would know the date. I received no confirmation for the payments or the date.

From this point onwards it was almost always a different person contacting me and impossible to get hold of the same person twice. In my initial consultation I was offered a 12 month 0% interest payment plan. Someone called me after my deposit and said my 10 month agreement was ready to be signed? There was no consistency, horrendously unorganised, and impossible to contact. The PC stopped responding to emails, I was not given any other contact) and the phone numbers go to a call centre in Scotland which is dealing with Skin Clinic and they can't contact the London practice.

I got emails changing my pre op on the day, whilst travelling up, all while still being ignored on my other emails about the finance and dates. The appointment went well with Andrea who turned out to be my godsend the entire process. She went above and beyond and I cannot thank her enough - without her it would be have been unbearable.

I had to chase from 09/04/25 multiple times a week to 23/04/2025 when I finally got a response. I called Harley Medical numerous times, eventually got told that I was getting answers sent, and then had to chase when they were not. I was told I was getting sent pre-op info - again still chasing until 02/05 (5 DAYS before my surgery) when I finally received key information. The PC was off sick at some point during this time, however they had no alternative communication routes or anyone who knew what was going on which was very unprofessional. If I was not that deep into the process, I would have not continued.

6th May, 1 day before my surgery. Pre-op phone call due 24-48 hours before your surgery. 2:45pm, still no call. Had to email AGAIN and contact Andrea as she was the only consistent contact, who sorted it.

7th May 2025 - surgery day. Slight delay but nothing unexpected. The staff at the hospital were lovely and so helpful. HOWEVER, I get told I am Harley Medical's first surgery back?? Hours before my surgery?? This is the first time I was told this and it made me incredibly nervous.

Surgery went well, Dr George was lovely I can't fault him, we confirmed my choices and felt okay after. Discharged after a couple of hours, late at night. Harley Medical told me that I would be given an out of hours number to contact post-op if anything was wrong. I was not given this and had to send my partner back at 11pm to ask the hospital staff whilst I am in the car immobile. Staff did not have it, so again tried to contact Harley Medical, impossible, so we had to accept it and head home knowing I only had 999 to contact if I needed.

2 days post op I get an email saying that I need to pay the entire balance of my surgery when I have a finance agreement in place.? Shock, no one answers the phone so I am panicking whilst trying to recover and have to contact Andrea to chase to get an answer. Eventually gets sorted but still, you expect premium service, pay for it and get that?

In terms of the rest of the post op care, after a week you’re essentially on your own. After my nurse appointment they could not confirm the date of my surgeon post op and said they would contact me. I had to chase them for a good couple weeks to get it booked, which they then cancelled and rearranged as a zoom call. Final post op was a 30 second call to say ‘all good’ that they were 25 mins late for and that was it. Luckily I am happy with my results and have no problems (so far!)

Harley Medical was disorganised, uncommunicative, and completely unprofessional throughout my journey, causing unnecessary stress before and after surgery. If you value your money and want a reliable clinic who answers the phone or an email - I recommend you look elsewhere. Thank you again to Andrea for being an angel.

My rhinoplasty in 2017

My rhinoplasty in 2017, at Highgate Hospital, London, did not reflect the outcome I had requested. Additionally, during the follow-up appointment, I expressed concern that the intended goal of achieving nasal symmetry had not been met. In response, the surgeon remarked, "Well, no one has perfect facial symmetry, right?" - a comment that effectively acknowledged he had not addressed the objective of the procedure.

Botched. Lip filler did not dissolve (6 years later)

I had lip filler treatment in 2019 with Rebecca Warrant, and from the moment I looked in the mirror within the clinic, I noticed my lips were uneven. I was told to wait for the swelling to subside, but here we are in 2025, and the unevenness remains. When I raised my concerns, I was informed that the clinic had gone into liquidation and was offered the option to pay again at a partner clinic called Skin for corrective work. I refused to pay for another treatment, especially since I had no issues with unevenness before the procedure. I now discover that despite my complaint and others she has become the manager. Despite being told the clinic had closed, it seems to be operating again—along with numerous negative reviews. The Juvederm she injected never fully dissolved, despite assurances that it would. I've compared childhood and adult photos, and there was no unevenness before the treatment.

Now, I’m left with a botched result and forced to pay for corrective work elsewhere. I waited 6 years and can now say with full confidence it does not fully dissolve. I strongly advise anyone considering this clinic to proceed with caution. They take no responsibility for their work, and it’s clear they prioritize profit over customer care. Furthermore there is now research documenting such cases of botched treatments, migration of lip fillers, and even studies using facial scans that clearly show fillers are still present many years later. I am so grateful for that research because too many practitioners deny this being the case, too many go on to exploit clients by making them pay again to dissolve their work. It's also worth mentioning that many doctors and nurses will not dissolve someone else's work but will refill or top you up, very problematic.

Would rate this 0 if I could

Would rate this 0 if I could. Constant back and forth to schedule in a meeting and twice was told I would get a call for a consultation and both times the clinic did not ring. I followed up with my mobile number in advance to ensure they had it. I then haven’t had a response in over a week, after I messaged 10 mins into the original appointment. If they can’t get this first step right then I wouldn’t be comfortable going here! Unprofessional’n

Avoid them!!!!

Avoid!! Dr.George botched my surgery and aftercare two years ago and I’m having to pay for a second surgery as they refused to take responsibility. I was discharged from surgery two hours after being forcefully woken up with nothing more than paracetamol after having my chest muscles torn open 😂💀 my biggest regret to date.

Was pushed go pay over £9000 for breast…

Was pushed go pay over £9000 for breast surgery to get a email 26 days later after payment made to day they are no longer trading! I was due to have the surgery in 4 weeks. Found it very odd that even after paying a deposit I was pushed to pay the rest of the full amount u want my money back terrible company

Marvellous Marion - aftercare superstar

I feel like another review is deserved here to specifically capture how absolutely world class the after care has been since my augmentation and mastopexy.

Marion - you are probably one of the loveliest nurses there is! So professional, warm, reassuring, attentive, kind and accommodating - I have never felt in such good hands.

I really am so grateful to you more everytime I see you! You make me feel so at ease and have absolutely topped off my whole experience with Harley Medical.

A few friends were asking if I would recommend Harley Medical Group and I said yes but let’s see the aftercare element too and it’s exceeded all my hopes.

I would come back time and time again. Thank you for making my whole experience so amazing. You’ve all given me a big part of myself back and I’m so grateful.

Dr Fasano changed my life

I recently had a Vaser liposuction procedure with Dr Leonardo Fasano, and my experience was outstanding. The staff was professional, attentive, and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. The facility was clean and well-equipped, which added to my confidence. The procedure itself was smooth, and the surgeon was highly skilled, providing clear explanations and good care. Post-operative support was fantastic, with detailed instructions and prompt responses to my queries. Overall, I am thrilled with the results and the exceptional service I received. I highly recommend Dr Fasano for anyone considering Vaser liposuction.

Wish I had the full picture for Rhinoplasty

I had a rhinoplasty with Harley Medical Group a year ago and have waited this time to see the final results.

While I am pleased with the correction from my side profile, I would urge you to consider the impact this has on your appearance from the front. I was happy with my front profile before and asked my surgeon if this will stay the same or my nose bridge will look broader with the changes. He reassured me it will look the same from the front so unless I wanted the front changing, there is no point making additional changes other than correcting the hump on the bridge.

I do look different from the front, maybe not so noticeably to others, but my nose appears much broader and there are visible lumps down the side that were maybe not visible before. This was my concern prior and I’d managed to find lots of before and after photos showing the side profile but not front on, which would have been really useful to understand how the whole look changes. I’m pleased to have a straight nose from the side but question whether it’s worth the trade in for the new wider shape. I still haven’t got used to the new look from the front and have resorted to contour to try and make it look slimmer again.

During the process leading up to and following my surgery there were lots of admin errors mainly with not receiving things they said would be sent, a change in my patient advisor and differing information from them on the process I needed to follow. For one appointment in particular I had to wait an hour in the waiting room then was rushed in to see my surgeon and had the appointment without a notetaker as I couldn’t stay much longer. I was keen to get to my surgery so let these things go, but looking back I think it’s so important you’re given time for these things, and there’s no excuse for all the disorganisation with the price you pay.

I think more mention and information on the impact that changing the side profile has on the front in the pre-surgery consultations, and better organisation, would help give people a better experience in future so hope my review is helpful.

Went above and beyond

The care and attention I received since the first phone call has been truely amazing I can’t thank Jazzmeen Quizon enough she really has been truely amazing, with all the information she has shared with me but also she went above and beyond I had issues with my doctors and my medical records and Jazzmeen really did do everything she could to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible she is a very kind and caring nurse and filled me with confidence with the knowledge of the procedure, the after care and even when I had my little worries she was there to answer any questions I had, I really can’t rave about Jazzmeen she is a huge credit to Harley street medical

Dr Fasano changed my life! Perfection is real!

Dr Fasano changed my life - how do I summarise that? I've worked in the industry and met many surgeons in my time. I've even been told the results I'd wanted were not achievable. However, Dr Fasano is known for REALLY giving the patient the result they want. He listens, he advises and he does precisely what you asked for. My expectations were exceeded. If you want the results boasted about in other countries done safely here in your home country then Dr Fasano is a rare diamond. I have never in my life loved my body this much and for that, I thank him and highly recommend him to everyone!! Big shout out to Jazzmeen and the rest of his team - PLATINUM class from beginning to end. xxxxx

Such a positive experience! Changed my life.

From the initial consultation through to the 6 week post-op check, I could not have asked for more. My initial consultation, Sophie was a dream. She answered any questions as silly as they were and she was so helpful with all my pre-op queries. I booked, paid for and organised my surgery within a few weeks so I didn’t really have time to over think anything. On the day, the clinic was super clean and quiet. I was talked through everything with the nurses and George, my surgeon and eventually the anaesthetist. When I came round, super friendly nurses were there immediately making sure I was comfortable and that I was able to get to my phone to contact my husband. The whole night I was checked on by nurses, consultants and my surgeon. I was supported and encouraged to go to the toilet myself as soon as I could and rectified an issues with my leg massager immediately. The pain medication was explained to me so it was easy to understand (there actually wasn’t a lot to take and I was off ibuprofen only a few days after!). The nurse I had on my 2 week check up was amazing, gentle and reassuring. I used the out of hours line once when needed and they were great. My 6 week check up couldn’t be done in Birmingham which wasn’t ideal, but a short trip to London was all that was needed and being able to tell George that he legit has changed my life was nice. He answered all my questions going forward recovery wise and told me I could video call him at any point in the next 12 months if needed. Honestly, from start to finish I have had an amazing experience and I would do it all 10x over with Harley Medical if I needed to.

Amazing results but tough recovery…

Amazing results but tough recovery period.
I had chin and abdomen flanks and lower back Vaser lipo by Dr Fasano and was very pleased with the results after 6 weeks.

The clinic was caring and I always managed to get hold of someone when I need to and they called me back regularly after the operation to ensure I was doing well.

The downside is that the two weeks after the operation are hard. The pain is tolerable but all the symptoms happening together are difficult to manage. Having another supportive adult with you on the first week is an absolute must in my opinion. I also had an infection during that time for which I had to go to A&E but it was solved the same day after I was given antibiotics injection.

The full recovery is a long process and needs patience and commitment; as those lymphatic massages are an absolute must! Find someone close to your address and who is flexible and gentle. Manual massage is the best (leave the machines for when you’re feeling well). Keeping clean on the first few days is the hardest thing, but do your best. It’s not for the faint hearted.

I had a 360 vaser-lipo procedure with…

I had a 360 vaser-lipo procedure with Dr Leo in November and my GOD! I look amazing, first of all, but honestly, the whole process from start to finish was amazing.

Even before I met the Dr. Inga, who was my patient consultant was so friendly and accommodating. When I finally met the Dr., I knew within the first 5 minutes I wanted to have my procedure with him. He explained everything to me in detail, made me feel at ease and on the day of the surgery, did his best to put me at ease. Everyone at Kat and Co in Birmingham was also friendly and welcoming and did I mention the results?? This was the best decision I ever made and Dr Leo is one of the best in the game! Thank you x
