I was recommended Matt Lee by a relative and wasn’t disappointed. My husband and myself wanted to make fresh wills and Lasting Power of Attorney. He came to our home which was fantastic as my husband is housebound. He explained everything to us and the process went smoothly, he was very patient and nothing was too much trouble.
I have no hesitation in recommending him or Harold Stock & Co, if ever I had to phone I found the staff very friendly and always forwarded my messages on.

The compensation claim for the death of my partner was handled efficiently and the outcome was better than expected, it is a sensitive matter and one that Harold Stock handled good

As a long standing networking connection of Darren McGuinness, I used Harold Stock's excellent conveyancing team in Mossley to sell my property. Working with Lindsay Muller was great! Lindsay is professional, friendly and really knows her stuff! The service she provided was absolutely top-notch. Nothing was too much trouble and she was accessible and efficient at every stage. She kept the buyer's solicitors informed and chased when she needed to. Liaising with the estate agent, they managed to get the sale over the line within 10 weeks of sale agreed. Phenomenal, especially as the buyer wanted to be in by Christmas! I would 100% recommend Lindsay and Harold Stock & Co. In fact. Lindsay is now working on the sale of my partner's property and our subsequent purchase.

Darren McGuinness explained what the work undertaken would involve at the outset. I was kept up to date throughout and my questions were answered promptly. I would use this solicitors again and I would recommend them to family, friends and colleagues.

A relatively simple (yet delicate) domestic matter resulted in 9 months of wasted time thanks to Darren McGuinness and his colleague Richard. After months and months of chasing and updates requested, nothing happened - I finally had enough of being lied to and fobbed off - I had no option but to fire him. I allowed more than a week before leaving this review, he didnt even have the decency to apologise. I was recommended this firm by a very good friend at Cobden House Chambers and THIS was the resulting care I was given. If this is how they behave when recommended, I dread to think the care they would give to just anyone hoping for legal help. I recommend you search elsewhere for a reputable solicitor.

Harold Stock solicitors guided us through the procedure related to our case, they answered any queries quickly and concisely and I would recommend them and certainly use them again myself.

Nicola Bray understood what I wanted regarding making my new will and guided me through in a simple and easy way. The draft documents were ready within a few days. A short visit to the office and documents signed. Nicola dealt with registering my will and I have now received the certificate and a copy of my will, with Harold Stock & Co retaining the original copy. Excellent service and all achieved in two weeks.

Matt made it very easy to write my will, explained everything in simple terms. Suggested things for me to think about going forward.
