I was very disappointed with the quality of the clothing when I received it not to mention the customer service kept on stringing me a long with lies saying the order is coming soon. It took about 3 weeks to arrive. When I received the clothing it looked nothing like the quality shown in the photos. The sizes were weird like shorter sleeves and each one fit differently, fabric was thin and stitching was poor. The was definitely cheaply sewn together and the fabric had a strong chemical smell. There were no labels stitched on the garments, which by law they must show where the product is made in and have care instructions and fiber content, which there were none to be found. They tried to offer me discounts and started with extra 20% off and keep the clothing and I refused, then offered 50% off and I still didn't want it. I reported them to my credit card company. I mentioned that I should not have to pay for shipping costs of over $30 + to ship back clothing that is of poor quality and deceiving. Harper and Lane sent me a new US address to ship merchandise back and mentioned they will provide a full refund. I still have this order on dispute until I see a full refund posted on my account. Buyer BEWARE!!!!

The WORST. Their idea of easy returns is a costly -at your expense - postal return to China. Better to just donate your substandard purchase to Goodwill. Poor products, dreadful customer service. Do not purchase from this vendor.

This was the weirdest experience with a company, bar none. The items took a few weeks to arrive and when it did, it was not satisfactory. The material was cheap, it was too small (I always wear a large, and IO couldn't close the front in the bust), so I decided to return it. The customer service was like trading in flea market - 20% return, 50% return, and they asked me to send a picture of what was wrong... Not what I'm used to with other online vendors. I finally wrote them that they were losing a customer and I expected a 100% refund. I have yet to receive any communication about the return, so we'll see. What a runaround...

Harper and Lane clothes. The clothes are made very cheaply. Very stiff and not as described on their web page. The return policy is extremely short. Customer service will not allow for any exceptions regarding returns.

Impossible to return - and the clothing is crap
I ordered a shirt and it was not even close to what was described or pictured. Super cheap fabric, blurred colors, etc. Terrible! I followed the directions to send an email requesting a return authorization. No answer. I have now sent 4 emails over the last few weeks requesting a return, and I have subsequently timed out on their return policy! totally unacceptable. never again.

Everything went wrong with this company. It took a very long time to get my order. The two tops I ordered were nothing as described on website and expensive compared to simular items from Amazon. I am still in the middle of trying to get a refund. With every email I send to get a return started they send me an Ai reply. There has been four now. First they offered to let me exchange. Second they offered me a discount on my next order. Third they offered me 50% return and I could keep the items. Fourth they said It would cost thirty dollars to send back and gave me an address in China. My last email I told them it was false advertising and I wanted a full refund with no shipping return costs. We'll see what happens. I thought Harper and Lane were a long time reputable business selling high quality women's clothing. So far I'm out $110 dollars. I wish I could post a picture here to show how bad my order is.

The quality poor - they don't honor their return policies
The quality poor. Reached back to them day after getting order and they are giving every excused for not allowing me to return and get refund. Their web page clearly states that returns are allowed with in 30 days of receiving and if not used and in original package. Dress not used as the fit is horrible, in its original package and reached out to them 1 day after receiving.

Really less than a 1 star. I wish I had did my homework. Was sent the wrong dress that looked like it came from goodwill. Horrible. I sent picture as asked, then was told I could keep the dress for a partial return- said no, then was told could get back a full return if I sent it back to China, said no. Was given an address in CA. Sent to there 9/22 for $11. Have contacted them several times with USPS tracking #. Still nothing.
They should not be in business. So out $54+ and $11 shipping. Crooks. I have learned a cruel lesson! Should have been sent a shipping label immediately when the wrong dress was sent and a full refund!

What I ordered and what I received were two different things. They have this scam mastered. The clothing pictures and initial reviews that you see are motivating. However, the product received looks nothing like the item promoted. I wish that I could post pictures. They communicate with you by email. The return fee is exorbitant. In lieu of that, they offer you a "remake" of the product for another $30 or so to cover shipping. We settled on a 70% refund to my PayPal account, which I never received. Thank God, I was able to get a refund through Paypal given my account structure.

Oh boy! Looks like I'm out $90. 2 pairs of shoes...way too small and very cheap! Not even worth $2. Took a month to get.... I should have looked at reviews first. Sent pics they asked for but after reading these reviews it looks like this is a real scam and I'll never get my money back. Stay away!
THE WEBSITE NO LONGER EXISTS
Would give zero stars if possible. I ordered shoes on October 5, 2025. On October 13 I got a email saying they would be here by October 17. The shoes should have been here by now. The website I ordered from and the tracking number no longer exist. How much money is this company scamming from people, I wonder.

I would give 0 stars if I could. These guys lie about their 30 day return policy. They jerk you around asking for photos and details of what you don't like about the items and won't give you information to do the return. DO NOT USE THEM EVER! UNLESS YOU WANT TO LOSE YOUR MONEY.
