I have not had good experience with the software, it is basically buggy addon to excell (you will need windows computer and excel package to start with). Even if you done estimating for years don't expect this will make your life easier, I have given up somewhere along the steep learning curve having paid £1300 for it. If you struggle they will offer paid sessions, which may be just good money after bad investment

We are sorry to hear that you haven't been happy with EstimatorXpress.
The software is regularly updated to keep up to date with the Microsoft updates that have taken place.
It doesn't look like we've had much contact in the last few years with yourself, during which time there has been further advancements to the software including a brand new plug-in for EstimatorXpress called Quick Quote which makes estimating with the software even easier.
We have a wide range of free support resources available to support you as a customer which can be accessed here: https://help.hbxl.co.uk/ including videos, FAQs, which we know many of customers find really useful. We also launched our free EstimatorXpress Software Skills Remote Training which you might also find helpful.
