I have used HCB Solicitors twice over the last three years. The first time was for the sale of a house, and subsequently the transfer of a commercial lease.
The service I have been on both occasions, has been exemplary. My calls were always answered promptly and efficiently. Where follow up emails were required, they were sent immediately.
The house sale was very straightforward, but the commercial lease transfer was anything but.
Four parties were involved, but after much prompting from Pam finally after 2 1/2 years the assignment was completed. Why it took so long, was not for the diligence of HCB, who tried and tried to get the other parties to get there act together.
I will have another property sale in the near future, and will not hesitate to use HCB, hopefully dealing with Pam again.

I have just been made redundant and so used HCB to go through the settlement letter etc with me. Natassia was the solicitor who worked with me on this, and she was absolutely amazing. She fitted me in quickly, and made the whole process so much easier to understand and made me feel so at ease. Would recommend her to anyone

After trying to sell 2 houses in order to buy our forever home, We endured numerous set backs from first time buyers withdrawing there offers to complicated solicitors from our buyers causing us set backs and disappointments. My case was handled by Ms. N. Brown who displayed exceptional professionalism and subject matter expertise which facilitated the prompt resolution of my case.

We chose HCB as they had an office nearby, but despite initial contact assurance it turned out their office was for conveyancing was elsewhere. They mislaid my deposit cheque for several weeks. The solicitor assigned to the case seemed to struggle throughout - poor communication, raising, not solving problems - and in the end told us at 5pm the day before exchange that she would not be in the office the next day! However, a senior solicitor took over the case and solved everything swiftly so all went ahead. So in the end the job was done accurately and on time, but I hesitate to recommend them based on that showing. Maybe other offices of HCB would be better.

We initially used HCB Northampton in 2020 to write two mirror wills. We decided to update them recently and once again was impressed. Peter Wilton on both occasions was courteous and efficient and made the experience uncomplicated.. He listened our needs and dealt accordingly. We would have no hesitation to use them again in the future .

My wife and I have used HCB on three occasions to act in the sale and purchase of properties.
