Extremely happy with the wood burner that Dermot fitted.
Looks so much better than I expected makes a real difference to the living room.

After contacting at least 20 installers over a 2 month period, being let down continiously, and losing the will to have a stove installed all together, we came across Dermot by chance.

Once I spoke to Dermot, I instantly knew he had great knowledge of stove installations.

Our installation was made out by other installers to be over complicated with some saying it couldn't be done. After Dermot arrived to do the survey, he confirmed there was nothing complicated about it.

We set a date, and Dermot and James arrived on time (to the minute) and started working as they took their first step through the door. Everything was covered with sheets within the working area, and installation commenced. Dermot took the time to explain each step and why he was doing it. Installation was completed and all sheets and dirt removed from the working area. Overall absolute 10 out of 10 for the job and finish is amazing.

The materials supplied were of top quality, not mass produced materials bought cheap from a wholesaler and still managed to give us a great price. Also installed my neighbours stove next door the week after.

If you're searching for a stove installer, Heat Matters is the way to go!

Just had our 5kw multi-fuel stove fitted in our lounge. Dermot & his colleague were very professional & competent. We could not be more happy with the completed installation. All our carpets, TV & furniture were covered with dust sheets & there was no mess to clear up afterwards. I would recommend to any other customer wholeheartedly.

Dermot has just fitted a log burner for us and the whole process from start to finish was outstanding. Dermot came to see what we wanted and because we were so unsure of what was the best fire to get he spent time explaining our different options and giving honest advice. It took us a week or two to decide on a fire but Dermot was always happy to answer our questions during this time.
We were quite apprehensive about having the work done because of the amount of dust we'd heard it caused but Dermot and Jay covered everything up and worked so quickly and neatly we were over the moon!
The fire looks and feels amazing! It is honestly the best money we have ever spent!, We would definitely recommend Dermot without a second thought!,

I’ve used Dermot from Heat Matters for the install of two wood burning stoves and supply of wood / kindling over the last couple of years, and would highly recommend him. His workmanship, care and attention to detail is second to none! He is very reliable and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

Dermot was recommended by my plasterer and I subsequently discovered he'd installed a woodburner next door. He came to estimate the job and once I agreed, he set a date and came when he said he would for the installation. He supplied and fitted a beautiful surround, slate backing, hearth and woodburning stove. He was very fast and efficient and cleared up afterwards really well - considering the amount of demo he had to do I was extremely impressed with that! I love the work and would recommend Heat Matters highly.

Dermot replaced my old fire when it became problematic. It wasn't a straightforward job, as I'd mosaiced all around the fire! The make things more complicated, the new fire was a different shape. Dermot removed the old fire, taking a lot of care to do the absolute minimal damage possible to the surround. I have used Heat Matters now for a number of years, for one thing or another. Dermot is always very professional, clear and punctual. He uses dust sheets and clears away any debris. I highly recommend Heat Matters.

Dermot and his guy,s fitted our wood burning stove about 2 weeks ago now. To be honest I forgot to write a review. Dermot has done a beautiful job on the fire, fitted an twin lined flue. Tiled the wall behind the fire plus a lovely slate harth.

After being recommended to us we booked Dermot to install our new log burner and twin walled flue into an existing false chimney breast. On the day of installation Dermot and his apprentice Olly arrived and completed the job efficiently and with very little disruption, I'm sure made more challenging by the electricity going off shortly after they arrived (nothing to do with them I hasten to add!). Both were professional and respectful of our property from start to finish, covering all our carpets and furniture that would be affected with plenty of dust sheets. Cannot recommend Dermot highly enough. From the first phone call to the installation, communication was excellent and he turned up to do both the survey and installation exactly when he said he would. Also very reasonably priced.
If you need a log burner or gas stove/fire installing you wont be disappointed if you book Dermot.

I ordered my Log Burner On the day of the fitting got a call from Dermot he told me he will be with me within the next 25 mins. He arrived spot on time introduced himself and His padawan Olly, Dave, James and Charlie. I made them both a Bacon, Egg and cheese toastie then they got straight on with the job. They were very professional, Polite and Courteous throughout the installation.
