Lovely healthy looking cherry laurels. Quick delivery. Excellent advice from a lovely sales gentleman on how to look after them in the freezing cold weather as 2 weeks after I planted them the weather turned very cold and I was worried they were going to

I purchased trees from this company…
I purchased trees from this company which were represented as being 7ft+ in height. On delivery, a significant number were materially shorter, measuring closer to approximately 5ft, and therefore not as described at the point of sale.
Within two weeks of planting, several of the trees began to turn brown and decline, despite being planted and maintained correctly. These concerns were raised promptly and in good faith.
Rather than engaging constructively or carrying out a reasonable site inspection (which I expressly offered), the company dismissed the concerns, made unfounded allegations regarding the authenticity of photographic evidence, and withdrew the guarantee without any physical assessment of the trees.
In my opinion, the manner in which this matter has been handled gives rise to serious concerns regarding misrepresentation and after-sales practices. As a result, I will be referring this matter to Trading Standards for review.
Based on my experience, I feel that I have been misled, and I would not instruct this company again nor recommend them to others.

*Attempted Fraud - Please Read*
We strongly reject the claims made in this review and believe it is important to correct the record.
The hedging supplied was the correct variety and height as ordered, with only the natural variation expected in live plants. This customer specifically ordered our 7ft+ Thuja Brabant hedging. We have photographs taken on the day of delivery, which clearly shows the exact plants supplied to this customer and confirms they were of the correct specification and of the high quality we consistently provide.
Several weeks after delivery, the customer contacted us alleging complete plant failure and supplied a single image as evidence. The image was very clearly AI-generated and did not depict the species we supplied. This immediately raised serious concerns regarding the authenticity of the claim.
To resolve the matter fairly and remove any possibility of fabricated or misleading evidence, we requested a short video call to view the plants live on site. This would have allowed us to inspect the hedging properly and, if necessary, take responsibility under our guarantee. The customer refused this request. A request for an in-situ video was also declined, making it impossible for us to verify the claim.
We have since obtained our own independent evidence (as the plants can be viewed from a public road) which confirms that the plants supplied are in excellent condition and remain as healthy as when they left us. On this basis, we are satisfied that the claims made are unfounded and amount to an attempt to obtain a refund through fabricated evidence.
The customer demanded for the matter to be resolved in their favour, accompanied by an explicit threat to post negative reviews if this did not occur. We consider this wholly inappropriate. The matter has been formally logged, and all supporting evidence has been retained and has been provided to the relevant authorities and review platforms.
We take genuine issues seriously and have a long track record of resolving them fairly, as reflected in our many positive reviews.
We cannot, however, honour guarantees or issue refunds where evidence is demonstrably false.

Getting all our plants for our garden transformation has been incredibly smooth thanks to the high quality plants these guys deliver.
Their personal service and good manners are second to none, and I can only recommend their services. They can find any plant you need and they will deliver without an issue or delays.
Totally happy with tav gardens and I wish them the best. They deserve it.

After an initial hiccup over delivery we were up upgraded to 1st class and our trees arrived as promised the following morning. The plants were in really good condition and have made a lovely addition to our garden.

TAV gardens have completely restored my faith in internet companies. Ordered the Lurrels Sat (very late) arrived Monday lunchtime. Delivered and very neatly left for us for when we returned from work

Great prompt communication from Georgina with answers to my questions. Delivery was the following week.
Very helpful polite delivery driver brought the 3 wrapped potted trees on a pallet with a jack trolley to my back garden gate for my husband and I to carry into the garden for planting. Thank you, that made it so easy for us.
The trees were in excellent condition and looked exactly as advertised on line.
The whole process was so easy and stress free.
Delivery charge was the same for coming to Fife, Scotland from England which was amazing as the company could have so easily increased the price.
