I have just spent the last week in Marrakesh with Helios retreats and it was a fantastic experience. Trainer Chris put us through our paces with some pretty challenging but fun workouts and our yogi Ellie taught some beautiful classes. Both of them went above and beyond to accommodate an existing injury I had. Something I really wasn’t expecting! The Sahara trip was truly magical, and the group were just ace. For anyone who’s thinking of booking this especially by yourself - just do it! You will meet some wicked likeminded people and you’ll be gagging for the next one. Maldives anyone?!

Whilst it was a full on week, it worked really well as we got to experience so much from the Atlas Mountains to the Sahara Desert and everything in between. Both Chris and Ellie, the trainers, were great. Their sessions were well-tailored and left me feeling good! Also I love how they both seamlessly became apart of the group. It made things feel all the more inclusive, as there was no divide between staff/clients. Also, Georgia did a wonderful job of keeping everyone together and making sure timings ran smoothly. We would’ve been lost without her! The trip to the desert was so surreal and it helped the group to become even closer - which was awesome because I really felt like I’ve made some friends for life. I can’t remember the last time I laughed so much… climbing several sand dunes in the pitch black to get to bed was certainly an experience I won’t be forgetting anytime soon. Such an amazing adventure!

The Morocco retreat was truly an experience of a lifetime. It struck the perfect balance between fitness, wellness, digital detox and cultural exploration. From HIIT classes by the pool, hiking up part of Atlas Mountains to have lunch in a traditional Berber house, to doing yoga in the Sahara desert, quad-biking and sleeping under the stars, this retreat was everything I had hoped for and more.

The team of staff took what was already an incredible experience to the next level. Georgia was kind and caring from the get-go and made us all feel welcome right when we stepped foot in the hotel. She made sure everyone was well catered for. Chris and Ellie were incredible instructors who provided us with so much motivation and support throughout the well-structured and customisable workout classes. Matt was so friendly and inspiring as his passion for travel and photography really shone through.

I met such a wonderful group of fellow travellers and we gelled so well together in such a short span of time, so much so that we have already made plans to get together again.

I would highly recommend Helios Retreats and I can't wait to go on another adventure with them!

I met some incredible people at the Morocco trip with Helios. Everyone was kind, friendly, inspiring, and caring. I will always cherish the laughters we shared, the dunes we climbed, and the memories we created together. Our coaches (Chris and Ellie) were not only highly professional, but also looked after us like families, tailoring the trainings to suit the group. The HIIT by the pool and the epic Sahara yoga were definitely the highlights of the trip. Our host (Georgia) was stunning. She really went out of her way to make sure everyone in the team was well looked after. I could not ask for a better organiser than her. I am looking forward to the next experience with Helios!

Brilliant retreat that I would recommend to anyone looking for some time away with like minded travellers combining some top quality training from great coaches and brilliant organisation by Helios.

Well where do I start with saying at how amazing my Helios Retreats experience has been! I went on the Morocco & Sahara Desert retreat and I was blown away by the experience. The team at Helios and the solo travellers that joined me on this incredible adventure were all amazing and made for an unforgettable trip. If you are looking for a solo adventure with like minded people, a touch of luxury and activities that will make you say ‘WOW’, then Helios Retreats is the retreat group for you. This was my first retreat with Helios & I have been blown away! So much so, whilst still in Morocco, I have put my name down for the Maldives retreat with a solo traveller I met on this trip! Don’t hesitate, don’t over think it, you can’t go wrong with booking a solo adventure with Helios Retreats!

Overall a really great experience and an amazing retreat. I loved the trainers and workouts as well as the excursions and downtime. There were a few hiccups but whenever addressed I feel they were receptive and accommadating. I would highly recommend this retreat company. Thank you for an amazing adventure!

What an incredible experience. Mykah and Danny offered customizable approaches for yoga and training, and they ensured a thoughtful balance between pushing ourselves and finding rest. Matt always made sure he got the best photos and videos at any given moment. The footage I’ve seen is amazing, and I’m so excited to see more! Their awesome personalities were bonuses to make the trip for all of us a blast. The retreat setting was gorgeous, and the excursions were fun. I am so appreciative to have had this memorable trip with such special people, and look forward to doing it again!

Either there was a massive lapse in communication between Helios and the resort we stayed at or my group was promised things that were not possible. Two main things are the biggest issues. The first being the woman in charge to organize and help take care of my group on the trip was not fit for this job. Everything was a mess on the organization side and any efforts to fix it just made it worse. Secondly, we all made our dietary restrictions known well before this trip and we were promised food we could eat from our private chef. Needless to say, I was constantly given food I am allergic too along with the others. Our fancy meals out at restaurants were terrible, overpriced and didn’t manage our food allergies. The location was beautiful, our trainer and yoga instructor was great, but overall I was beyond disappointed in Helios and how they run their company.

Oh my gosh, we had the best time on our Helios retreat! The accommodations were beautiful, the food was amazing, and the trainers were top notch. Hugo was responsive to our needs and requests and worked with us to customize our retreat. Our on site photographer went above and beyond to document our trip for some amazing photos that I will always treasure. The boat day and excursions, combined with the daily workouts and rest time were in perfect balance. Energized, refreshed and relaxed all at once.

You will not regret booking a retreat like this - I cannot wait to do it again!

We had a great trip to Eleuthera for our Helios retreat! Mykah and Danny are incredibly professional and classes with them were fun and challenging. The nice thing is that they're also wonderful people who we enjoyed spending time with outside of training and yoga. Matt, our content creator, was super chill and flexible with our many photo shoot requests. The food and staff at our hotel were wonderful, though would love to see some improvements in certain areas- namely would be great to have unlimited water available at all times without having to ask someone at the bar to fill up bottles again and again. Great excursions, plenty of pool and beach time and lots of memories. There were a few communication hiccups but overall a fantastic experience.

So appreciated the staff at Helios! The fitness instructors, Mykah & Danny, were so different but still a great combo of personalities and training. Matt was so personable and willing to capture some great photo moments for us! Loved the excursions that were planned, it created a experience for us that had variety and kept the novelty alive :). The resort was exquisite and was happy with the quality of food/cooking we received for our meals there! There were some communications gaps that made the experience not as seamless as it could've been, but overall I had a really wonderful experience! So appreciate the journey of what Helios brought to the table! Thank you!!

What a week...!

The Helios Maldives trip was incredible, it is only February and I know this trip will be one of my highlights for 2022.
From the beginning Hugo and Georgia are on hand to answer any questions you have, and helped secure my additional days accommodation...who wouldn't want to stay longer in the Maldives?
Following the last two years, I wanted to kick start 2022 on a positive note and get back into my health and fitness. I definitely had some anxiety as to whether I signed up to a bootcamp where everyone is an athlete, or where I might have to smuggle in a sweet treat because the food is 2 pieces of asparagus per person.

I had nothing to worry about.

The group was filled with the most down to earth, fun and positive people from all walks of life. Training was centred around a number of different work outs (circuits, boxing, mobility etc) and the intensity level adjusted based on how the group was feeling. Danny's energy is contagious and his ability to create fun, yet challenging workouts that you enjoy is a testament to his work.

The Anantara resort is the most beautiful backdrop for this retreat, run by the most incredible and friendly team with 7 different restaurants (all the sweet treats you could want), water sports, spa facilities, snorkelling and more. Sam was a great addition to the team capturing everything from workouts, the backdrop and the in-between.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Helios Retreats and already looking to book my next trip.

What an incredible trip to the Maldives with such an awesome group of people! Helios Retreats exceeded all of my expectations and I honestly cannot wait to book the next one!! The customer service was excellent from initial enquiry with Georgia, Hugo getting us prepared for the trip, and Danny’s energy in the workouts and throughout the trip. The workouts were fun and challenging, yet tailored to fit the mood of the group so you didn’t feel like you were on a ‘bootcamp’, with enough chill time to feel like you had a holiday! I couldn’t recommend Helios enough. 5 stars from me ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My first trip outside of the UK since 2020 couldn’t have been better. I had a fantastic experience on the February Helios Retreat to the Maldives. The retreat was the perfect balance of fitness, group activities, free time for relaxation, and socialising. We did multiple workouts a day but it still felt like a leisurely holiday rather than a boot camp.

Danny was a fun, energetic trainer who provided varied workouts accommodating the mixed abilities of the group. I particularly enjoyed boxing and I appreciated the attention to detail placed on form and technique in every workout we did. I will definitely feel more confident training on my own following his guidance. In addition to the training, he also dealt with any queries or concerns about activities, meals, agenda etc. on site and nothing was too much bother. It was also great to have Sam as part of the group as photographer and videographer to capture the special experiences we shared.

Booking as a solo traveller, I appreciated the set up of having a private bungalow and being on a resort where I could do things with the group as well as take time out to myself. The resort was beautiful and had plenty to do while we weren’t participating in organised activities. I particularly enjoyed making use of the fantastic spa and many water activities. Any nerves I had about booking a solo trip with a group of strangers were soon removed once I met everyone. It was a really great bunch of people and everyone mixed really well throughout the trip. We all learned a lot about the each other, our common interests and will be sure to keep in touch.

It is evident Helios is a company that places a high emphasis on the customer experience. Personal touches were evident throughout the booking process - from regular communication with Georgia throughout the booking process who always quickly responded to any queries I had, to a 1:1 with the founder Hugo ahead of the retreat to also share info and answer any questions I had about the trip/group/destination etc. The gift bags and smart techwear were nice additions too.

I’m so happy to have been part of this retreat and wouldn’t hesitate to book again or refer people to this company. Thank you to all that helped to make it so special!

The fitness retreat in the Maldives was honestly the best trip I have ever been on! Danny was brilliant, he really made the classes work with all of our varying abilities and challenged us to push harder and also try new things like boxing, whilst making every session fun- it really exceeded what I was expecting. The location was absolutely stunning (overwater bungalows with steps out to the sea), and there were plenty of activities to get involved in on nearby islands/spa/bikes etc, as well as plenty of chill time. The people were such a great bunch too, we bonded quickly and are already plotting our next trip. Also, Sam the photographer was an excellent addition (I am the worst at remembering to take any photos and he was also a lovely addition to the group). I couldn't recommend Helios enough- from the initial enquiry through to the care throughout, Hugo, Georgia and Danny went above and beyond.

My second Helios retreat and once again a holiday like no other - I mean it’s hard not to have an incredible time in the Maldives!

Given that I’d had such a great time on my first retreat, I was apprehensive as to what this one would entail but I needn’t have worried.

The group consisted of people from all walks of life and we all clicked from the get go. Once again Danny the trainer was amazing throughout the whole week and delivered fun, well-structured workouts that pushed everyone no matter their level of fitness. Sarah the yogi was also incredible and was able to adapt her classes to what everyone was needing that day; flows, relaxation or a good old stretch out. King was on standby snapping away on the camera to capture moments that will become cherished memories.

The additional activities such as swimming with sharks and jet skiing enhanced the trip beyond belief and definitely made it one to remember.

This retreat has brought so much joy to my life that is hard to describe. I found my tribe, my vibe, my peace and Helios could not have chosen a better place to be the scenario for that (Maldives)

Unbelievable, beyond magical. I had the best time and chance to decompress from my busy corporate life. If I would do it again? In the middle of this trip I promised myself I’d do it at least once a year, towards the end of the trip I’ve already promised myself that I will do it twice a year (or more). Cheers to all my new and lovely friends that I will carry for life!

Yoga and HIIT in the Maldives - what's not to love?

Everything about this retreat was pretty amazing. The location was breathtaking, the accomodation luxurious (over water bungalows!), the instructors Danny Osborne and Sarah White created fun and challenging workouts and yoga classes that pushed us all to the edge of our abilities and kept us motivated to keep on going but Sarah also adjusted the yoga to calm and soothe when needed.

Swimming with sharks was an unexpected bonus and the handstand workshop was especially satisfying (thank you Sarah!)

The food was delicious, plentiful and with endless healthy options to cater to all.

The atmosphere was friendly & relaxed and the other participants were a truly lovely bunch, all of whom I am pleased to count as new friends.

Hugo and his team run a tight ship, thank you for a great week - would do it all again in a heartbeat!
