Jon was able to pick up my small tiling job in just a couple of days. He and his mate carried out the job with minimum fuss. They took great care and I was very pleased with the result. They also cleared up afterwards. I would not hesitate to use them for another tiling job.

From first contact, Jon and Rick were easy to interact with, punctual, respectful and thoroughly professional and efficient. They worked swiftly and good-humouredly through fog, driving rain and wind to produce two super-smart, new (watertight!) shed roofs, with which I am thrilled. The job was beautifully finished to a high standard and the place was left exceptionally neat and tidy afterwards. Jon is clearly an excellent “ideas man”, attentive to details and spontaneously helpful. I recommend him and the Woburn Sands Hire A Hubby team 100%.

Called Hire a hubby yesterday looking for someone to quote me for connecting an electrical cooker and plumb in a washing machine. They got back to me with the quote yesterday and came out today. They were by far the cheapest quote and others said they couldn't come until next week or the week after. The Job has been done and Paul even did a few extra bits while he was here at no extra cost. I highly recommend this service and will use it again and again.

So I have had Paul in to do 2 jobs in my house this year. Firstly it was to install a new en-suite bathroom. The job he did was amazing, it is hard to believe it is the same room. All work was completed to the highest standard and he delivered exactly what wanted. We found his knowledge of the products to be very good and he was always mindful of cost and would always advice honestly and in several cases saved us money.

We then decided to give out utility room a tidy up. Again this was somewhere in which Paul really excelled. He managed to source the sort of cabinets we wanted for a fraction of the cost, and turned what would have been a 2-3 day install into a 1 day job. And again once the job was completed it was done to a very high standard.

In addition to these 2 jobs Paul also did some little bits to help out, he fitted a new lock on our back gate and also refitted a door to our washing machine after AO were unable to do so after installing a new machine.

I cannot speak highly enough about Paul, incredibly high standard of workmanship and very honest and reliable as well.

Our local Hire a Hubby, Paul (St. Neots) was great. He was able to quote for and complete the work quickly, advising us along the way and helping us save money, whilst completing some additional jobs we added as we went. He fixed some skirting around the base of static caravan taking into account has regulations and venting required. He also completed some basic plumbing and erected some fencing. Overall we are really happy with the work he did and would not hesitate to use him again in future.

would highly recommend Paul Davies, He transformed my mums old disabled shower into a beautiful bathroom. Being an old house it had its complications but he sorted it. He even came back out to visit as mum couldn't work the second shower hose which was just a matter of turning the dial a different way. They both found it funny. Nothing was to much trouble. we have already asked him to come back and do some other little jobs.

Suneil has, over the course of two weeks building a garden gym, worked at a level I honestly haven't seen in so many years I'm not even sure it has been bettered. All through the heatwave without dropping his standards one iota. The people who manufactured the garden room (Bulldog Fences) said that they hadn't seen a base that well made in 30 years. They then said they didn't think Suneil could possibly build the whole thing solo in a week. Well, he did. Not only is he a perfectionist, but he also handles impending problems with aplomb. Already having him back to do our garden fencing. If there were more than 5 stars available he would have them. Oh... and he turned up bang on time every single day.

Paul was reliable, turning up at the arranged time, and did a great job of assembling a double ottoman bed.
I would use this service again.

No problem in highly recommending Warren from Crowthorne for doing various jobs around the house and garden. He has fitted our fence, a lounge centre light and new sink and taps for our bathroom and downstairs toilet. All jobs have been done in a very professional manner. He is extremely tidy and ensured the work was done to our satisfaction. J I
