I asked them to take me off the mailing list for the quarterly magazinesânice enough, but unnecessary and probably not cheap to produce. I never read them as everythingâs online anyway, so they just end up in the bin.
Instead of just sorting it there and then, they pushed it back to me to deal with via my accountâwhich I canât even access without resetting my password. At that point, it feels like more hassle than itâs worth.
It would have been far simplerâand better serviceâto just remove me from the list when I asked. As it stands, itâs a waste of money and not a great customer experience... it feels lazy.
Also, I donât see the value in paying £71 a year for membership, only to be charged full-price entry at an increasing number of properties now. While it has been good value in the past, I wonât be renewing my membership next time
