Do not order from this company under any circumstances.
They do not honor their delivery dates and provide no updates or explanations.

They ignore all emails and are extremely difficult to reach by phone.
Customer service is essentially nonexistent.

It’s honestly surprising that anyone has had a positive experience.

I have filed a dispute with my credit card company and am currently waiting for the outcome.
I would not recommend this company at all.

Another one of these online stores that is very happy to take your money – for products they don't have in inventory – and then keep you in the dark about the fact that your order may not ship until the next month. How hard is it to communicate with a customer upfront that you don't have products in stock?!

We purchased a couple of Alessi items just after New Year's. Looking at the Hive site there was absolutely no warning about a lack of physical inventory, shipping delays, or backorders. But then ten days elapsed without a peep from Hive. So we had to chase them down for an update (also annoying) only to learn that the items are backordered, with no definitive date at which they will ship. And now we're stuck waiting for a refund while we're back to square one finding these items elsewhere.

Misrepresentation. Poor communication. A hassle and a waste of time for the customer when greed prevents a business from communicating clearly with shoppers. Hive Modern is the newest member of an ever growing list for our household of businesses that we will never make the mistake of ordering from again.
