Do not purchase

Similar complaint as others - when I went to activate my subscription, it would only allow me to do so in a European country and I live in the US. I called McAfee and they said it was not a legitimate product.

I was unable to use the activation code…

I was unable to use the activation code because it didn’t have an option for USA. I am trying to request a refund but unable to reach customer service. I already purchased one that actually works directly from McAfee, I just want a refund from Home-Use.

I purchased a McAfee anti-virus…

I purchased a McAfee anti-virus software and it was the wrong region (European).i reside in the US and Home-use still wanted me to download it, but I refused. I even contacted McAfee Corporation and they, too, confirmed it was the European region. I'm still waiting on my REFUND after repeated requests. I'm BEYOND ANNOYED AND DISGUSTED.

The keys work perfectly fine in the USA but if you refuse to register and activate we cannot help this. Your refund is on it's way, please go bug somebody else in the future

Product code unusable in USA

I am not able to use teh product code given to may as it is not supported for teh region where I need to use it. I contacted McAfee and they say I need to reach out to teh selleras they acnt help. thsi si so frustrating and tehre is no reach out contact mentioned for Home-use. Its just a waste of money and time.

I couldn't validate the key

I couldn't validate the key, my old single PC license can't be updated.

Useless

Sold me a foreign version of McAfee antivirus software. I am unable to use it in the USA.

There is no such thing as a "foreign" version, the country is set so the currency matches the region but since you do not need this function selecting your desired language (english) is enough.
