We contacted HomeEspaña to help us buy a newly built apartment in the Alicante province as a second residence in Spain. From the very beginning, the team was friendly, professional, and efficient in all communication with the builder, legal office, and notary.

What really stood out was their excellent after-sales service. After the apartment was delivered, we needed help with furnishing and interior decoration. Since we were abroad, we couldn’t manage it ourselves — but Emma was amazing. She coordinated with different suppliers, made sure everything was installed properly, and followed up to fix a few minor snags.

Huge thanks to the whole team for making the process smooth and stress-free. Highly recommended!

Wir haben uns mehrere Immobilien im wunderschönen Orba-Tal angesehen und wurden dabei von Jessica von HomeEspaña begleitet. Schon ab dem ersten Kontakt hat sie sich unglaublich viel Zeit für uns genommen und uns mit ihrer herzlichen, offenen Art und ihrem umfangreichen Wissen begeistert.
Obwohl wir uns aktuell noch in der Findungsphase befinden, wollten wir Jessica bereits jetzt ein großes Dankeschön aussprechen. Die Betreuung war von Anfang an professionell, geduldig und persönlich, man fühlt sich einfach gut aufgehoben.

We would like to reassure anyone who is looking to buy in Valencia to speak to HomeEspana. They are a fantastic team!!!

We are British, and were looking for our forever home in Valencia and the team is either British or English speaking, which really helped. If you are looking to move or buy in Valencia from the UK, the process is a little different to the UK, but the team supports you along the way.

We started our journey with Aaron, who found us our dream home, he was not pushy or intruding, and took into account all the specifics we were looking for. When he had found us our dream home, he helped us through the start of the process and was on hand for all the silly questions. We hit a couple of snags but Aaron and Andy did everything they could to find a solution to the issues. We could not of asked for more help. Thank you Aaron!

Andy carried on along the journey with us and supplied us with a 30+ minute video of the villa, with all the intrici's of the villa. They included a lot information that we would not have necessarily received when buying a home in the UK. They also recommended several services to us, which saved us several thousands of £'s. When we came to visit the Villa, Andy was on hand and drove us to and from the hotel for the visit. Thank you Andy.

When we were towards the end of the process and dealing with the solicitor, Argemary was on hand, helping us finalise some of the paperwork and jumping in where she could. As the Aftersales Manager, she was a star with providing us with photos and videos of the premises and fixtures the day before purchase close, just to ensure everything is working and as per agreed. She also kindly went out to the villa after flood Dana, and provided us with pictures and videos to reassure us that the villa had not been effected. Argemary also helped us set up a local bank account, and move the electric and water into our names. Plus she also joined us at the notoriety, we could not ask for more. Thank you Argemary!

So basically what we are saying is: we were lucky to have the.... Superstar, Triple A Team! and we were definitely in safe hands.

Great Experience with Home Espana and their team helping us secure our Dream Villa in Spain. We started our journey with Andy who spent several days over several separate trips taking us to view Villas until we finally found the 1 for us. He was very patient and knowledgeable, and kept great contact with us when we returned home via Whatsapp. After our offer was accepted Argemary took over and has been great even after completing. She has even helped us with the difficult things with the language barrier like switching electricity and water suppliers into our name. Any questions, queries or requirements are promptly answered via email & whatsapp. The experience was a dream from start to finish and we would 100% recommend them to anybody looking for a property in Spain.

We bought a home in the campo from HomeEspaña and were lied to throughout the process.

1) HomeEspaña's biggest failing, of many, was that the agent allowed the former owner stay in the property for 15 days AFTER the home was legally transferred to our ownership. During these 15 days, the previous owner stole the solar panels and batteries, the generator, well pump, water pump, water heater, kitchen stove, chimenea, light fixtures and furniture, all items that were a part of the inventory my husband and I and the seller signed off on.

The agent and "our" lawyer only caught the seller in the process of the stealing from us by chance (a friend's son was thinking about coming to stay in the house). When we were notified about the theft via email (we were still living in the US at the time), we were told that the theft had been reported to the local police and the seller was being required to put 20,000 euros in a bank account to pay for the property to be reinstalled, replaced or repaired.

However, when we arrived in April for a week and in May for good, we discovered that some property was still missing, the heating stove was broken, the water filter was leaking so we had no running water, the kitchen stove and solar batteries were not reinstalled properly, light fixtures were missing and more. But, because our lawyer did not ask us to sign the document recording this agreement, we have no legal standing for redress.

2) Second, despite having the property assessed by the surveyor Home España recommended, we were not alerted that our well was dry. The ad for the property claimed: “This unique property is completely self-sufficient as it runs the electricity from solar panels and has a backup generator. The water comes from a natural well, but there is also the possibility to connect to the mains water if needed. So there are no utility bills!” It is actually impossible to connect to “the mains water if necessary.” Instead, we receive agricultural water without fertilizer for 1 hour once a week, except when there is a significant amount of rain, like this year, RioAlcoy has not sent any water for more than three months.

3) Never use a lawyer recommended by the real estate agency, because that lawyer will be working for them and not you.

We bought our apartment in Denia in February 2025 through Home Espana. Clare Johnston helped us every step of the way to find the apartment we wanted. Then Clare's colleague Emma Freeman took us through the next stages of closing the purchase and signing the deeds. Emma even helped in our absence to oversee the installation of the broadband connection at our apartment and liaised with a supplier to install our awning. Clare and Emma couldn't have been more helpful. They were a pleasure to deal with.

I recently purchased a property with the Valencia office. Aaron and Andy at HomeEspana were absolutely great.
From my first point of contact and subsequently house viewings, a very good experience. Their knowledge and guidance of the areas and attention to my brief was informative and reassuring. Nothing was beyond their scope of knowledge or effort. Alix and Argemary handled the paperwork and made the process go smoothly and punctually. Argemary is a power of information even in after sales helping with utilities and sourcing companies for the aftercare service.
All in all I highly recommend HomeEspana for your purchase and would definitely use them again in purchase or sale in future.

Both the sales and after sales team guided us through our house sale process. Very supportive and positive at all times as sale turned out more complex than expected. Would have no problem in highly recommending the teams located in La Zenia and Los Dolses.

A couple of cons:

When I chose the company, I thought I would work with the agent with whom I had met. After all, it was the personal experience that made me choose that company. However, after contracting them, I never saw that agent again. Instead, other agents of the company contacted me about the property. I was a bit disappointed about that, as I had not been informed that the agent with whom I had talked, would not be on the sale after contracting. I found it slightly confusing to have a number of agents as "point of contact", but not a big issue.

There were also some other disappointing facts, but overall they didn't matter much.
