Great customer service! I initially contacted customer care with a query on sizing. I received a prompt and helpful reply. The cardigan I ordered is a lovely design, using beautiful colours and yarns. Regrettably, I was disappointed with the standard of hand knitting of my particular garment and very reluctantly returned. I followed the simple and clear returns policy, and quickly received a full refund.

I’ve just received my Gooseberry Colossal Knit Cardigan and it is FABULOUS- I feel gorgeous in it - Lucinda, the lady who knitted it, is a genius - to think she made it with no needles is amazing - it feels like you’re wearing a massive cosy hug - perfect for the winter or a cold house - I love it - thank you all for a great experience and a wonderful cardie 😍

Fabulous 2 cardigans. Good information at all stages along the way. 2nd delivery was a bit delayed by Royal Mail . However a quick response from Francesca was helpful and my cardigan was delivered the next day. Unique and beautiful design and knitting.

Product is lovely but the cardigan was a gift and as I hadn’t been informed when it was coming my wife saw the box before I got home and it would have been fine apart from the HOPE banner all the way round it. Her birthday isn’t until November so that’s one surprise gone.

I bought a £100 online gift voucher for my sisters Christmas present, when she went to redeem it she found someone had fraudulently used it. When she reported it to customer services they said they couldn't do anything about it as they don't have anything in place to stop this happening even though they had all the details of the person who used it. So anyone thinking it safe to buy a voucher please think carefully as the thoughtful present you give to a loved one could be stolen by a thief. 🤬

Very pleased with end product

Let’s be honest here: the item is amazingly well made, by hand of course. But when you spend £400 on an item, 48hr delivery through RM seems a little off. I would have paid a bit more for a trackable delivery.
Again, the item is worth every penny and is truly one of kind, but not being able to track something of this value through its journey seems odd.

Deliverytime is a bit long but all worth it

Received a very used sweater with stains threads coming out . It looked like some one wore it for a long time and trashed it. Definitely not what you expect for a 600 usd “high end” product !

Hope-Macaulay is a wonderful collection of knitters and support staff. The staff responds
quickly to any questions. I have been lucky enough to buy 2 cardigans for myself and one for my daughter. Unpacking a HM box, without exaggeration, is magical. The sweaters are colorful, skillfully crafted, beautifully packaged. And I’ve never received so many compliments about a single piece of clothing. Honestly, wearing your cardigan is like the feeling of a lovely hug from Ireland. I am a fan.

Love the cardigan I ordered ,and then received this week .It is a one off expensive item which will be very special for me .It would be out of my price range on a regular basis .
I watch the programme ‘Our Lives ‘ and was so taken with the whole set up you have all achieved ,I felt I wanted to support you as well as own something very individual.I am sure you will be an inspiration to other young designers .

I ordered this garment for my daughter in laws 40th birthday and did not expect it to arrive on time, but it has arrived and i am delighted with it. Its is beautiful and being a pink girlie i know she will love it.
