Hope Macaulay is a family-run, woman-owned contemporary luxury fashion brand, founded by textiles designer Hope Macaulay on the beautiful North Coast of Northern Ireland. What began as Hope knitting alone in her bedroom has expanded into a team of 20 skilled knitters working from home across Northern Ireland, helping keep the traditional cottage industry alive. Unable to find pieces to make from other’s knitting patterns, she developed her own method, just by using her hands. The sweaters a beautiful. The quality of the material used is exceptional. Don’t be turned away because of the cost. They are so worth it. I just bought my fourth one.

 what would be more bespoke is for you to let us know the journey of the garments instead of us having to log on that wasn’t that simple but that’s me being really picky

Your product fitted everything but


Your product fitted everything but unfortunately you didn’t include on your details that the product I bought is unable to be washed. If I had known that I wouldn’t have even contemplated buying it. I never go to a dry cleaner & I think you’re giving out misleading information. I’ll let you know the result when I wash my product.

Each of our handmade pieces includes a care label with guidance, and we also provide a detailed care guide on our website, which recommends gentle spot cleaning or taking your item to a professional dry cleaner. A brilliant service

Hello, Even though Royal Mail failed to scan my tracked 24 parcel sent from the UK it arrived days later via 'snail mail'.

Francesca immediately notified me of the good news. Such a lovely gesture and at the same time sent me my refund in full.

Poor Customer Service

The cardigan is nice but the lack of communication spoilt the experience. I waited well over the four weeks and my email enquiring about a likely delivery date went unanswered. However, a day or so after my email the knitter tracker facility showed that my parcel was on the way.

Happy customer

I bought a cream cardigan for my daughter last year. The delivery to where we live in the IOM was a lot quicker than I expected and she loved it.
I’ve just bought her another ( I know! #spoilt which arrived even more promptly. So thankyou for a great shopping experience 👍
