Very comfortable accommodation in a great location

WHITBY - EGTON - Fantastic lodge, in a nice wooded area, peace and quiet just what we wanted, nice 2 days away.
Host and stay were Sending too many e-mails and unable to get things sorted as finish at 5-30.
1) We could NOT get into the secure wooded area - we got a pass code sent to us 6 hours before hand, but could not get pass the barrier, because no persons were at reception to great us, we did text this person called Lisa in the afternoon as told to do via e-mail to let her know what time we were arriving (4-45), so we could not get into the park area and had NO idea which lodge ours were. Daughter got out the car and ran to test out other lodges key code and finally found our lodge.
But we still not get pass the barrier, until a regular in a car and opened the barrier up for us, as she had a key fob, were us had to put a 4 digit code into pad.
So we were in and went to lodge unpacked, but still could not get out of park as had NO code for Barrier as we had a table booked at a pub for 6-45.
Me and daughter went back to barrier, and this person came out of the woods a worker called Kerian who told us that the wardens were on holiday and this lady called Lisa should have been there, he then tried to text her again and finally got a text back at 5-50 with the barrier code. THEW.
2) Too many e-mails from Host and Stay, they could easy put all the information we needed to get into the park and lodge into 1 e-mail. (we did ring Host and stay up at 5-15 about our entry problems and we were 7th in the queue, finally answered at 27 minutes past 5, we explained to the lady we were trapped in the park and could not get out, she said she would try and get in touch with reception but we close at 5-30, and we never heard from her again).
3) Morning of departure, at 9-30 daughter was getting a shower in main bathroom and we heard an almighty bang and a shout of pain, the shower pole that the hand held shower heard had come away from wall and landed on her foot, although bruised no broken bones, but was limping fro most of the day, the cleaners arrived at 9-55, so I told them what had happened, and I left a note as well, saying it must be fixed before new people arrive later in the day,

Three flights of stair to the front door. Three floors to get to inside, No starter pack. Would not stay there again or advise anyone to stay there unless they are mountaineers. Not for elderly or disabled people.

Stayed here for the poetry festival and absolutely loved it. The location is perfect, so close to the beach, the station, and loads of great cafes and restaurants, so everything was right on the doorstep.
The flat has so much character. The mid-century furniture and vintage ornaments look amazing and give the place a really cool, welcoming vibe. Plus, the bed was incredibly comfy, which was a lifesaver after long days out at the festival.
Would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Morecambe. Highly recommend!

Perfect size property for four people. Well equipped and in a central location. Exact location on pier lane (steep cobbled hill) would make it unsuitable for people with significant mobility problems. Lack of a garden also means dogs cannot be let out for toileting. Possible Consideration if you have an older dog.

Surprised that we were left only one toilet roll for four nights for four people. Had to buy our own.

Although the cottage was generally clean there were several webs and spiders around the ceiling. I had to run around the ceiling with the hover to reassure my slightly arachnophobic wife.

I recently had a 2 night stay at Littlebeck House with 5 of my friends, and we were delighted with the accommodation. We received the keysafe number on the morning of our trip and this is great for not worrying about carrying a key around when you leave the property. The house is very spacious, and tastefully decorated. The open plan lounge and kitchen worked really well for us, and the island in the middle gives a bit more space and work surface for prepping and cooking. The kitchen has all the usual appliances needed and an iron and ironing board is also provided for use. The beds were so comfy and we all had great sleep. The bathrooms are a decent size, with a waterfall shower option, and some storage under the sinks. A bath towel is provided per guest, and they also provide a hand towel and bath mat for each bathroom. There are also hairdryers in the bedrooms.
The area itself is so peaceful and hearing the beck at the side of the house when we sat outside was so lovely.
The hot tub is just outside the front door in an outdoor cabin, and we made use of this. It’s a lovely addition to the property and was much needed after a day of exploring Whitby.
The only downside was that the instructions mention locking the hot tub room but we couldn’t find a key for this anywhere and the communal bin store for rubbish was locked and there was no key safe number provided for this.
Other than that our stay was fantastic, peaceful, enjoyable, and most of all the restful break we all needed. We would all definitely stay here again in a heartbeat.

Lovely cozy apartment in a great location, parking a nice bonus

Erg schoon en comfortabel huisje! Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Rustige buurt en dichtbij de zee. Goede bedden en heerlijke douche! We komen terug!

My stay at The Warren in Stokesley was perfect. The property is exceptional. The other guests and I agreed that we had rarely slept so well away from home. All the fixtures and fittings were great and the house is beautifully decorated. Would definitely book again.

Host and stay made it easy to book a lovely cottage in the Peak District. Cottage was as described and had everything needed for a wonderful weekend stay. Communication by email was clear,helpful and on time.would use this company in the future

Overall experience fantastic, great, clean house with gorgeous views and lovely location.

Booked through booking.com for a free cancellation booking for Aug 2027. Payment not due till July 2027. No way in terms and conditions does it say 50% upfront but that is what was charged to my credit card the same day so we cancelled. Three weeks later and still no refund, just messages back saying it is being processed (think they are trying to earn as much interest as they can before returning it). I have had to contact credit card company to investigate

Lovely lodge and enjoyed it. However, still not received security deposit back after 7 days since start of booking and two emails to them have been ignored. Leaves me having to raise dispute with my bank.

Lovely cottage in a great location. Very clean, cosy and comfortable and has everything needed for a short break.
We walked to the Abbey, ate at the Black Swan and La Trattoria and visited the brewery, shops, church and castle. Great village to visit for a relaxing weekend and the accommodation was perfect!

Great location, quiet, well equipped.

Two minor points just to note:
1. TV is for streaming services on your account only. There appeared to be no TV service as such
2. The driveway is narrow with a tight turning head. All possible for most cars, but not a lot of spare room!

Fully equipped, large apartment in the heart of Liverpool- only 2 mins walk away from centre. Very clean and very good communication with owner.

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay and actually wished we booked longer! The lodge was very big and clean and it was perfect for my boyfriends birthday! Our highlight was the hot tub! We didn't explore the sight as much as we could due to a short time spent there but I loved where it was and how peaceful it was.

Property in good location, fully equipped, plenty of room for the two of us.

Under sink were various products including a razor left by previous guests
Bed and pillows were REALLY uncomfortable
Dog hairs on carpet
Apartment is directly over a micro brewery loud music and door banging. Never was this mentioned
The welcome folder was riddled with grammar and spelling mistakes
Kerb appeal was zero
Also they never got back to me when they asked how we were settling in.
Plus side, appreciated the car space pass, location and the settee was lovely.
