Having worn NHS hearing aids for a decade I was in denial that they werent sufficient for my day to day work-life anymore. I was struggling with everything- conversations, music, tv but wasnt keen on going private. However, I did and met Gavin and his lovely team in Hamilton.
Gavin was wonderful! Listened to my specific requirements, did a trial, tweeked as we went along.. Just picked up my new aids less than a week ago and going back for a review next week! Cant fault the care and attention. Is it worth it to hear properly again.. Absolutely.

I am a client and was able to get an appointment quickly with my audiologist. I moved to H of H from Boots Audiology the standard of service had deteriorated. I have been pleased to now receive excellent service in attractive surroundings from the same audiologist each time.

I have experienced problems with blocked ears most of my adult life and my GP was usual port of call for treatment until a few years ago when l was told from now on it was up to myself to find an alternative as GPs no longer do this form of treatment this l did with the Dove Hearing Centre in Huntbach Street and for the past 4 years have returned to them for a yearly check-up l am contacted as a courtesy reminder to attend Hearing examination asked if there are any problems and given opportunity after examination to discuss results and given choice of what happens next and also if need for treatment within post 12 months is required then advised to go back for further investigation Highly Recommended and lovely staff too

I was informed of House of Hearing in Ashton by a close friend who was very pleased with the help he had received.

Booking an appointment was easy & I am so glad I did. The staff were all lovely & very welcoming.
Following a de-waxing which was totally painless Gemma gave my ears a thorough test. She explained in simple terms what my hearing problem was & illustrated the difference that hearing aids would make.
One week later I was fitted with the aids & given a full explanation on how to use & care for them. I then had a weeks free trial to see if I was happy & had not paid anything at this stage.
After the trial I could either purchase them or return them.
Without hesitation I purchased them which immediately started a 60 day money back period.
The whole procedure was carried out in an extremely friendly & professional way & I have noticed a big difference in my hearing.

This was my first visit to ‘House of Hearing’ and the level of service was outstanding. Right from making an initial telephone enquiry, to confirming an appointment all went well. On the day of the appointment I was welcomed by both the reception member of staff and the practitioner who was to carry out the procedure.

Great service, very professional, great advice and felt reassured

Lynsey was excellent, really helpful with removal of ear wax and explaining steps I could take to prevent recurring wax buildup.

Decided it was time to get my hearing checked, as I wanted to be proactive about addressing any issues early to help reduce the risk of age-related dementia. After doing some research, House of Hearing in Edinburgh came out on top.
​I was tested by Stuart, who was exemplary in every way. He explained all the technical and practical details perfectly, giving a very honest and humble assessment without any sales pressure. It turns out I have some minor high-frequency hearing loss due to age, but Stuart reassured me that I don’t need hearing aids just yet. Instead, he offered to book me in for a follow-up test in a year.
​The entire process was straightforward and thorough, and Stuart made sure I understood everything clearly. I’ll definitely be back next year and would highly recommend House of Hearing.

I purchased my hearing aids from House of Hearing Hamilton. The staff always go above and beyond in making you feel valued as a customer and respected. Pauline the receptionist is very supportive and a lovely friendly face whenever you hace any queries. Gavin the audiologist is extremely helpful solving any queries, completing annual hearing reviews. They also offer ear wax removal.

The service at House of Hearing in Edinburgh was excellent - prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I was examined by Stuart Lyness who carefully and professionally explained and demonstrated everything I needed to know and more - and no hard sell, which would have made me reluctant to return.
