I m a professionnal photographer, I ordered 4 backdtops for small shootings in food or little products. The products are poor quality, no rigid cardboard : all is send with scotch on it and when I opend it the black backdrop were spoiled by the scotvh on it.

The product is really too too much shiny for a professionnal use and the printed is not really fine... I only can use the white one.

I don t recommand

I love this backdrops. It's sturdier than I was thinking it would be. And I love the pattern/colors! I can see myself ordering more.

I purchased 3 backdrops, all of them are double sided which is fantastic! I went for;
Marble (with a slightly different marble pattern on the back)
Dark wood (again with a different dark wood texture on the back)
Whitewashed wood with stone on the other side

All three translate brilliantly on camera and all of my clients have been shocked with how they come out post editing. I shoot mostly food and product photography and so having wipable, easy to carry backdrops is an absolute win for me!

Still waiting on my order

I ordered my backdrop over a month ago and I have still not gotten it. I do not believe that it is HQbackdrops fault as much as it is who they have chosen to handle their delivers. Not sure what the story is, I just know that I have paid for something that I have not received.

The backgrounds are really good for the price. Great for overheads, but you don't want to get to close up with the wood backgrounds. That said for flatlay/overhead (not to close-up) they work really well. If that is what you're using them for then these are a good product for an honest price.

The stone backgrounds are in my opinion really good. You can get close up!

The size of the backgrounds is also good, easy to work with. They get shipped rolled up so you'll need to clamp or weigh them down or they'll roll right back up when you lay them out. I have one I've used often and I store it flat and it slightly curls at the ends but no longer wants to roll so give them time! Shipping takes some time, but no longer than the estimate they give. The tracking is very detailed so you can easily follow your order status.

I'd recommend these. If you're like me and don't have a lot of space these are a great option.

Customer service is basically useless. Ordered 4 sheets and 3 showed up damaged. Waiting for a true response of how they will deal with this. For the price, poor quality.

good professional photographic backdrops for still-life, opaque, in stain and scratch resistant vinyl, size about 60x80, shipping a bit slow ... you always have to wait 20 to 30 days. excellent value for money. Serious company.

Dark side of the set i bought was not representative of the image listed on the website - web image had far more contrast than what I recieved. Customer service were not helpful at all except to state that yes it is quite dark... less than ideal

My backdrops arrived fairly quickly and were well packaged. The look to be good quality. Not had chance to test them out yet. I've got them weighted down to flatten the curve from being rolled.

I wrote a review for them recently that was not favourable. That was because the sheets were ALL damaged and it took them a while to put it right.

HOWEVER, after a few weeks I received another batch, properly packed which made all the difference as it arrived in perfect condition. So, I’m grateful and so glad they made this right...did the right thing. I hope they have now changed their policy and everything goes out checked packaged and protected properly and with a note saying, ‘fragile’. On both occasions it took a while to reach me and I think they should have on the order to expect delivery within 21 days which will then warn customers. I’ll now use them again as they rectified the previous shambolic experience.

The backdrops were as they were on the website and I am very happy with them. I have received some great comments of the photos I have taken of my pottery with the new backdrops.

I ordered 4 backdrops and the most important one for me (the marbled one) arrived wrinkled in the edges the print was messed up. There's vertical lines with smudges, I thought I could clean it up but it's a printing mistake. I didn't notice it until I used it yesterday. Oh well. But otherwise, I would have given a 5 star.
