Returns are a nightmare, if you even ever hear from them. Constant negotiation for In store credit.

Awful company. Refuse to do refunds when you buy the wrong size. Avoid

Avoid avoid avoid. This is a scam company from China, not a UK company. Its been a week and still not even shipped and constantly lied to on all emails. I wish I had read reviews before ordered as they all say cheap clothing from China. Scam alert and cant return for a refund as in China and the just refuse the return, so wasting more money paying to return the goods. Absolutely outrageous that this is allowed. I ordered as advertised on Facebook and the jumpsuits looked lovely. Will not fall for a scam like this again.

Do not do business with this company. Rubbish products ... fake tracking numbers. No email contact replies from them answering questions. They say free returns but they only offer store credit vouchers not money back. I am reporting them to UK Standards Commission. The only way to sort them out is NOT TO BUY from them. Totally dishonest.

Absolute shambles of a company…sorry, ‘company’. Lovely website, draws you in. Ordered two dresses for around £150. Terrible quality - cheap, nasty material, shapeless, etc. Emailed to arrange a refund and had AI emails back - generic, duplicating, not answering my questions. Eventually managed to get an address in China - no surprise there. Been in customs for well over a month - I don’t think the address is genuine. Must have sent 20 odd emails now to get a refund and still nothing. Stay well clear.

Customer service team is not helpful in resolving any issues. My order never got delivered and the team is completely unresponsive. Moreover the order took over a month to arrive with the company providing no shipment updates throughout. Would not recommend

These are a terrible company. I ordered a size 8 uk shoe and was sent a size 41 which is clearly a size 7 uk. After telling them of this they said they would send a size 42 free of charge. I offered to send the wrong size back and was told I could keep them for their wrongdoing, obviously no use to me as they're the wrong size. I was then told they didn't have size 42 and would I like a different size . I pointed out a different size is useless to me and could I have a refund or a size 42 in a different colour. I was told that they sent the right order and if I want a refund then send the original pair back at my own cost. I have asked for proof that their size 41 is a UK size 8 and have had no reply. This is a warning to any future customers not to use this company

ordered a BLACK cardigan -size 2XL . It took 2 weeks to arrive. It certainly was not the correct size. If I want to return it it would cost at least £10 to return to China. Simply do not engage with this company

Shocking experience, avoid at all cost.
Bought an outfit back in early April in 2 different sizes. Neither fitted but also two different tones of white!
Tried to get a refund, kept getting offers of a credit instead. Why would I buy anything from them given the sizing issue and colours again!
Finally agreed to a refund sent items back nearly two months later items still in customs and no refund!!

If I could give them zero stars I would. So expensive for something that is not what is in the picture. They won’t let you return no matter how many times you ask for return information. The call number is fake. The sizing is also POOR I bought two to try on for sizing and decided it was not what I needed for a wedding . 200$ wasted since they won’t let me return

I bought grey cargo shorts unfortunately.The two back pockets are stitched up so you cannot use them.They are advertised as sold with a canvas belt & I did not receive a belt.After wearing for a couple of days the grey colour disappeared leaving a rusty red colour material on the front legs.These are probably seconds or have been copied/fake originals in a sweatshop somewhere.Hudson Claye must know what they sell as many people have complained & are obviously a corrupt company..Buy nothing from them!

I would absolutely not recommend this organisation. They present themselves as being based in Europe, but in reality, returns are only accepted in China. This makes it extremely difficult and expensive to return items, often costing more than the product itself, effectively preventing customers from getting refunds.
It also appears to be a dropshipping operation. The product quality is very poor—cheap plastic and not as advertised—and it cannot be used or worn as expected.
After I opened a case with my bank, the company offered a 50% refund without requiring a return. I accepted this offer within a couple of days, but they then backtracked and claimed I was “over the 30-day period” and refused to honour it.
Overall, this has been a misleading and frustrating experience that feels designed to avoid accountability. I strongly advise others not to buy from this company.

Don’t buy from here the quality of the products are really poor :( the material is really bad and they won’t let you refund it either.

Another scam Chinese company. The shoes ship from China in a plastic package no box no anything. They come squished and bent and wrinkled and the customer service doesn’t exist. Had enough of these companies.

Absolute joke of a company. Run, don't walk away from these clowns. I ordered a linen sport coat that arrived and was literally see through. A roll of paper towels is better quality. I ordered a 3XL based on their sizing chart (typically I buy XL). What I received was probably too small for a horse jockey to wear. When I requested a return they said I had received the right size and offered me a 10% store credit and I could keep the paper napkin coat that wouldn't fit a 3rd grader. For a refund, I had to return the item to China. I shipped it to China and it has been stuck in customs for 14 days and when I emailed to ask about the refund, the response was that the 30 day return window had elapsed so there is no refund. I hope everyone involved with this company has mediocore sex the rest of their lives.

Avoid Hudson Claye.

The item I received was nothing like the photographs advertised on their website. The quality was shockingly poor, cheap-looking, and much smaller than represented.

After sending clear photos and explaining that the item was not as described, I was not offered a refund to my original payment method. Instead, they repeatedly increased offers of store credit from 15% to 30%, then 45%, then 60% — while telling me I could keep the item.

The company appears to present itself as European-based, but when I requested a return I was told to send the item back to China at my own expense using tracked shipping, costing a substantial amount.

Even after returning the item, they stated they would only issue store credit rather than a proper refund.

In my opinion, this is an extremely misleading and frustrating way to operate. I would strongly advise anyone considering ordering from Hudson Claye to think very carefully and read the returns policy in full before purchasing.

I certainly would not order from them again.

I bought a 2-piece suit in Wine Red. When it came, it was not how I expected so I emailed customer service to process a return. I've been going back and forth with emails with this company just to issue a return, and they keep fobbing me off, saying they want to give me store credit (30%), bearing in mind I paid £85 for the suit in question!!! It's like they keep emailing the same AI-generated email over and over again when I've made it clear that I want to return the item and get a full refund. They still have yet to issue a return form so I can send the items back, despite me emailing back and forth for days. Even for me to return the item, I would have to pay to return it myself so its a loss either way. I WOULD NOT recommend buying anything from this brand at all!!!

I recently bought a polo shirt from Hudson Claye , the polo shirt was the wrong size for me and to be honest it was of very poor quality material.

I contacted the company about returning the item and was met with a very negative attitude, they don’t do returns unless customer pays for this themselves and keep offering a discount on another item , 3 days I have waited for a response

I would give this company zero points. The dress I ordered and paid £72 for is of extremely poor quality. It's nothing like the advertised garment. I am currently emailing back and forth with them and they are trying to get me to accept store credit, even though they offer full refunds in their terms and conditions. It will also depend on them receiving my parcel somewhere in China before they process payment so I am not hopeful of getting anything. I'm going to continue requesting it anyway before sending it back. Stay clear of this company. I don't know how to report them to get them taken down!
