Friendly, and supportive at every step of the process

When I had questions it never took longer than a couple of hours to get an answer and if I needed to speak with someone, the meeting would happen latest on the next day. Very smooth application process. Helge has been super helpful and responsive throughout the entire process from the initial inquiry through contract signature.

Michael was very patient and guided me and my husband through every step of the mortgage application process. He helped us calculate and identify our actual budget for the property with the combined income we have in hand. With that information known, we were able to realistically look for properties in that price range. When we found a property that we liked, Michael provided multiple bank valuation for the property. That was a very useful and helpful insight, and we were able to secure a deal with the owner for a fairer price. After submitting our mortgage application, Michael made sure to follow up on the application status when it took a few days longer than usual. We had a tight timeline and Michael did his best to help us out on a short notice. Much appreciated and thank you so much Michael & Hypofriend!

I cannot emphasize how helpful Hypofriend has been to get our mortgage in place. We had a rather tricky income situation and were rejected by almost all German banks, but Oliver went above and beyond in helping us to find a bank and get a mortgage. Oliver was exactly the type of person you want by your side when you make the biggest purchase in your life: He was always available to answer whatever question we had and he guided us expertly through the entire process. Highly recommend.

Our mortgage advisor Luka went above and beyond for us not only in securing our mortgage options but also helped us a lot in getting the proper documentation from the seller's agent.
He took off a lot of our burden by directly contacting the agent and explaining the documents needed from the bank. Even sent an architect to the house to get the dimensioned plans. So once I selected the house to buy it was completely taken care of until the Notar appointment.

I cannot think of a better service to land a mortgage in Germany, especially as an expat.
We have been hand-held by the Hypofriend team from the first consultation call, they have been extremely thorough in explaining the German mortgage landscape and suggesting us the best options. It's a very tedious process and there were some hiccups but I always felt I could count on Martin and his collaborators.
