I worked with Hypofriend two times. I have found the service provided by Hypofriend very professional, reliable and friendly, in both German and English languages. I definitely recommend Hypofriend for financing from the start and a successful end.
One practical hint: Hypofriend intends to suggest you to provide less equity for a mortgage and instead apply for a higher mortgage. This is in favor of both Hypofriend and a bank, but not you are a mortgage borrower. Be aware of it and try to push back their first suggestion in favor of more equity and less mortgage - if applicable to you!

In parallel taking with Hypofriend I was takeing offers from other banks as PostBank, Sparkasse and VolksBank. Consultation from other banks are also friendly and helpful but offer from Hypofriend is unbeatable.
