A happy parking experience in midtown

Parking in NYC is always expensive but Icon is fair and upfront when you make a reservation. This location was very convenient to Columbus Circle area. Attendant was prompt and courteous. Facility was clean and price was reasonable

Computer glitch or scam?

I am a frequent Icon guest and I always pre-book. My arrival/drop off was easy. The issue arose when I was picking up my car.
I arrived within the time frame that I reserved. I scanned the QR code that I received when I arrived. The employee then told me that I needed to pay. But I pre-paid and I showed him my reservation. The bar code wouldn’t scan. He then told me if it didn’t work I would have to pay again! Absolutely not!! Here is my receipt and the payment has already been deducted from my bank account!! My car is right there, please give me my keys and let me go home. He just kept writing things down, having me keep scanning my barcode, and looking at numbers on the computer. This went on for over 10 minutes before the bar code was miraculously accepted and he gave me my car!!
I understand sometimes computers glitch, but don’t tell me I have to pay again when I have proof that I already paid.
As a woman who was by herself, it felt like a questionable interaction! And I did not like that he held my keys away from me and that I was unable to leave when I knew I did nothing wrong.

I have used many ICON parking garages…

I have used many ICON parking garages but this one is not great. The attendant was truly a scam artist. I prepaid for parking and when I went to retrieve my car, scanned my barcode, I was charged a second time for parking that was pre paid. I don’t know what the attendant who checked is in did, but I will never use this garage again.

Staff makes the difference!

The man was polite, professional and helpful! I had never parked in this garage but the location is excellent.. midway between theaters and ny philharmonic! Car was perfectly cared for! Definitely will return

This location charged me $18 more when…

This location charged me $18 more when I got there. I have used this app for other parking spots and it works fine but this time they said my car was over sided and charged me $18

Please note that during the booking process, all customers are required to review and accept our terms and conditions before finalizing their reservation. These terms include information about the oversize vehicle fee, which is charged at the location if a vehicle exceeds standard size limits.

As a general guideline, a vehicle is considered oversized if it is 181 inches or longer, or 65 inches or taller.
