Great East Side location with a very favorable price. It's just a few blocks to the Lexington and 53rd St subway station. Attendants were friendly and had my car ready to exit at my return time.

First time to NY parking and got scammed
First time to NY and purchased parking via an APP. Drove into two garages along East 53rd street. On each occasion showed them the app booking and they said it was not their car park booking. Drove into Sutton house Garages at 06.42 pm and the parking attendant said, YES, this was the right place with the right booking. Went to pick up my car the next day and a new parking attendant said nope wrong car park. Would not release my car until I paid $49, as I was heading off to the Airport to catch my flight back to the UK. I would like my money back please for dishonest information and have ended up paying twice.

Once again, 4 times in total, I have reserved and prepaid for a spot in the Sutton 53rd garage and for some reason the system doesn’t recognize my car and connect it to my prepaid status. The rep at the garage had to manually check me out yesterday. I have complained about this before, but nothing has changed. I have been parking at this location for years.

Double Charged & Tacked on Fees
In addition to double charging my credit card and refusing to refund me, when I picked up my car they held my keys hostage until I agreed to pay an additional fee for an oversize vehicle. I have parked in this exact garage in the same car a handful of times before with no oversize vehicle fee. I will never park in this garage again and if Icon refuses to refund my money, I will never park in another Icon garage.
Update: Icon responded to my initial review attempting to claim that their policy for oversize vehicles is clear and coherent, it is not. I drove the same vehicle and parked in the same garage as I have several times before with no oversize vehicle charge, and then they suddenly decided to charge me with no warning and would not turn over my car without payment. The personnel at the garage implied that their manager had unilaterally changed the policy and refused to refund me for double charging. This is a fraudulent misrepresentation of pricing.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We always strive to make the booking process as easy as possible for you and are sorry to hear that you were unaware of our oversize vehicle fee. Please note that before our website allows you to finalize your booking, it is required that you acknowledge and accept our terms and conditions which states that an oversize fee will be collected at the location if your vehicle does not meet the standard requirement. The general rule that determines if a vehicle is oversize requires the vehicle to be 181 inches in length or longer, or, 65 inches in height or higher.

Bathroom Restriction
I'm any old man and parked at this location for the first time after a long drive. I really had to pee and the attendant refused to let me use their bathroom. I park at many other places and I'm always allowed to the bathroom. I was insulted by this refusal
