The costomer service was bad

Yesterday, I experienced a great deal of frustration trying to log in to my account, but without success!
I telephoned customer services and spoke to an extremely knowledgable and helpful gentleman called Harris.He was very patient and empathetic and did his best to assist me, but told me that the problem needed further investigation. He said he would get back to me at a time of my choosing today, which he did. With the help of the IT team he was able to rectify the issue and assured me that the problem was not of my making! If you need any help, I can not recommend him more highly. He was a joy to work with, not always the case with companies these days. If you need help, ask for HARRIS ! Many thanks, Monica Merrill

ii.co.uk have just released emails about new Essentail service plans for investing - cheaper ones - which i didn't quite understand. if you can get hold of Callum at their call centre he's pretty good at explaining.

Had an issue with account closures and spoke to Chloe B. She was very helpful and gave me all the information i required in a kind courteous and patient way. She even asked if there was anything else she could help with which helped me remember something else. Great service

Farhana was clear and understood my concerns re a cash deposit that was not showing up on the system. She investigated and addressed my query efficiently and effectively within an acceptable period of time putting my mind at rest that the money hadn’t gone astray and would be dealt with manually.

Great customer service and technical support from Bambi in helping sort out a series of queries on my II account. !st class

Had an issue of my own doing resolved professionally and with good humour by the two Dan's. It is so unusual nowadays to have your call answered promptly and come away happy. This is my regular experience with ii.

I had an Isa account which I needed closing spoken with both Andrew Schofield and Michael excellent customer service resolved my queries quickly and were very friendly hard to receive good customer service these days

I had an issue accessing using my Lasting Power Attorney on another account. Robert, who answered the call, understood the issue and quickly adjusted the system to grant me access.

Jodie has been fantastic and a credit to ii. She helped me through a first time situation and put me at ease. On the strength of this I will happily recommend ii to all I know

I can't speak highly enough of the assistance given by Sara in Customer Services who spent a considerable amount of time resolving a complex problem (which had been of my own making!). Relative beginners in using ii, as well as those who are not necessarily overly confident with computing issues, the sympathetic and helpful reception given by ii a real confidence boost.

ii customer service is exemplary....real humans focussed on assisting their clients. Farhana sorted my question v promptly today and I got the answer I semi wanted.
Wish list: most of my trades are US$. Their fx conversion rates are extortionate. = 1.5% for £ to $ and 1.5% back again = 3% per transaction overhead as you can only hold £ in your isa a/c, PLUS trading costs.....ouch! Thats roughly equivalent to the total dividend many companies pay me, so no trading profit possible.
There's loads of a/c data held but you can only 'view' most of it. Obviously we cant expect ii to offer endless reports but it would be good to be able to download more of the info to Excel for me to manipulate off site.
So while nothing in this life is perfect, in general ii is a 4.5* broker. Recommend.

I was unable to access my account due to a technical glitch. I phoned ii and spoke to Theresa. She was able to resolve my problem very efficiently indeed. Its clear that ii has a very competent customer services team.

Had trouble with recalling password for logging in. Spoke to Anisah who was absolutely efficient and incredibly helpful and solved my problem.
It sounds from other reviews that II has an excellent staff and I would recommend them strongly for an ISA account.

I phoned ii for information on my account and transferring from another account and spoke to Matty who was significantly helpful and exceptionally professional.

I phoned for help accessing my account. Got though quickly and Robert was really helpful and quickly resolved the issue. He also checked if I needed more support.

Vanessa from II was great. She answered all my questions in relation to a new SIPP account and was able to provide guidance for certain forms in relation to the transfer. Thanks for your help again.
