Independent Mortgages were fantastic throughout the process of securing a mortgage for our first property. Nay and Hermione in particular were extremely helpful - very responsive, friendly, and willing to do anything they could to help speed up the process. I’d strongly recommend this mortgage broker.

I really cannot recommend Nay and Hermione @ Independent Mortgage Associates more highly. They are absolute superstars. I can't believe I haven't used them sooner to advise on my mortgage offers/ renewals. It is mad that their service to you is FREE - they recover a small commission from the relevant lender (and the cost is not passed on to you i.e. you still receive the same rate as if you didn't use a broker). Literally anyone who mentions mortgages to me now gets the same instant response: "you need to speak to Nay".

Excellent service from start to finish. Everything explained very clearly. The process was smooth and hitch free. My wife and I are now enjoying the life time mortgage secured. Thank you to Liam and Paige.

This is the second time IM have helped us secure a mortgage. They were absolutely brilliant. So helpful and efficient. We would use them again and we would highly recommend them.

So we found IMA on google, read the reviews and got an appointment with Naomi, she was great and found the mortgage for us, no fuss just great service. She then passed us on to Hermione who has also been great, I will be definitely using them in 5 years when we remortgage and will advise anybody else to use them. They follow up and check everything is ok. Top 5 star rating thanks for everything.

I have been using this company for many years now. Probably 5/6 moves !! The whole team are wonderful. But I must mention Liane. She is amazing , she knows what I want in my mortgage product and always gets me a great deal. Strange how we share huge family moments with people we never meet. But Liane had given me advice before during and after at many crossroads in my life. It’s like taking to an old friend. No one was more helpful in my house buying experience than Hermione and Nay.

They went above and beyond the Mortgage Adviser role and helped with chasing the solicitor and estate agent as well as giving me advice throughout.

They managed to secure me a great deal before all the interest rates shot up and managed to help keep my rate when my first property fell through.

Their hard work was greatly appreciated and definitely will be going back!

I was recommended Independent Mortgage Associates from a friend so I got in touch and had an initial chat. They were very friendly, helpful and made my understanding of the possible mortgage options and rates very clear. This was highly appreciated as this was my first property purchase. They were able to get a mortgage in principal set up very quickly for me to start my search. Once I had an offer accepted, they were able to get the mortgage offer confirmed just as fast. They checked in with me regularly through the whole process to ensure I was happy and all was proceeding as expected. Overall, I would recommend IMA for anyone going through a property purchase. I would be sure to return to them in the future

I can't imagine a better experience than the one I had with Independent Mortgage Associates. I got my mortgage with them, but also the build and contents insurance for my home, as well as life insurance. Alex and Ellie guided me and my wife through the whole process, explaining everything in detail and answering all the questions I had with competence, patience and kindness. They are always available and reachable. I could always talk to them on the phone and quickly replied to all my emails. Regarding the mortgage, I was offered the best products on the market and, once I chose the one for me, Alex was able to get a decision in principle for me and to fix the rate with the lender for three months. This way I was able to search and find the home of my dreams with peace of mind that my rate wouldn't go up. That is great, considering this troubled times. They also didn't ask me a penny for their services. It's the lenders and the insurances that pay them a commission so I saved some money too. They also referenced me to a qualified surveyor, who revealed to be a great professional who discovered some important flaws with the property that we were able to address before completing the purchase. All in all, my experience was great and I can't recommend them enough. I will surely go back to them when it will be time to remortgage for the next fixed term.
