This contract was sold as a Bumper-to-bumper, (To quote the Sales Agent) Zero Deductible, covering ANY DISABLEMENT, covering everything OTHER than LISTED EXCEPTIONS to the contract (Stuff normally covered by regular maintenance ) I have never made a claim until NOW. Had the ENGINE TEMP climb suddenly and, got it into the DEALERSHIP to DIAGNOSE the problem..... Found it has to do with the OIL COOLER, which IS the LOWER portion of the RADIATOR (which is a LISTED PART) The contract stipulates that it COVERS the "RADIATOR which is ALSO THE OIL COOLER" ... Well the REPAIRS required PARTS that are DIRECTLY associated with the OIL COOLER part of the RADIATOR that goes INTO the Intake manifold, plus considerable LABOR to get to said PARTS. THEY DENIED THE CLAIM.... stating... "THE REQUIRED PARTS ARE NOT LISTED IN THE CONTRACT, THEREFORE THE REPAIRS ARE NOT COVERED..!"
Well, they don't LIST INDIVIDUAL PARTS, they list GENERALIZED PARTS, and NOW they are claiming cause "THOSE PARTICULAR PARTS, or SPECIFIC PARTS are NOT LISTED THEREFORE THEY DONT HAVE TO COVER ANY PART OF THE CLAIM....!" "She said you should have read the TERMS of the contract...!" So the ONE time I needed the SERVICE CONTRACT to take care of the SERVICING of my vehicle, they leave me PAYING THE ENTIRE BILL!
I WANT A FULL REFUND, THEY SOLD THAT CONTRACT UNDER FALSE PRETENCES, GIVING PEOPLE THE ILLUSION THEY ARE COVERED AND AT THE FIRST NEED, THEY DROP YOU LIKE A ROCK.... CLAIMING... I've been paying my premiums as scheduled for nearly 2 years & I now have an issue (the AC in my MINI) that needs to be repaired. I have called the company 15 times, & only spoken to one less than helpful person. All calls involved extensive hold times, & in 14 of the 15 calls, I was disconnected after being on hold for 15-20 mins. I finally got a claim number. That was last week. I have sent several emails as well. My mechanic also cannot get thru to a person to get the claim authorized. No one, & especially not a business, has time to sit around, wait on hold & be hung up on, multiple times several days in a row. It's August, in AZ, and I need to have my AC repaired, period. It's supposed to be covered. This company is absolutely useless & continues to blame their poor response times (or lack of any response) on COVID-19. There is no excuse, except that they're scamming people, apparently.
Never use Infinite Auto Protection!!!!
Infinite Auto Protection will play every game in the book to avoid paying $1 in claims. It's a very easy formula: They require the insured to call one number and get a claim authorization number, which is given to the repair shop. Repair shop also has to call the same number, but select a different option, in order to get authorization for the repairs. Infinite simply does not answer the repair shop calls required before any repairs can take place. I had my car in the shop for 6 business days and they called multiple times per day with one of 2 results: 1) they were hung up on or 2) nobody ever picks up. They stayed on the line up to 40 mins and the call was never answered. I even called Infinite and managed to get thru only to have the only person that works there, Vivi, tell me that I could not connect her with the repair shop. I had to pay out of pocket for all costs. This has happened twice to me.
One repair goes back to February 2021 and Infinite ignores my emails and tells me the claim is in process when I call, but give me no expectation as to when I will receive an explanation, much less the money from the claim. Infinite has not paid 1 dime of the claims, nor informed me as to why. This would all be eliminated if the repair shop could simply interact with Infinite over the web.
This is a horrible company and I do not wish anyone else to suffer the agony I have in dealing with them.

Do NOT use and pay for extended warranty from Infinite Auto Protection. They gladly take your money, but will never answer the phone. Even when you call them during the business hours, the recording tells you that you have called after business hours. The customer service, claims and accounting departments put you on hold and never come back!
If you decide to cancel your policy, they immediately respond, but after cancelling your policy, they will never return your premium. See the many similar reviews online.
If you have the same problems, contact the Michigan Attorney General and the Attorney Generals of your states. Additionally, contact Eastern Michigan BBB, FTC (877) 482-4357, and the FBI, IC3.GOV.

so finally someone answered the phone only to say that they received our faxed request for service and our auto repair place has been placed on a list for a call back. They could not provide any information as to how long it would take for them to call our auto repair shop only that there was a list and it could take some time. What is your guess? Mine is "never"

There should be a zero star rating. This company does not deserve even one star; it took my cash for two vehicles for 5 years and then I find that they do not have a license to operate in California. I've ask for my money back and all I hear is crickets!!! I've been robed and doesn't seem to be much that I can do except report them to the BBB! BFD!
Complaint sent to FTC
On January 29, 2020 I bought a third party warranty for a vehicle with 89000 miles. A 2016 GMC SIERRA 1500. I paid the warranty
company $2,000 upfront and received a contract outlining what they cover and what they didn't. (copies available). 18 months later in
June of 2021 I filed the claim with the warranty company for a transmission failure. I followed the required process for submitting a
claim and was asked for numerous arbitrary documents including a copy of my title, copy of a sales contract, and a copy of my
registration. In addition I also provided a copy of every service record from 2016 to 2021. The company denied the claim and I paid
for the transmission myself. I subsequently submitted a request to cancel the remaining warranty and received confirmation that it
had been canceled as of July 17th 2021. Over the course of the next 7 months I sent 10 emails I made numerous phone calls that
went mostly unanswered. The one phone call that was answered I was told that they were understaffed and that the billing
department was working on processing my refund of $1,200 but they could not provide a timeframe for when it would be complete.
June 2nd 2022 I called again and someone actually picked up. They confirmed that my cancellation request was still in processing
and I asked if I could submit a claim on my engine that needed to be replaced instead of canceling the contract they said yes and
provided me with a new claim number. I proceeded to jump through all the same hoops again only to have the claim denied again.
The cost of the two components that I filed claimed on total more than $13,000. I spoke with an attorney and he said that the cost of
arbitration would probably exceed that but I don't want this to happen to anyone else please do something about this company. I can
produce any of the aforementioned records upon request.

As with everyone else, no one answers your calls or emails at Infinite. Pretty sure I got scammed out of my $2K! Do not use this company! Purchase through a dealership, maybe they will be able to suggest someone better. This company sucks!
Update: Finally received one phone call back after I threatened to get a lawyer involved. But nothing since. Repair shop can't get ahold of them either. This company still sucks and I'm gonna be out 2k plus the repairs. What a bunch of crap! Don't use them!

This company is a complete scam. I paid $1850.00 for their platinum coverage plan. Nine months later I had a repair issue and they wanted me to agree to have used control arms that had 80,000 miles on them installed. Instead I took their meager money and purchased new arms. They also only covered 30% of the labor cost. Now I have another claim and they are completely refusing to cover it. I just Googled the company and found that they have been banned from doing business in the state of California. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !!!!

I PURCHASED THIS WARRANTY IN CASH ON 9-8-2020 for ~$2000 AND CANCELED DUE TO the company denying claims that should have been covered.
I canceled my policy on Dec 31, 2020, whereas I didn't receive an e-mail processing my refund until Aug 20, 2021 stating that I had a refund of $682.06 due to one claim approved totaling less than $300 (hence my negative 4 rating because if this would not have been covered I would have rated Infinite as a negative 5) and it should take no more then 14 business days. It is now the end of March 2022. I have called and e-mailed them several times to no avail, set on hold for about 30 to 45 minutes and then the phone just hang up. This has occured approximately 6 times now. Previously, they would state the claim is in process in the billing dept and will be expedited.
I am currently gathering all of my paperwork to send to the Attorney General in MS fraud division. I will file full fraud charges against them with the help of several close friends that are attorneys. I will also contact the other person on this site to try and file charges as a group as well.

Had warranty with Infinite Auto Protection for 3 years before I tried to file my first claim. Repair shop tried for 2 days to get through to someone and then gave up. Told us we had to get Infinite to call them. We could never get anyone to answer phone. Ended up paying out of pocket for service. Second claim, same thing. They just don't answer phone. Third claim this January 2022, engine lost compression and dealership said repair was going to be very expensive. Could contact Infinite, so I sold car for scrap. Anyone reading this review... Do not, I repeat do not pay for a warranty with this company. Their BBB rating is an F. Don't believe their ad. Bunch of crooks.

I cancelled my policy in July of 2021 in September I received an e-mail stating that I had a refund of $1225 and it should take no more then 14 business days. It is now the end of February and still no refund. I have called and e-mailed them several times, set on hold for about 30 to 45 minutes and when they answer I am told it is in process in the billing dept.
I live in Florida so kind of hard to go to small claims court in Michigan.
I sent all my paper work to the Attorney General in Michigan's fraud division and never heard anything back from them.
Anyone interested in going in together to file a lawsuit against Infinite.
