Terrible site has taken £39.00 despite me cancelling within the period. When I have contacted their customer services they say they have no record of my account. I keep trying to login and it will not allow me and keeps coming up with a message saying that the link (which they have just sent me) does not work. Absolute scam. DO NOT USE them. I have taking out a formal complaint with the Ombudsman.

Wish I had looked at trust pilot before using this website. I did one search that came up with nothing and immediately cancelled my subscription- or so I thought. They have scammed me out of two payments of £39.50. I asked for a refund but hold out little hope, There must be some way of reporting info-perso.com for improper business practices.

So..what I have learned is to NEVER again give my credit cards details to any unknown company before checking companies reviews.

I (thought I) never signed for a subscription, called their customer service today. They were supernice. They said when I once paid 50 p for some nr (I do not recall that but that is my problem now) this meant that I am automatically subscribed to their services in the future.

Their business model might be to charge subs from people like me that have 35 pounds a month drawn without noticing it. When we notice it they are so nice so we would not complain to the EU- level customer protection authorities. I have learned my lesson, lost "only" 200 euros, will be very careful in the future. Blaming myself basically for being sloppy with my card.

Same as all the others 50p taken then £39.90 "subscription" taken from my credit card.

Awful company.
I found it whilst Tryna recover an old account. The website dosnt make it clear what so ever that it’s 50p then a £39 a month. There is a button on there site to cancel which I discovered today. After having 2 payments come out. Of £39 each I sent an email in which there was no response. This is a total scam do not fall for it.

Terrible company, paid the 50p and then they took the £39. There is no one to contact to cancel or to unsubscribe!!
We can't get our money back, our bank is helping us

Edit: I have now been in touch with 'customer services' via email. They assure me my
' premium subscription' has been cancelled but refuse to refund the MONTHLY subscription of £39 as it 'clearly states on their website the 50p is for a two day free trial'??!! I am trying to get a refund but they are refusing saying we agreed with the very clear terms and conditions!
Our bank has now blocked all transactions with the company.

Like many other people I was shocked when the £39 charge went through. At least customer service did contact me but I will not get that £39 back. I am also waiting for them to confirm the cancellation of the unrequested regular subscription. Small print is a disgrace when the charge up front is .50.
No one would be requesting 78 unknown telephone numbers in a month.
Since none of the numbers I searched for came up I then tried my own telephone number and it could not find that. So this web site is clearly a scam and from what others have written there is no way to access the data they say they can supply for mobile numbers.

So this is the new way to scam people? WOW, just WOW. I used it to find details about a person I lost touch with. Thank God I trusted my gut and used a disposable, one-time use card. The transaction also never went through since I don’t keep money in that account and I also reported it as fraudulent. In addition to that, I NEVER received the report. So I paid 0,5€ anyways for absolutely NOTHING. SHAME on you!

J'essayais de retrouver quelqu'un de longue date sur votre site, et on m'a demandé 50 centimes, et tout ça pour n'avoir aucun résultat.

Parce que, bien évidemment, bande d'escrocs que vous êtes, après une recherche laissant penser que l'information désirée a été trouvé, le site demande de payer pour envoyer le dossier sur celui ci, aucune information "désolé on n'a rien trouvé". Mais 0,50€ a été retiré quand même de mon compte.

J'ai même essayé en mettant "Donald Trump" dans les recherches, juste pour tester : rien ! 2 jours plus tard je vois que mon compte a été gelé parce que votre site à prélever, sans même m'être abonné à quoi que ce soit, 39 € de mon compte.

50 centimes, je peux l'accepter, et encore c'est moi même qui est décidé de faire la transaction. Mais 39 € !!! Sans même que je sois d'accord ! Mais vous êtes malades ! Sans parler du fait que je peux plus rien faire avec ma carte maintenant.

Scam Company & are the same as Data-App.Net which scammed me in May last year. I was looking for a telephone number on 21/11/23 and Info-record.com came up as the top of the list but having been scammed last year, I carefully read all the conditions and small print. At that point I realised that everything on their site was the same as Data-App.Net. They charge 50p for no info then immediately take a month's subscription, You MUST contact your Bank and block any future payments otherwise they will continue to take payments each month, Contacting the firm does NOT work. I lost £60 ie they took the money 2 months running as I thought I'd cancelled it by unsubscribing & confirming by email and I know of others who lost even more.
Both firms are under a company name of Ancestor Tree Ltd and registered at the same address in Ireland.
25/11/23 Info-record.com is now asking for a reference number - I don't have one as they never replied to my emails. They also want my email address, Full name and telephone No. Hmmm! That's a difficult one. Give all my details to someone that's already scammed me. I don't think so.

Just made mistake of paying the 50p trial fee now after getting nothing I'm desperately trying to cancel the subscription before £39 is taken but my email is not being recognised there's no confimation emails from company to me, yet they have my bank details so guess its time to contact my bank before they try it.

It kept taking my details, but not coming back with a code or password, I cancelled my card to avoid any false transactions being made on my card.
They have a call centre our of the country.

I thought it was legit but it isn’t don’t trust

I wrote a review yesterday which is below. Since writing that review(I used a different log in as I had lost my usual TrustPilot log in details but have found them now) I have additional information to share which is important. But as TP has already said it may take down my original review unless I provide Additional information, which I have, I will be very careful what I say.
Given that the name of the company that appeared on my bank statement when the payments were taken did not match either the name of the website or indeed the name of the company that my payment receipt for the original .50p payment said would appear I began to feel a bit uneasy about it.
Firstly given the fact that it was a completely different company that took my payment I contacted my bank to flag it to them for their response and advice which they have given but it would not be right to put that response on here. In addition I also contacted the company that appeared on my bank statement for their comment and they too have responded and again it’s best I do not put that response on here.
This is a case of buyer beware and read the reviews BEFORE you give out your card details as it could be far less stressful if you do.

Beware! Do not use. I needed to try and find a family member I had lost touch with. Went onto this site, paid my .50p which came up as polar media, and then was sent a password that didn’t work. 2 days later they took £39 from my account again shows as Polar Medai. Clearly I missed the really tiny banner at the top of the page saying that it’s £39 per month after 2 days. Now when I try to go onto the website it comes up with “there is an internal errror” and the tel no goes to an answerphone in French… so I can’t even contact them to cancel. In any transaction there is a 14 day cooling off period which this company clearly don’t honour. This is a huge scam steer clear. I have of course contacted my bank to alert them of this fraudulent scam that I am unable to cancel. This is shocking behaviour given how everyone is struggling financially. Shame on them.

SCAM!! Paid the 50p for the service and it actually didn’t take me to a page at the end. No mention on a subscription at all and then £39 taken from account.
Requested refund and unsubscribe absolute SCAM!

I was trying to find a person's address. I googled ' free electoral roll search' and info-record.com was top of the list. It said 'Find anyone online in seconds, free personal records look-up'. So I clicked on the link, did a search and the website brought up a message to say they had found the person's last three addresses but I had to pay 50p to get the report. So I paid by credit card and a message appeared saying they couldn't find the person but I could look for other people for 48 hours and after that I would have to pay £39 per month. I was really annoyed, especially since I then noticed in small print on the top of their webpage that the charge of 50p for 48 hours had been there after I clicked the link which had promised it was free.
They then sent me an email giving me a password to search for people, but it didn't work!! I began to worry that they would try to take £39 from my credit card so I cancelled my 'trial' and emailed their customer services with a complaint. Of course they just said that I had cancelled their service and there would be no further charges. I was in a rush and being careless -I should have looked more carefully at the webpage, but I wouldn't have minded paying if they had found the person, but they just lied to get 50p. If they do that to all customers they will make lots of money for doing nothing.
