Excellent customer service and price and no cancellation charge on refund.

A decent quote, easy to set up and easy to cancel early for when you actually sell the house, it made me have confidence in them if I ever had to claim.

I had to find unoccupied insurance at an extremely stressful time. I had never had to use this type of insurance previously and looked at a few companies but found the protection they offered was very limited. Insuristic was different, offering all of the cover I needed. Rob and the team answered my queries quickly, professionally and in an easy to understand way. They made the process easy both initially and also when I had to renew due to problems with probate. When the house sold there was still a period left on the insurance, Insuristic immediately issued a full refund with no cancellation deductions. I cannot fault the service provided in both their approach and cover given - thank you to all at Insuristic.

I contacted Insuristic after being passed on their details after my dad passed. We had to sell his house but needed unoccupied house insurance. Insuristic specialise in this.
During what was obviously a difficult time, I was overcome with relief right from when I made the initial enquiry, through to the quotation bit, and then to the provision of the insurance (at a very reasonable rate), with absolutely no over legal stuff to blind you just when you don't need it!
Rob & his team were the ultimate professionals, efficient & did what they said, when they said and it was really great to deal with real people.

Their website offers really helpful information about everything that needs to be considered when insuring an empty property. Good communication and amazingly prompt refund once my Dad’s house sold…. would thoroughly recommend 😊

I hadn’t realised this type of specialist insurance had existed until I was referred by a friend in the insurance industry, as I approached the sale of my Father’s home after his death. Very easy to set up, and renew. Great comms. And a rapid refund when the house finally sold. Highly recommended.

There's good reason why this company has such a high rating - they are absolutely brilliant at what they do.

My aunt passed away, leaving her house unoccupied, and I spent ages looking for a company to provide Insurance at a sensible rate. I wasn't too impressed with costs/service provided from my initial call around and then I found Intruistic .... immediate responses and complete understanding of the situation. (I had spent over 30 mins with one company, who asked the most ridiculous questions and then said someone would have to call me back in the next few days! I told them not to bother.)

The clinchers for me were:
1. All the other companies wanted WEEKLY photographs of the inside of the property which was simply not possible with there being a 250 mile distance between me and the property. Intruistic ask for 30 day photos which was fine as we had to attend the property for other reasons each month.

2. The amazing no cancellation fees with full pro-rata refunds. I paid for 3 months but we sold the property 2 months later and I was given an immediate refund for the final month.

3. The communications from the company are second to none.

I cannot recommend Intruistic highly enough. They made a very difficult, and potentially complicated process, so easy to work through.

Easy to set up. Used for an unoccupied house going through probate. Simple terms and conditions with reasonable and practical timescales for visiting the property unlike some insurance policies.

Easy to cancel insurance when house sale completed, refunded months not used with no fee.

Good communication from the company during this period. Would recommend.

Really impressed with this company, took out a 3 month policy but after 9 days was no longer needed. They only charged pro-rata for the time I’d had the policy, no charges or hidden fees. Would definitely recommend & use again. 5 star service

Found this company online after my father passed away, we had to insure his house so needed unoccupied probate cover. There was no hard sell, all done online and when the house sold was just one email to get cover finalized and they do refund you on a pro rata basis, no fees for cancelation either. the refund only took a few days to go through. I only had to contact them three times and each time i got a reply within an hour, and they were really helpful each time. cant fault them in any way.

Until I found the Insuristic website, getting the proper insurance to cover my unoccupied property during probate was a bit of a nightmare. The cover levels and policy conditions seemed inconsistent, wrapped up in jargon, and many were extremely basic.

So I found the Insuristic website really helpful - it's very clearly written and explains all the options (and pitfalls) of insuring through the probate period. Then, when I contacted them with a couple of queries, they responded quickly with clear explanations.

Having compared the types and levels of cover with quotes from other insurers, I found that the policy was perfect for my needs and bought it.

Ultimately, I suppose you never truly know how good it all is until you actually need to make a claim. This is the same with any insurer. But given the experience so far, Insuristic seem to be the sort of company that takes pride in its specialism and genuinely wants to help people make the right choices at a difficult time. Hopefully, I never need to call on them, but I've got a good feeling they will be there should I need them.

Update on 07/04/2026. The property has now been sold. I found the inspection requirements really straightforward and easy to comply with (a visit and 2 photos every 30 days). When I cancelled the insurance after selling the property, I received a pro-rated, commission-free refund on the same day I notified them. What more could you ask for?

As administrator of my brother's estate, I needed to arrange unoccupied property insurance. Insuristic made the process extremely simple and the insurance was set up very quickly.
After the house was sold, I cancelled the policy as advised and was pleasantly surprised with the efficiency of the process - it just took a single email from me and it was cancelled the same day.
Furthermore, not only did they not charge a cancellation fee, I received a refund for the remaining time on the policy. I don't know if this is usual with this type of insurance, but it was a welcome surprise to me.
Based on my experience with Insuristic, I can wholeheartedly recommend them.

The process of arranging appropriate insurance cover for an empty house as an executor was incredibly smooth and quick with Insuristic. It was all sorted in under half an hour and all the personnel I had contact with were extremely helpful, and empathetic about my difficulty in sourcing appropriate insurance cover for my deceased mother's property. I would highly
recommend using them.

As executor of my late mother's property I needed to take out insurance for her house while it stood empty prior to being sold under probate. Insuristic made the whole process very quick and easy, including preparing a renewal quote/policy when it was needed.
They were also helpful and proactive in reminding me to prepare the house for the winter months. The cost of the policy was very reasonable, and the fact that there was a pro-rata refund when the house sold prior to the end of the insurance term was an additional bonus.
