My driving instructor was very friendly and patient. He taught me everything that I needed to know to pass and he was very attentive to what I was doing to ensure that I always did the correct procedure (helped to drill things into my brain :) )

Honestly this should be 0 stars, this company is a total scam. They will take your money pass you to an instructor who will then refuse to let you sit your test and resell your test to someone else at an extortionate rate. You will receive NO lessons and then they refuse to refund.

My instructor Hassan was brilliant. Would definitely recommend if your planning on taking a test in Millhil/Hendon

I bought a 15 hour intensive driving course along with the booking cancellation date on the 6th May due to not being able to even book a test anywhere locally or a couple of hours away. I was given a test date in November around 6 weeks later, and to my surprise, I got emailed with a new test date for the 27th August in Poole with driving instructor Paul Ashford, whom was absolutely incredible. I passed first time with 1 fault! Without him, I would have never been so successful.

Well there don't get in contact with you to change your test , there cancel your test because there can't get you a instructor you are paying for a fast track I have contacted them and then there have updated my account, there have cancelled test because there can't get instructor and I have been free all of the time and you have to keep sending emails back and forth to cancel and it states £35 non-refundable but are taking £250+ off and I can't book a test because there won't cancel my booking I have got 2 months to wait for a test and I hope been waiting 2½ months so far

I usually never write reviews but I paid a £175 deposit for driving lessons with the expectation of having an instructor allocated in time for my October test. Weeks went by with no instructor assigned, and when I asked for a refund, I was told the deposit was non-refundable. They only allocated an instructor after I had went through my bank to charge back. No service was provided, and I felt the handling of my booking was unprofessional and unhelpful. I wouldn’t recommend this service

Absolutely fantastic and worth using. Intensive lessons took all the stress out of finding an instructor and booking my theory and practical tests. They were able to get on cancellations for the practical test so that I didn't have too long to wait. My instructor Robin was fantastic and I passed my theory and practical tests first time. Passed my test 1st time - Raj was great!

I paid £143 on 01/04/2025 for a 'Practical Test Only' service, which included an £81 'fast-tracking' fee for a driving test.

The company's subsequent response to my review contains inaccuracies. At booking, I had a valid theory test certificate expiring 14/04/2025. Intensive Lessons UK's terms (Clause 14) state a 6 month validity requirement for them to book a fast-track practical test. As such, the £81 'fast-tracking' service I paid for was impossible for them to deliver from the outset, as no practical test could be booked by them under their own rules. No practical test was ever secured.

The company wrongly claimed I 'declined' to retake my theory test; I simply didn't proceed with paying them for a separate theory test booking they offered. They also falsely stated my bank 'sided with them'; I am actively challenging my bank's initial decision.

Furthermore, Intensive Lessons UK failed to respond to my formal complaint email sent on 27 June 2025, despite their stated 7 day response time.

Although my relocation means I no longer require a UK licence, the core issue is that I paid £143 for a service, £81 of which was for 'fast-tracking' that was demonstrably undeliverable from their end. A full refund has been refused for a service not provided. Proceed with caution.

I’m so happy I chose Intensive Lessons! The whole experience was smooth and professional from start to finish. My instructor was incredibly patient, knowledgeable and supportive, which really helped me build my confidence on the road. The lessons were well-structured and focused on the areas I needed to improve. I passed my test and couldn’t be more grateful! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable driving school. Raj was an absolutely fantastic driving instructor and I couldn’t recommend him more for anyone who wants to pass their test. He recommend the exact number of hours he felt I needed in order to pass and his feedback and observations are extremely clear and thorough and he helped me to iron out bad habits so I could very quickly pass my test at a difficult test centre (Loughborough). I felt very well prepared for my test and passed first time. Thank you Raj you are a legend!

Rude. Unhelpful. Don't honor their money back guarantee. Awful customer service. They won't give a single f about your experience.

I’d like to start by thanking my instructor, Getachew, who was absolutely fantastic, kind, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. He stuck to the rules, explained everything clearly, and always made sure I understood the why behind what I was learning. He was also very respectful of my learning style and often asking if I wanted to try things my way first, and then gently guiding me afterwards with feedback on what could be improved. Thanks to his support and calm, structured approach, I passed my driving test on the first attempt, all within a month!

As for Intensivelessons.co.uk, they were quick and efficient when it came to booking my test after payment. Although my original test date had to be rescheduled due to examiner availability, they managed to secure a new slot for me within two weeks, which was a real lifesaver. Overall, the experience was smooth, well-organised, and I’d definitely recommend them to anyone keen to get behind the wheel with confidence and speed.

This is in addition to the Review below. Their reply is disappointing and they have never addressed the legitimate concerns raised. They do make one important point though which I tried to highlight below - read everything very, very carefully before signing up.

Please be wary about going through this company. All it does is provide a link between learner drivers to local instructors. Lessons are provided on the availability of the local instructor only after a large outlay of money. It advertises itself as an intensive course which it is not in the manner most would understand. If you do nothing else please read the small print - their complaints procedure is appalling despite safety concerns being raised, including the instructor spending time texting and on social media during the lesson, which were dismissed without comment.

I was promised 35 hours of lessons for my daughter prior to the test booked by the company. We have had to chase the instructor by text for every lesson, and despite speaking to him and the company about scheduling in more lessons, my daughter was only given 1-2 lessons per week. She will have completed less than half of the hours paid for before her test in August. When I spoke to the company about my concerns they were dismissive and did not resolve the issue. A total waste of money - stick to a local firm as this is not an intensive course.

My driving instructor Peter, he has helped me so much and gave me the knowledge and skills I needed to pass, such a down to earth person and I couldn't have been given a better driving instructor
