Thanks to Paul and The IPFS team once again. I have had several mortgages through IPFS, getting the best deal possible and managing my complex financial situation.

I was really concerned about my buy to let mortgage term coming to an end and due to my age and financial situation was thinking that I might be forced to sell up!
However, right from the start Paul Smulovitch of IPFS relieved me of my worries and got to work.
Paul was able to answer all of my questions and always got back to me almost immediately if I left messages with questions.
The procedure was straight forward with me having very little to do and it only took 7 days for me to receive my new mortgage offer !
Ok, this is service is not cheap but worth every penny if you are looking for a stress free and easy to work with company.

Short version: If you want a friendly, experienced and professional mortgage advisor / broker, then Paul at IPFS is for you. I couldn’t recommend more highly and his services are worth every penny (and more!)

Long Version: Paul helped us with the purchase of our first home and came highly recommended. Despite us fearing we would not be able to get a mortgage (I’d just started a new job and our child just started nursery), Paul was able to discuss our options and get us a competitive offer in the a very short period of time. A large part of this was driven by Paul’s efficiency and experience, but also by his ability to lay out our options in a clear and coherent manner (meaning we could make an informed decision with confidence).

Paul’s style makes him very approachable and he always made himself available. I lost count over the number of times I contacted him throughout the house purchase process to ask for advice (we were in a complex chain). His knowledge / experience makes him credible, meaning that we felt confident we were in safe hands throughout the whole process. Paul constantly had our best interest and worked tirelessly to deliver. An example of this is him reapplying (on a number of occasions) to ensure we were getting the best rates possible, even after we had our initial mortgage offer (for context: mortgage rates fell incrementally over the six months between us applying and exchanging).

When we started house hunting, I questioned if we needed a mortgage broker. But I can honestly say that my experience with Paul/IPFS means I’m confident this was money well spent as it made what is a scary process a lot less stressful and daunting. Thanks again, Paul!

We were updated on a regular basis by Paul, with no need to chase anything at any point. Our emails were always responded to in a very short time, with the response being that it had already been sorted.

We were a little apprehensive in paying a broker, when there are comparison sites and brokers with no fees, but we're glad we did, as it was worth every penny to get the advice, guidance and reassurance that was provided making this whole process run smoothly. Absolutely recommend!
