We had an amazing experience. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. They talked us through all the options, and gave us all the information we needed to select our dream couch. Since receiving our couch we could not be more happy. We are also really happy with the advice to buy the couch protector and cleaning kit at the time of purchase as we were reassured with all the warranty! Many thanks for such a good experience

Faulty jute rug. 1 month on the floor under a sofa and ottoman with very low foot traffic and it is unravelling throughout the entire rug. Raised warranty concern and requested replacement or refund. Claims officer Ursula denied claim and stated minor shedding was standard and highlighted their policy and referenced I bought it with this as a disclaimer. I have images and went back again and stated this was not minor shedding like a wool rug. The jute is unravelling throughout in it’s entirely. It look terrible. There is no way to thread it back through as the fibres are short and sticking up everywhere. It was poorly crafted. Denied again. Off to fair trading with my images. Will never shop at James Lane again. The products are expensive and they clearly have no regard for customer retention. I do not recommend their Chinese imported products or their customer service.

I ordered six items online from James Lane. The delivery dates online advised 3-5 business days and 3 weeks. After I paid, I received an email advising some of the items I ordered are not in stock and will not be delivered until end of September. Expected delivery dates online are false. I replied to the email requesting more information. My email has been ignored. James Lane is dishonest and falsely advertised delivery times. Terrible communication.

Friendly staff amazing prices and a good range to choose from. Highly recommend if you are looking for your next bed.

My partner and I purchased the Riley couch over the weekend at James Lane, Nunawading. We were assisted by Alex, who was absolutely lovely and showed so much patience as we decided on what we wanted and what was right for our family. He helped us work out the right couch configuration and colour and was very knowledgable on the product as well as the ordering and delivery process. We felt so well taken care of and really enjoyed shopping with James Lane. We can't fault the range or the wonderful service. Looking forward to bringing our new couch into our space!

The delivery process was so streamlined with the live tracking and the delivery people were so professional and fast with the assembly. Highly recommend James Lane and the bed is just beautiful 🤩

Very efficient and friendly shopping experience .

The dining chairs that we bought are very comfortable and reasonably priced - exactly what we were looking for.
The warehouse is about 30 minutes drive from the store that we purchased the chairs from, but we were happy to make the drive.

We recently purchased a new Buffet from the Logan store. The service was great with prompt delivery. This piece now serves as our new tv cabinet

Super impressed with James Lane Maroochydore. Very friendly, helpful staff. Shout out to Jess! Bought some beautiful pieces for our new home. A big sale just made the experience even better .... so much so that we have returned 3 times for more bargains!

Delivery was early which was great but the delivery team said there was no paperwork and didn’t know if they included assembly and just dropped the item. Which needs 2 people to setup. When item includes assembly as it’s a marble table! Order 2163867

Cant speak highly enough of staff at Robina store. I needed help with styling a coffee table. So I wasn't spending much, but the staff member spent so much time with me, then found the perfect pieces & even showed me how to arrange the pieces including a vase arrangement. Just impressive.

Unrealistic warranty claim process

The customer service and contact ability of this company is excellent. Once the delivery day was chosen delivery went very smoothly with tracking and even a call from the delivery guys when they were 15 minutes away. The guys that delivered it were extremely efficient
Great experience all round!!

We had our order cancelled AND the administration kept 20%....we had asked when we purchased the items, would it be possible to hold these items in store for 6 + months...told that shouldn't be a problem....I drove 400km to Brisbane to collect them to be told order had been cancelled back in MARCH 2026!!! No notification was sent ....no warning to collect ......nothing!!

Ordered a dark cabinet that arrived with a visible chip on the front face, straight through the veneer to the timber underneath. Veneer is paper thin, so once it's damaged like this there's no way to repair it invisibly — it's permanent.

James Lane's warranty team classified this as a "minor fault" and refused a refund, offering only $300 compensation to keep the damaged item or a replacement on a 4 week backorder. Their own definition of a minor fault requires the issue to be fixable, but they didn't address that part at all, only whether the item was still technically usable. A defect you can't fix and can see every day isn't minor in my view.

I also tried to leave a review about the item itself on their own website and it was never published, which says a lot about how transparent they are with customer feedback.

If you're considering anything with a veneer finish from James Lane, be aware that any damage is permanent, and be prepared for a difficult process if it arrives faulty.

Great store but receipts always under receipted. They never include the transaction fees.
