I have always thought the Wigmore Street store excellent due to the range of products on display.
Thats why I made a trip there when needing to assess options for electric toothbrushes with pressure sensor (recommended by my dentist). To my disappointment, they had only a meagre array of electric toothbrushes, and none at all with pressure sensors. I also wanted to look at SAD lamps. None at all. Plenty of "assistants", which in itself is a positive thing, but they weren't able to assist me due to the products not being available (and I don't think they knew what a SAD lamp was)

Faulty knee brace
I bought a knee brace from John Bell & Croydon. After using it 6 times the Velcro failed. After contacting the manufacturer who said I needed to deal with the retailer JBC were very indifferent to my complaint but in the end said the only thing they could do is send it back to the manufacturer after telling me they had a 28 day returns policy. I kept telling them this wasnât a case of me wanting to return it, the product was good it was just faulty however the manageress just kept repeating their 28 day policy. They said they sent it back but the manufacturer said they had a 28 day warranty which I think unlikely. All in all a pretty poor show from an exclusive retailer with a manageress with an extremely brusque manner.
