From modest beginnings in Enfield as a single store in 1971, Jollyes has now grown into one of the leading pet food superstores with over 100 locations across the UK alongside a market-leading position in Northern Ireland. From Perth to Plymouth, Newry to Norwich, at Jollyes customers can find anything for their pet, from pet food, pet toys and an array of pet accessories. Customers are actively encouraged to bring their pets into store, while customers shop because Jollyes people are passionate about pets. Potty about puppies and crazy for cats, no matter what the animal, store colleagues are always on hand to help with anything from product advice, to picking the perfect pet and accessories. Many stores also run community clinics offering vaccinations and other advice from trained vets. Jollyes was named 2023 Pet Retail Chain of the Year at the Pet Industry Federation Awards and was named best retailer under £250m turnover in the 2024 Retail Week awards. Earlier this month it was also named for the first time as one of the best big companies to work for in the Sunday Times annual survey. Frustrating website
Jollyes online pet store was a frustrating experience. Tried to purchase two coats for our tiny dog. The sizes were unavailable at our local Newport (wales) store and we were directed to their online store.
Once online we were unable to check out as we got a repeated message telling us one (but not which one) of the two items in our basket was unavailable.
We tried to pay for both and get a refund for the one that wouldn’t arrive. Couldn’t do that. We tried to but something else and check out. Couldn’t do that. We tried to pay using Klarna. Couldn’t do that. Returned to the shop and they gave the number for the head office which was unmanned.
We went to another outlet in Cardiff to finally buy what we wanted. They were the work size so had to return to exchange.
Moral of the story - sort out the website or stock more in your shops please!!!
Apart from that great shop.

The assistant was willingly helpful and took time ti ensure that my queries were answered. Did not just rush to get a quick sale but took time showing me the different products and explaining about them . Thus wad important as i wad purchasing worming treatment for my new puppy and needed to know the oros and cons of each variety.

Friendly knowledgeable staff
Friendly knowledgeable staff. Huge choice of toys food treats bedding and accessories for a huge range of animals. My local store is always clean and well stocked. My little granddaughter loves to come to Jollyes with me so she can watch the small pets.

Good customers service. Went in first time to buy something’s for the dog and noticed really good price for rabbits pellets cheapest I’ve ever seen. So went back in and bought two bags

Pleasing experience
I liked how everything was in order and easy to find. I like the variety of food stuffs that were in the store as well. Staff that I met with were approachable and friendly. Good customer service!!

We asked two ladies the price of things one said we would have to bring it to the till to check the other totally ignored us. Thins was a box of 150 fat balls which was quite heavy. The young lad at the till was the most helpful
