Most Innovative Hot Water System on the Market

Out of the 3 different hot water systems I have had on my overland camper and Jeep I would definitely recommend the Joolca HOTTAP V2 and the various accessories. The HOTTAP V2 system is the most innovative I have seen on the market, particular with accessories like the off-grid plumbing and pump and Ensuite shower tents. If you are debating between several different brands, purchase the Joolca system and you will be glad you did.

Joolca dodgy service

Joolca customer service is very poor, delivery of items ordered and paid for far exceeds time frame advised at purchase (2 months and 1 month) and Joolca have not delivered 2 of 4 items purchased, despite the courier company confirmation and courier picture of item delivered, Joolca will not send items until they complete and internal investigation, that has still not been resolved after two weeks. The one item arrived, box damaged, package opened. Disappointed to say Joolca are happy for you to pay for the products but not deliver as promised. I have sent many many many emails, Joolca offer no solution. Be very careful when you purchase from Joolca. I'm hoping im not loosing over $1,000 of Joolca products paid for.

Thank you for sharing your feedback, and I’m really sorry to hear about your experience. I completely understand how frustrating this must have been, and I want you to know that I hear you.
I've had a look into this for you and I see that you placed two separate orders with us. Your first order was for the GottaGo toilet and this was on preorder at the time of your purchase so that's why it took a few months to get shipped out to you. I'm happy to see that this was delivered to you with no issues.
As for your second order (the one with delivery issues), I can see that we shipped it out to you within 48 hours, and it looks like the courier has encountered delays. Unfortunately, we have no control over their shipping times however, we have raised an investigation with the courier for you to find out what is happening with your order. We weren't getting a clear response from them which caused further delays. To get your gear to you as quickly as possible, we organised to send you replacements for the missing items before the courier’s investigation was finished. It looks like the ETA on delivery is in the next couple of days.
Also, I'm so sorry to hear that you received a damaged and opened box. This must have happened during shipping because all our products are sealed and brand new. This is not the experience we want you to have and I would be more than happy to replace any missing or damaged items—just let me know, and I’ll get it sorted out for you right away.

Joolca costumer support is top notch!!

We had a leaky blue hose quick connect that we couldn’t resolve using the troubleshooting steps on their site. I opted to use the text messaging for help and they responded a day later which normally they respond right away. That was not an issue for me since it was not an emergency. I communicated with them all the steps I took to fix the leak, they quickly placed an order to replace the blue hose fittings. I received confirmation that they were sending the parts without me asking them to do so. They replaced my 12 volt pump cord the same way with just a few questions and no hassles. I will continue to use their products because they really do stand behind their warranty!! Thank you Joolca for making my family and I stay fresh and clean while we’re traveling in our van!!!

Problem resolved, Happy campers ........

My experience with Joolca after sales has been excellent. I had a hiccup with my Joolca hot tap system and sent an email. Within 30 minutes on a Saturday afternoon I received a response, followed by step by step guide with videos attached. The problem was then sorted, so happy campers. Very good after sales team, who are patient and understand from the consumers point of view. We love our Joolca.........

Great bit of kit

I bought a Joolca Hot Tap Kit for a 5 week trip this summer. While I was very impressed with the quality and the way it worked, it just didn’t suit my way of travel (as my vehicle is very small and I can’t carry enough water for showering like this). It was a shame as the Joolca worked well, was very compact and easy to set up. I asked to return it once I had gotten back from my trip and Joolca really couldn’t have been better, they were so helpful with sorting out the return and the process was easy.

Thank you Nico and the rest of the Joolca team. I look forward to buying one in the future when I get a bigger vehicle!

Delivery is diabolical and customer service is a token tick box

This is purely review of experience of customer service. Ordered double en-suite on same day package next day delivery. 12 days later after many it’s on way, DPD picking up in morning and deliver in the afternoon, then trying to get sent to a DPD drop point as was away and needed it. It was daily plus messaging. Shame customer service not as good as products very stressful & unpleasant purchasing.
Sadly this will be the downfall of a good products.

So good I own two

I own two complete units from Joolca and support them as the best company for instant hot water overlander needs. Anytime I have an issue they are more than willing to support me through the process and resolve any issues I have.

I bought the Joolca Hottap V2 Portable…

I bought the Joolca Hottap V2 Portable hot water kit for an outdoor stream fed shower for one of my short term rental properties. When this works it is great. The parts are very unreliable! I have owned this for almost one year and it is used every weekend. So far, I have replaced the D battery cartridge (faulty), the shower handle (leaking) and now the 12v power adapter has failed. This cost me 30% of my booking charge per night because I could not replace the part in time for my next guest. It broke on a Friday night and I had guests coming in the next day. I could not source this locally and had to order from Amazon for next day delivery and Joolca for a spare part. I had to hang solar shower bags and they were not received well by my guests. I have also had multiple problems with the pump priming. I would recommend buying spare parts for anything that needs replacing quickly. The warranty has covered all my parts except the 12v power adapter because I have not submitted my video yet, this warranty process is not quick, approximately 10-day turnaround for replacement parts once the video is submitted. Maybe if you do not use this regularly it will be fine, when your business depends on it buyer beware.

Thank you for sharing your honest feedback. I'm happy to hear that you're happy with your HOTTAP when it works well, but I'm sorry that it's not working consistently. I completely understand the need for reliability, especially since you use your Joolca gear for your business, and I'd love to make this right for you.
Generally, all of our parts, from the HOTTAP to the accessories are pretty reliable, however, sometimes things do fail and I'm really sorry that several parts of your setup have had issues. The replacements should definitely get these issues sorted and I'm positive that everything will go smoothly from here.
Touching on the shipping times, we do ship out orders on the same day if ordered before 12pm local time, or it would be the next day. Whilst this isn't next day delivery, once ordered, your parts should arrive within the week.
Lastly, you're right, having spare parts readily available would be a smart move. Since the issues affected your business, I'm happy to send spare parts your way as a way of saying sorry. Aside from the 12v Power Adapter that'll be replaced under warranty (no need for the video), I'll send you another 12v Power Adapter, 12v pump, and shower handle. I hope this will give you peace of mind for your business.

6 days now and still no response as to shipping, numerous emails and the response is always “I’ll get in contact with the warehouse and have is shipped out today”

Not waterproof.

We have had our double en-suite tend for a couple of years now. Only use if for festivals so probably been used about 4 times. We’ve been really lucky with the weather in the past and last weekend was our first ‘wet’ festival day. Can’t tell you how disappointed we were to open it up and find the ‘dry room’ dripping with water. We’re not talking torrential rain here, just a few hours of weather. The seams are not heat sealed, should have checked but when you spend a couple of hundred quid on a utility tent it’s kind of expected. I emailed the company just to let them know how disappointed we were to be told that the material and zips are waterproof and be completely ignored about the issue with the seams. The advice was to take it down if it was raining and it would withstand a light shower. Genuinely gutted with the product, which has been fantastic, and the response.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I'm really sorry to hear that your first rainy trip with your Ensuite turned into a letdown. I would be more than happy to turn this experience around for you.
Our Ensuite Tents are made of waterproof fabric, and they withstand rain pretty well. With this in mind, the seams on the Ensuite Tents can let in some water if exposed to heavy rain but generally, the tents do a good job keeping out the wet.
The Ensuite Double Awning Kit is a one-piece fly and awning that provides additional protection from the rain and I can see that we've placed an order for you at a 50% discount.
I want to make the best out of this situation so I'll go ahead and refund you so you can have the Ensuite Double Awning Kit free of charge.

We have been using our Joolca for a few…

We have been using our Joolca for a few years and love it. It serves us well all this time. Recently we had an unfortunate trouble with our Joolca, and we reached out to the service department and right away they responded and sent out the new part. Everyone was so helpful and responsive. We are happy to being back in business and using our Joolca.

Great product and customer service. Ran into a small issue and it was resolved in no time. I have a great outdoor shower by the beach so the shower gets used constantly, never fails.

The best in the world

I ordered the wrong kit by accident and was missing only 1 item to upgrade it to what I wanted. I could have saved a little money by ordering the correct one first. When I explained this to the customer service rep, they offered to send me the item at a discount... therefore upgrading my kit to what I really wanted at the same price. Thanks!

Fabulous product - great customer service

We loved using the Joolca double tent shower for many months when our bathrooms were being remodeled. It was amazing! When the remodel was finally finished and we were packing up the tent, a small tear in the top of the fabic tore open as we folded the frame. I contacted Joolca and they sent us new tent fabric, at no cost, under their warranty -- We didn't expect that!!

Camping Elevated!

The Joolca Nomad Kit took our annual camping trip to the next level! We take a 10 day camping trip every year and the two worst are doing dishes and taking cold baths in the river. This year, doing dishes was a breeze and taking a long hot shower while watching my kids fish is one of my favorite memories! My wife was skeptical at first and rolled her eyes when I bought the kit, but she can’t imagine camping without it now!!
