Just Honda レビュー 

Purchased a Honda strimmer online (UMS 425 LE) stated as 5KG weight and entered my postcode to calculate delivery and it came up as £9.99 as my Scottish postcode is Wishaw ML2 (Classed as UK mainland) and incidentally located between both Livingston & the Glasgow depots of their utilised carrier DHL.
DHL do not list any additional delivery charges for my postcode as it is classed as UK mainline but after purchasing this item, I get the additional charge emailed of £15 due to their carrier (DHL) adding this surcharge for Scotland & north of the border delivery. The email stated that their carrier applies this automatically for all orders north of the border and to pay £15 additionally.
This additional charge of £15 contradicts their below terms on their website regarding mainline UK as well as the DHL delivery companies classification and is an additional cost where my postcode is being charged similar to the remote regions of Scotland.
Just Honda need to update their stated website delivery information accordingly and make it clear that all Scottish postcodes will occur additional delivery charges and not have the additional stealth charge applied after paying online for an order especially as my postcode was entered during purchase and it stated just the £9.99 delivery.

Also the order invoice details sent did not state this additional charge and it was only a Paypal invoice emailed for the additional £15, where you would expect the additional cost on the final invoice for the purchased Honda strimmer. Weird!

I should of just cancelled and went with another company as their price included delivery to my postcode and it was only technically £7 more expensive, but for the hassle of getting Paypal refunded & reordering it was not worth the additional grief.

4. Delivery Charges
4.1 We charge a flat rate of £9.99 for most orders (no matter the cost, weight or size) which are being sent to UK mainland addresses (English and Welsh mainland addresses and most Scottish addresses).
4.2 Some products will be delivered by us (see below for more information) and will incur the following delivery charges:
Core Products - All HRX, HRD, HRH, HRN Lawn mowers, UM, All tillers (except FG110 and FG201) - £29.95
Ride-on Mowers - All lawn tractors & riders - £99.00
4.3 For all riding mowers we charge from £69.00 up to £99.00, depending on size, weight and value of the machine, to England and Wales mainland addresses (currently not available to Scotland).
4.4 Some Scottish postcodes may incur an additional delivery charge and may take longer to arrive. The additional delivery charge is calculated based on the item ordered and the delivery postcode. We will inform you prior to processing your order of any additional delivery charges applicable to your order, at which time you have the right to accept these, or to cancel you order. My last honda Izzy lawn mower lasted 13 years. I used it regularly as I run a garden maintenance business. It was literally falling apart in the end but the engine still started with the first pull every time. I purchased a new Izzy and paid £29.99 for delivery which included having the mower assembled and ready to use with engine oil and fuel added.

The web site was good with variety of products and reasonable prices.
But when I purchased a lawnmower I had to choose the method of dispatch. There were two options I chose the cheaper at £9. But Once I paid I received an email that I had to pay a further £15 because I live in North of Scotland. This was not made clear in the website. And they would not release the product until I paid the extra money. It was like being held to ransom. In any case I had to give my address before the purchase. The web site should have automatically picked up on my location and alerted me to extra money required for dispatch. It left a sour taste. I live in UK and bought a product advertised for sale in UK. Why do I have to pay more to have it sent.

The costing of this item was nothing short of extortionate ! Charging 20% more than the cost of the item to deliver such a small item. 🤬🤬

Great service and prompt postage

Update on Honda lawnmower experience: More a warning about Honda than the seller "Just Honda". I gave a 5-star rating on purchase, but having gone to use the Honda HRX476C for the very first time this spring, it simply would not start. "Just Honda" initially blamed the fuel (i.e. leaving the fuel in the tank, which was the fuel "Just Honda" put in before delievery), but sent someone to examine the machine about three weeks ago. After seeing a completely clean carburettor, a faulty carburettor was diagnosed and the lawnmower was taken back for repair. After chasing for an update yesterday, I was informed that they are in discussion with Honda who has so far "declined to cover the cost of the replacement carburettor" under warranty (so much for Honda's stated 7-year warranty!). Please note that this machine cost over £1000, still has its protective stickers on and has never seen a blade of grass since it was delivered (who cuts lawns over winter?). I shall never buy anything from Honda again.

I purchased a Honda lawnmower less than a year ago, trusting in the brand’s reputation for durability and quality. Unfortunately, after just 11 months of regular use and meticulous care—including cleaning after every cut—the paint on the mower deck began to fail, leading to visible rust.

I raised a warranty claim through the dealer, only to be told by Honda that the issue was due to “impact from debris,” and therefore not covered. This explanation is not only unconvincing, it feels dismissive. The mower has never encountered anything beyond normal grass cutting—no stones, no rough terrain, nothing beyond standard use.

I expected much better from a premium product and an established brand. It’s incredibly disappointing to invest in a high-end machine only to find it doesn’t live up to basic expectations—and to have the manufacturer reject responsibility.

I’ll be considering other brands in the future, and I hope my experience helps others make a more informed decision.

A genuine Honda blade at a reasonable price, well packaged and delivered promptly.
Up to now, my mower has been serviced by a local mower dealer, and it is obvious to me now that the replacement blades have not been true Honda spares - there is a very noticeable difference in quality. Lesson learned.
