Bought a bag from Printemps. With very light and occasional usage the leather handles have completely peeled amd frayed. Poorest quality I have experienced. Have emailed and followed up several times with both Printemps and KL. No response no help provided. The warranty is a lie.

I am extremely disappointed with both the quality of a new collection cardigan and the service provided by Karl Lagerfeld in the Tsum department store, Kyiv. On December 30th, 2025, I bought a cardigan for â¬261.65. After wearing it only twice, multiple holes appeared.
âWhen I returned to the store on January 4th to resolve this, the staff was dismissive and claimed it was due to "incorrect washing"âwhich is impossible as I was staying in a hotel and hadn't washed it yet. The manager refused any refund or exchange.
âFor a premium brand, this level of quality and lack of customer care is unacceptable. I have escalated this to their headquarters in Amsterdam and hope for a proper solution.

I've ordered a watch. They send me the wrong one. I wanted to buy a new one straight away as return process will take couple of weeks. Unfortunately it is out of stock...Ivan who was my little elf from Team Karl apart from being useless has a zero work ethic and good manners.
Never again!!! So I ended with no watch and frozen money as the refund will arrive after New Year. Use different website if you wish to buy Karl, as his own is a HUGE DISASTER!

Escribo a atención al cliente, ya que soy cliente habitual y siempre lo envÃan con caja y un embalaje apropiado. Y su respuesta es que el sobre está fabricado con papel 100 % certificado por el FSC, apoyando la sostenibilidad y cumpliendo con la normativa de seguridad europea. Muy bien pero es que no son unos calcetines. Es un jersey de 250⬠en un sobre de menos de 40cm. Cómo suponen que le quitaré la marca de los pliegues. La próxima vez lo enviarán con una bolsa de basura negra. Como cliente de una marca reconocida por su calidad y atención al detalle, esperaba una presentación a la altura de sus estándares.
Considero que este aspecto deberÃa cuidarse más, especialmente tratándose de artÃculos supuestamente de gama alta. Cualquier marca low cost envÃan sus productos con más detalle y delicadeza que ellos. Y ahora a esperar casi un mes con el tema del reembolso. Una vergÃŒenza.

On November 28th, I received an email: "Sorry, your order has been cancelled." Such a reputable brand, I thought, I'll try calling customer service. I called, spoke to a nice young man named Jordan, who was lamenting the unfair cancellation of the order and offered to help me reorder the coat. "When can I receive my order?" I asked. Jordan replied - December 10th. This was a bit "close" to the date of the party at which my daughter will wear the new coat, but okay, I thought and ordered the coat a second time through Jordan. He promised this time everything would be different, and I believed...
On November 30, I received an email. Can you guess? Yes, that's right, "Your order has been cancelled." I called customer service again, and spoke to the same Jordan again. "Sorry, apparently the size Medium ran out just when you reordered, now that size is out of stock, and there's nothing I can do." (I'm curious why the company puts it on Selling something that doesn't exist?

I ordered a very cute dress over a week ago. I was looking forward to have and I get an email that itâs on back order when I called customer service when it will come they did not know and I had to cancel my whole order because they already charged me and I donât want to be charged indefinitely. Iâm annoyed because it also says the dress is in stock , online and still says so.
And on top of this the shirt I ordered also is back ordered. Iâm disappointed.

What an alround terrible customer experience from this company. Sent out defective product, over a week to investigate a missing strap from a bag only to confirm they never dispatched it in the first place. No offer to replace the gift with what I actually paid for.
Was left with no option but to return the product and request a refund. Despite my DHL tracking confirming Karl Lagerfeld is in receipt of the returned bag they are still not actioning my refund. These guys are the worst, almost a month on now and still no sign of my hard earned money being returned. This guys are either completely incompetent or outright crooks.
Don't part with your har earning money to buy anything from these
amateurs. What a completely frustrating experience.
Update- Receiving a response to a review about poor customer experience and customer care 4 months after the orginal issue speaks volumes. Companies like this think by saying sorry on Trust pilot it makes everything ok and looks like they have actually done something. Lazy customer service and crap company.

I bought the 52530 model and after just one wear the shoes are peeling from the inside. I literally wore them no more than 5-6 hours on a private party (no long walking) and the shoes are falling apart. You'd expect a lot better quality for the price tag. To put it mildly I'm very very disappointed and will never ever buy again the same brand!
