Very disappointing experience.

I was given an initial quote for my car and arranged a valuation. However, on the day of the appointment, before anyone had even seen the car in person, I was contacted and told that the car had apparently dropped in value by over £2,000 following their “research”.

I find this extremely frustrating. The whole point of arranging a valuation is surely for the company to inspect the actual vehicle, its condition and specification before making a final offer. Instead, the price was reduced significantly before they had even arrived or seen the car.

It left me feeling that the initial quote was simply used to get me on board, with the intention of reducing the price later. Whether that was the case or not, this is certainly how the experience came across to me.

Based on my experience, I would be very cautious about relying on their initial valuation. A company should be transparent and give customers confidence that the price they are quoted is based on genuine research and a proper assessment of the vehicle.

I chose Kent Car Buyer after looking for a trusted dealer who could come to the property. I was assisting an elderly neighbour sell his car so needed a reliable and simple option. From start to finish communication was good. Andy showed kindness and patience throughout the process and the sale was completed satisfactorily.

Started well with offer for £27400 for my VW Tiguan 2025 then when you take the Bait after few Days they ring you with an insult of less then £3000 just after arranging viewing of Car! Wish they be Honest at the start before they build up your Hopes

I just sold my Toyota Yaris with Kent Car Buyer. Andy was really clear with his communication, and responded to messages really quickly. A very fair and justified offer was given, unlike when I went to We Buy Any Car! The offer given to me by Kent Car Buyer was over £1200 higher than We Buy Any Car!

Tax, new vehicle ownership and money was paid whilst Andy was stood there in person. Couldn’t recommend this company high enough. Top service.

Sold my Skoda today. The buyer arrived within a few hours, was polite and communicated well through out the sale. No unnecessary haggling trying to knock me down of the asking price. Transfered money immediately and infront of me. Couldn't recommend more.

Andy gave me a quote, arrived the following morning as agreed. Did not try to reduce agreed price quoted. Definitely would recommend these guys above any of the other “we buy” companies as they are good to their word and polite, and sort out tax, the paperwork and immediately transfer funds into your account. The best decision I have made, decided to sell my Fiat 500 and I could not be happier. Instant communication from Kev and I had alot of questions which were answered in detail to reassure me. I had a next day appointment to sell my car (they even came to my workplace) and it only took 15 minutes and a small test drive to agree on the initial quote (no fees at all) and payment went in immediately. Andy who came out to view my car was exceptional and so kind and informative. An amazing company I have no hesitation in recommending. We Buy Any Car offered me much less with fees on top.

I was impressed by the prompt response to my query and by the expertise of the person who came to inspect the car. Using his electronic device, he was able to identify the likely cause of a recent breakdown. This was confirmed in a road test. The price I was offered took account of the cost of necessary repairs. But it was still a fair price and I was paid immediately.

Everything was managed in a very professional and efficient way. From the first contact via WhatsApp with Kev, followed by the appointment (at your home address) by Tom and finishing off with Andy over the phone. They will do all the paperwork for you too!

Who to trust when you're trying to sell a vehicle well we would definitely recommend Kent Car Buyer. Easy transaction from start to finish. Filled in an online form, communication from Kev on WhatsApp was good. Valuation given subject to viewing. We received very close to the valuation. Tom came to view and was friendly and professional. After a chat with Andy the money was transferred immediately and V5 form done online. We were asked to check each stage to make sure all was in order. Definitely recommended

Buy all means get you car valued in under a minute place. With the over inflated hook price Then take it in and get the real price they will pay. Ie couple grand less then take of admin fee and the charge to get your money paid straight away.

Then compare that to Kent car buyer. No hook price no admin fee and no fee for paying you instantly !
Just as quick and easy. If you Take honest pictures of your car service book etc watts app em over Tell em honestly any obvious issues and the price they then quote there will be pretty close give or take a few pounds when they come out to you to buy it

They don’t want to waste your time or there’s they want to come out take it for little spin confirm everything you sent em is as it is.
If everything is as you said. Then that’s what they will pay.

Andy / Kevin easy to communicate everything I did was watts app ( but you can do email if you prefer ). And I had Tom come out to do the viewing and buy it he look at the car took it for quick spin was happy thing in order.
Sale agreed. 2 minutes later money in my account. And v5 transferred to them. He loaded on his low loader Job done.

And a few more pounds in the bank that from the value you car in Under a minute place.
Obviously if you want maximum money try private sale etc. but if you want stress free safe and easy then give Kent car buyers a go

Could not recommend this company more. I filled in the online form and Kev contacted me on WhatsApp, I sent over loads of photos of the car and was offered a very reasonable price which I was happy with so we arranged for Andy to come out the next morning, less than 24 hours later! The next morning came and Kev text to let me know Tom would be coming instead, no problem. Tom turned up on time and was very polite, looked over the car and took it for a drive down the road to obviously make sure it worked as I'd said. A quick call to Andy when price was agreed and money was paid to my finance company there and then and the equity sent to me.
An amazing experience and I'd use them again and again if I need to in the future, would recommend them to anyone - start to finish my car was sold and money received in less than 24 hours! Thank you Kev, Tom and Andy!
