Sally is a very nice kind lady. We have brought two hamsters to her for cremation and both times she treated them with care and compassion as if they were still alive. She does a little service beforehand and thanks them for being in our lives and making us happy for that short time they were with us.
She has let us stay throughout and even talked my then fifteen year old morbidly curious daughter through the process. We were allowed to watch the whole thing.
On the second one she made us leave the little unit the cremation takes place in while she did a service for someone else’s cat, and rightly so as I’d like to think that my animals would be treated the same in our absence and treated as the individual loved pet they once were, still are in a way.
I’m so pleased I chose their services instead of the other two places I originally enquired with. And the price is extremely reasonable too and she gives a few little extras to help remember our pet by.
Extremely impressed and will definitely bring our next pet here once they pass.

Sally was so helpful, compassionate and kind when I had to cremate my beautiful girl Roxy. She came at short notice and made the process as smooth as possible.

It was such a relief to find Sally and Kind Funerals. From her very first email reply, Sally put me at ease with a perfect combination of compassion, empathy, and practicality. Sadly, our pet's condition deteriorated quickly and we had to move things forward by a few days. Sally answered our call on a Sunday and was incredibly kind, helpful, and understanding.

I can’t emphasise enough how comforting it was to speak to a real human being – someone who truly understood what we were going through.

Just two days after our beloved girl passed away, we received her ashes along with the memorial items we had chosen. That made a big difference in helping our children begin to come to terms with the loss.

During such a sad time, the experience I had with Kind brought so much comfort. The lady who I spoke to on the phone when I called (I’m afraid I don’t know her name) was so warm and helpful, then Sally contacted me back quickly, before pretty much leaving straight away to pick up my beloved pet.

Clover (my pet) is already back home with me three days later, alongside lovely ink paw prints, clay paw prints and a fur sample.

Two things that brought so much comfort were the kindness of the team and the fact that Clover was picked up from my home, rather than having to leave her at the vets.

I would thoroughly recommend Kind and would use their service again without hesitation.

Losing my beloved cat Stewie — my best friend, my companion, my soul mate — was one of the most devastating moments of my life. His passing was sudden, only 4yrs old and I was completely overwhelmed with grief and disbelief.

Sally from Kind Funerals was, without exaggeration, an angel in disguise during that time. From the very first contact, her compassion, warmth, and understanding helped me through what felt unbearable. She treated Stewie with such tenderness and dignity, as if he were her own — and for that, I will always be grateful.

The service she arranged was beautiful. Every detail felt thoughtful, gentle, and full of love. And the burial location… it truly felt like a small glimpse of what I imagine Heaven to be. A tranquil, peaceful resting place, perfect for a soul as special as Stewie’s.

When we as a family woke up last week, we found our beautiful dog Carmel had passed overnight ending 14 years of love, affection, loyalty & fun - To say we were distraught would be an understatement. Once composed we knew straight away we wanted her to be looked after by the very best! - After various calls by my daughter, she exclaimed “I have found the perfect place, after speaking to a lovely lady, Sally at KIND” - Sally arrived within 2 hours and as soon as she stepped in she metaphorically held all our hands with sympathy and empathy and guided us through the process. Sally personally brought our Carmel back a couple of days later and spent time with us on the handover obviously realising how difficult it was for us. We are so lucky we found KIND and we have no hesitation in awarding 5* - We will never forget your kindness Sally which made the experience a little easier.

We are grateful to Kind Funerals. Sally was really helpful. When we managed to call the cremation service, Sally picked up the phone right away, and her kind words gave us a lot of comfort. She even came to pick up our beloved pet on her way. It's efficient. We were able to collect the keepsake and ashes the next day. Sally really has the passion and love for animals. Much appreciated!

Kind Funerals are the best service anyone could wish for. Feeling very emotional when my elderly cat died last week, I was so lucky to find them. Sally is a lovely lady. She came to collect my cat with her sweet little dog 'Snoopy' and was so kind and reassuring and understanding
She brought a nice comfy bed to lay him on and when she left I knew I had handed him to a very special person. The service is so affordable and exceptional, over and above what I expected. She drove all the way from Surrey to East London twice in week.

It is so personal and you know she genuinely cares, not just carrying out a job with a fake smile. It is very uplifting to know you have chosen the right person when you lose a beloved pet. I would give her a million stars.

Good service. Lovely and kind. They are professional and comfort your feelings. That's what you need when you lose someone.

We contacted Kind Funerals late in the evening online and Sally came back to us very quickly by text to confirm receipt of online order and said Nigel would contact us in the morning to arrange collection of our beautiful cat Peaches. He did pick her up that very same day and was very lovely and kind and so respectful of us and Peaches. We knew Peaches was in safe hands.

Gave us comfort after losing our guinea pig. Showed compassion and empathy. Explained the process simply and clearly. Treated Pebble - our guinea pig - with dignity and kindness and also looked after us. We were able to follow the pet cremation step by step. The owner added a personal touch by lighting a candle and saying a prayer allowing us to say good bye. The service was delivered with care at all times. It wasn't rushed and our grieve felt respected. We're now waiting for the ashes and memorabilia to be returned which should happen soon. We would recommend this company to anyone who is looking to give their pet a dignified sent off.

A massive thank you to Sally who was there on the same day. She was very kind and very understanding & updated me throughout the process. I received my beloved pet’s ashes two days later.
It was quick and Sally made a very sad situation as painless as possible.

I can't recommend this place enough. I lose my rabbit on a Sunday night and I've never had any animals cremated before. all the local vets that were open on a Sunday night couldn't help. I had no way of taking her anywhere myself. called this company late at night and they answered straight away and collected my Rosie the next day. The lady who collected, Sally, was an absolute angel. Texted me throughout the collection process helped me when I was a bit of a mess handing my bed over. she took her in a wonderful bed they provided. I then relieved Rosie safely packaged the next day. Everything included was absolutely lovely and made what could've been a very depressing process, into one that was very sweet. I cannot express my thanks to Sally and the rest of the staff enough.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Sally was so lovely, the service was very quick and everything I received was perfect and thoughtful. It really helped me feel better after my sudden loss. Thank you!

From the start, Sally was very reassuring and showed great compassion at a very sad time. She went out of her way to get to me on the same day, and explain everything that would happen. It put me at ease knowing that someone who has a love and understanding of animals would arrange everything with dignity and respect. Sally made the most difficult day a little more bearable. Sally responded to my booking request within minutes and collected my Jasmine within 2 hours and returned her back to us on our chosen day 3 days later.
