I have had a dreadful experience…
I have had a dreadful experience with this company. I contacted them 7 months ago when I had an unusually high bill of more than £600 due to an electric meter reading. I asked to set up a payment plan to cover half of the bill. this should have been a straight forward process. instead I received credit control emails, texts, and letters every month for 7 months. I was told to ignore debt collector letters and had my business internet and phone lines suspended during a busy period. This was hugely detrimental to my business and I spent hours, (at least six hours in one month) trying to sort the problems. I pay by direct debit and have been a customer since 2018. I was offered a very small gesture of good will twice, due to the constant errors that were made by various people throughout the company. I was pushed from pillar to post EVERY month when i contacted kinex to inform them of more unnerving credit control letters, despite paying monthly and having a small payment plan in place. One department of kinex obviously does not speak to the other internal department causing nothing more than time wasted, money lost due to suspended services which were not even related to the electric bill. Twice my services were suspended. The last 7 months have caused so much anxiety, frustration and loss of income and hours and spent on the phone lines each month. The second gesture of goodwill of £30 taken off my next bill, doesn't make up for all the errors. I will be leaving when my contract ends. DREADFULL experience.

Awful communication and high level sales tactics. They have asked me for an account which I don't have with them, obviously? I've never taken out their service...the diabolical presales service was a massive warning flag!

Can't seem to get a correct bill
Can't seem to get a correct bill. One month I get £2700 credit the next it's £4100 debit. I have been rebilled for the entirety of 2023 multip times. On my last bill, I am paying for FEBRUARY 2023. They were the ones who set up my account with day and night rates and they keep switching them around every month.
Their energy prices are astromic for this period in time, their Internet charges are a joke oh and if you want to leave the contract you have the pay for the entirety of said contract.
Just don't sign up with them, they're a broker, avoid brokers for everything. Only letting me out of my contract so I can go with someone reasonable will I remove this review.
EDIT: to the response. My meter cerial number is registered to the energy supplier, who is not kinex, but I am paying kinex. This is how brokers work.

Poor Response to Problems
It’s now been a full week 7 days without phone and internet for my business and have not received one phone call of reassurance that things are getting sorted.
The Router that was supposedly sent last week has still not arrived.
The fundamental part of having an agreement with a broadband company is when/if a problem arises it’s fixed as quickly as possible.
If you are looking for a new broadband deal use a bigger company which responds quicker to customers when a problem happens.

I resigned up for th same as b4 last week, no they are bothering me for a signture for a mobile as well, I told them I haev a differeent suppier for my mobile phone, BUT the keep on sending mail after mail after mail . Impossible to talk to anyone, they answer start a conversation, then put me on hold while they
suposedly look up sme rcord and then never return to talk hold for 40 minutes before I hung up, a few days ago... I am concerned as towhat they will charge me now... they were always an ok company, NOT now..

Keeping being charged despite no contract
We are a charity supporting asylum seekers and refugees. We had one 3-year contract with KINEX for our landline with broadband when we were based in NE1, during covid pandemic we needed to move out from the premises and we requested KINEX to transfer the same number to the new premises (NE4). But our request was declined by Kinex saying we could not use the old number (ending ...3158) and we had to use a new number (ending 2527), also needed to pay £99.99 installation fee for that in order to continue our landline.
Later, we discovered we were paying for two numbers, despite we emailed cancelling the orginal number. After a while, we noticed we had been charged for two numbers and emailed to tell them we only had one contract with Kinex. In order to fulfil our contract we waited and paid all the expenses until May 2022 to expire. However, Kinex has still kept charging us till today despite I emailed them explaining we had no intention to renew the contract when it discontinued in May 2022 because of lack of enough funding. I hope this is a genuine mistake or misunderstanding.
However, KINEX have been keeping on charging our charity and on behalf of our charity, I have been receiving emails and messages from a company called AJJB Law (subject: personal messaage) claiming that a County Court Claim will be issued should an amount of £775.58 not cleared.
Being a small charity, we have no time to deal with forward and backward conversation. However, I kept all the email correspondences about these. I'm writing to seek help so that this issue can be resolved and receive legal advice from others who have had the similar experience.

My company has been without broadband
My company has been without broadband. And Phone for 8 days. We are a retail face to face business. Our Invoice and payment system is on line only. The biggest problem is they out souse their call center to asia. The people we have talked to do not understand and continually the line cuts. I believe they are in breach of contract with us as they are not providing any service. They piggy back on the openreach network. Basically these cowboys are putting us out of business on something we pay circa £200 a month on. We are looking for an alternative supplier..

For all business owners please never deal with them they will charge you a lot . And you can’t do anything about it every months my bills going up never down . And we still working same as before but apparently my bills are almost double. Don’t believe their prices
