Badly trained staff! Held on answer phone for hours just waiting to talk to someone! Poor communication and poorly trained staff.
I initially took out what I thought was a 2 year broadband contract with this company for my home and cafe thinking it would cheaper to combine both only to find they extended the contract to 3 years without my permission. I was initially charged around £50pm for both. They then without my permission and for no valid reason increased this to over £100pm taking payments via direct debit. They told me the government was forcing everyone to have 5g and that all lines will be 5g. I disputed this. One of the many lies and deception techniques they use to ensnare customers. Avoid this company! They are terrible! The service is totally unacceptable.
I sold my cafe and ceased trading and requested they disconnect the broadband. They ask me to fill in their online form which I did giving them proof of ceased trading. I was charged over £1,000 early termination fees via direct debit which I now expect to be returned to me in full. My solicitor has written to them. I am still waiting for the refund. This company needs to be reported to the Ombudsman. I have done this and will expect full compensation from them in the future for my time wasted and constant connection problems!

We were left with no internet for over 7 weeks, no communication and the company just fobbed us off everytime we spoke to them. We have now moved to a new provider & they have the audacity to charge us a termination fee... termination of what exactly?????
AVOID, There are far better providers out there.

I joined Kinex in 2019 my original company for phone and internet supplier became very flippant with lack of speeds and phone line fails, i changed to Kinex great for the first year and went downhill from there on, i complained about my router many times i complained about the lack of wifi. Kinex adjusted this adjusted that still bad reception. they offered me a new Router ( if i paid for it) No its there problem i muddled through with complaint after complaint even a threat with the ombudsman which Kinex acted on with kindness still didn't get the fault with the router sorted. Kinex organised for an engineer to attend by email 15/12/2021 2 years after the original complaint the Engineer promptly removed all 3 landlines and Answer phone rewired the white box supplied a new Router and connected it all up, when questioned about my landline he said i need a phone W73P Dect and base station i was left with No landline for over 6 days and No answerphones i had to use a online app that crashed soon after installation, I found out that it was a different company for the internet and line a new contract had been renewed till 2024 (Automatically) with all the threats of court action from the person i was talking too. my speeds have now dropped from what they promised the router still plays up and the phone they supplied is thrown in a box. i've now retired still paying for something im not getting if i could go back to my old provider i would, I think Kinex are a bad company to use

If I could give no stars I would. Left end of June when my business closed and sold property. Had gas, electric and broadband, gave all documents to close account. They closed electric and broadband and 2 months later are still trying to charge gas even though property has been sold to someone else. They ignore emails and continue to harass me. I am an 81 year old woman and this situation is really affecting my mental health.
