The whole experience, from entering through the door, testing and conversations with the audiologist. Professional and caring.

I had had my ears syringed in the past but was very interested in the vacuum procedure. It worked like a charm: I had not realised how compromised my hearing had been. Kara explained the whole process and I was able to watch on a screen. My post hearing test indicated some loss of hearing, but I was by no means pressured into having any type of hearing aid, but will be called in a years time for a follow-up complimentary test. She was professional, knowledgable and empathetic. Dave was pleasant and helpful. In all, a thoroughly professional and efficient service at an excellent price.

Would fully recommend K&M! Came in to get my ears moulded for some custom plugs. Dave was very friendly and helpful booking the appointment and when I arrived, and Kara was great doing my impressions, very friendly and happy to explain the process and talk through my options - great service and friendly team all round

Both members of staff were extremely kind and considerate, along with being very professional and efficient. They took the time to listen to my concerns and explain the test results, and possible solutions. I would highly recommend K&M to anyone!

With this being my first ear suction appointment I did not know what to initially expect however Kara and Dave were fantastic! Dave was welcoming and easy to chat to and Kara was knowledgeable and so helpful. All in all I could not recommend K&M Hearing Solutions enough, I can finally hear!

Friendly, welcoming staff. Sorted out my blocked ears and gave me my hearing back. Salon was scrupulously clean and comfortable. Good explanations and follow up care given!

This hearing aid shop is on my walk into Truro from the station so first time i asked about hearing aids out of curiosity as i wear one from morning to night to correct my moderate hearing loss but bought them from someone in London.

Kara, one of the owner partners, was really helpful, knowledgable and informative. I found they are independent and use the hearing aid brands I had found the best, such as Starkey. It seems the latest hearing aids are rechargeable but Kara fixed my hearing aid with some maintenance tools, which sorted out the problem and has saved me hundreds of pounds sending it off to manufacturers via an audiologist in London. This had been expensive and very time consuming, with 3 returns for correct repairs needed on one occasion.

Therefore having an independent hearing centre in Truro (less than 10 mins walk from station and opposite a lovely cafe) removes the anxiety I experience when my hearing aid microphone stops working. Kara also showed me a Puretone dehumidifier to keep my hearing aid free of moisture and had filters and ear drops, which can be used at night by hearing aid wearers, to buy off the shelf. Big store brands often specify not to be used by hearing aid wearers. When I have time to focus I will explore a new hearing aid from K and M as they instill about trust, which is amazing to have nearby after my decades of negative experience with hearing aid dispensers in the past.

Very relaxed and informative appt . It was adapted for my complaint at the time as opposed to what I had booked . Information was then shared with GP promptly

Called in to make an appointment, and was sorted there and then, ears cleaned! Most impressed.

I will go as far as saying the help and advice Kara gave me was life changing! I won’t detail the issues I have had but her calm, caring professionalism has enabled me to at last regain a normal hearing capacity.

I came in for some custom sleep earplugs. Kara was lovely throughout the entire process. I had some difficulties getting the right fit with one of the ear plugs, and Kara was incredibly supportive in going through the process to adjust and correct the mould as many times as necessary to get the right fit. I highly recommend K&M Hearing Solutions.

We purchased hearing aids from another high street provider, and keep going back to be adjusted and not much better.
Then we saw K&M hearing in the Cornwall living magazine and booked in for the performance review and what a difference - it is the best my hearing has been in years and the family say how much more I can catch now - I (we) cannot recommend Kara enough and when anyone mentions hearing issues I say to them contact K&M - a very professional and welcoming service , Many thanks Sue

What can I say about Kara and K&M hearing ?
I had an initial tinnitus consultation which was thorough and professional , this was then followed up with a fitting for hearing aids and also a referral to an ENT . Kara as well as being incredibly knowledgable and professional is caring , kind and made a slightly scary situation also fun with her friendly persona and a nice cup of coffee. I couldn’t recommend Kara more , the whole experience has been fantastic.

Having put off addressing my hearing problems for too long, I feel that I struck gold when choosing K&M Hearing Solutions. Kara the audiologist is extremely experienced and knowledgeable and relates so well to her patients. I think she has found a solution to my hearing impairment which will greatly improve my quality of life and I am very grateful.

Very apprehensive when I booked but my worries were soon put to rest ...outstanding service... kara is very understanding and explained everything to me ..and then showed me why I shouldn't use cotton buds...and she makes a banging cuppa.....
