Nice features and makes effort to resolve issues
Great to have human faces behind the service. Makes the service a pleasure to use, even when there are some problems.
Obviously, nobody wants problems, hence the -1 star.
We had a scenario where Burst SMS made some changes on their service to accommodate our unique request with respect to API calls. That's a +1.
Wish they had a DIY MMS send facility! It is currently assisted.

terrible experience
text preview wasn't working correctly.
removed opt-out then got error msg - only when i ca;led did i get info why
no info when importing list about how it should be formatted - caused major issues later

Client uploaded and tried to send to a badly formatted list without an opt-out. We refunded the campaign out of good faith and helped reformat the list and successfully send the campaign. Sometimes the process of understanding and working through these things can be frustrating however it is our belief that helping our clients to deliver the best campaigns possible is better that allowing them to send bad deliveries and doing nothing.
Found it very easy to set up and use.

Amazing customer service
Maria was amazing in providing an outstanding customer service. She was able to solve my doubts and helped me to set-up new parent/child accounts in minutes. Coming from a company that always puts customer service first, I'm very happy to find out that my business partners consider their customers a priority too.

Coming from a large corporation that has used many cheap and premium tier 1 carriers I have allot of experience dealing with all aspects of SMS providers.
Pre sales was great. Easy setup and instant access.
The console was modern, user friendly, bootstrapped and full of all required features that many other competitors don't have.
API is simple to use, well documented and took 10 minutes to hook in to our in house customised platforms.
Very happy with delivery. Have had no complaints about sending or receiving.

Message created was too long. Our character counter did count correctly but the message could not be received reliably by certain handsets. We worked with the carriers in question and fixed this issue within 48hrs of notification. Full refunds were provided to all clients affected.
Fantastic system (once you know what you're doing!)
It took us some time to figure out how to create our SMS, the website wasn't entirely intuitive, however the program worked very effectively once we had configured our job.
