**Extremely Disappointing Experience — Buyer Beware of Delivery Expectations**

I ordered a Lag Shot Golf BabyGirl 7\-Iron and Driver combo as a gift\. My order confirmation listed an **estimated delivery date of June 3**\.

Only the 7\-iron arrived\. The driver was not included, and I received no advance notice that the order would be split or that the driver was unavailable\. I had to contact Lag Shot Golf to learn that the driver was a **preorder item still in production**\.

When the driver still had not arrived, I followed up again on August 4\. I was told it was in the “final stage of production,” expected to be completed **by the end of August**, and would then need to be shipped to the company’s warehouse before being sent to me\.

In other words, an order with an estimated June 3 delivery date might not even finish production until the end of August\.

Delays and backorders happen, but the lack of proactive communication was unacceptable\. Had I known that one of the two clubs might be delayed by approximately three months beyond the estimated delivery date, I would have made a different purchasing decision—especially since this was a gift\.

If you are buying a Lag Shot Golf product for a birthday, holiday, or other time\-sensitive occasion, I strongly recommend confirming **in writing that every item is in stock and ready to ship** before ordering\.

Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Lag Shot Golf\.

I never write reviews but this is the worst customer service that I have ever experienced. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS BUSINESS - two months later and they still have not fulfilled my order AND will not give me a refund even though their products look to be conveniently backordered even though the site says in stock & should be at my house within days. If I am spending over $100 on two baby golf clubs, I expect a response, a way to return, and a refund.

I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with Lag Shot Golf deserves a mention—not for the product itself, but for the failed delivery and lack of support.

In mid-April 2025, I placed an order that included the Lag Shot Baby™ Driver (2-4 years) as well as the Lag Shot Baby™ Iron (age 1–3 years). While the Driver eventually arrived, the Iron never did.

Michelle from customer service initially responded on April 16, promising to follow up with their shipping team. After that, despite multiple emails (May 9, May 15, May 21), I received no updated tracking information (UPS tracking said that the label was created, but nothing else), no delivery update, and eventually—no response at all.

By late May—more than 2,5 months past the expected delivery date—I had to escalate the issue and open a dispute with American Express to recover the cost of the missing item.

I want to believe in the product. It’s a great concept. But the European delivery experience is a catastrophe. Perhaps it’s better if you’re ordering from the U.S., but for international customers—especially in Europe—this level of service is unacceptable.

Would I recommend the product? Possibly.
Would I recommend ordering directly from Lag Shot Golf if you’re in Europe? Definitely not.
